Greenhouse Loft - A lovely picnic style wedding!

My husband and I wanted a venue we could bring our own catering into and have a comfortable size wedding we can put our own touch on - rather than the typical catering hall. This is a completely DIY space, however they do provide tables, chairs. Everything else you bring in yourself, which is exactly what we wanted. Pictures don't do this place justice, the light that comes through the windows and how open and spacious it feels made us really fall in love with Greenhouse Loft. It also has a really unique vibe with the old wooden floors, factory windows, and the painted brick walls. I was in constant communication with Arnold and Veronica throughout the whole experience. We met with Arnold at the venue multiple times and was more than happy to walk though everything with us. Veronica was absolutely amazing with corresponding to emails and going over details as well as handing any questions and concerns I had. By the week of the event I was completely confident in all the arrangements made since Veronica made sure to go over everything with me. The wedding couldn't have gone better and smoother. Getting into the venue was easy and all the vendors were able to find the venue. It helps to have that driveway space leading to the door so they had access right to the door to load/unload. Our photographer had a field day with the natural lighting and our guests gave us so many compliments the space itself and how awesome it was. We even had a few people who loved it so much they we talking about having their own parties there. Veronica and Arnold went above and beyond and made this experience a breeze. They even surprised us with a personalized sign that was put in front of the driveway leading guests inside. When we needed anything they were quick to help us the day of too. If I had to provide any negative it would be that we had a few people uninvited come into the venue without our consent during the wedding. We had to tell them to leave since it was a private event. Even though we had a sign that said a wedding was going on, possibly roping off the driveway once the party begins would definitely help solve that issue. That single negative though held no bearing to how amazing our wedding was, how much we loved the venue, and how great Veronica and Arnold were at helping to coordinate the event. DON'T HESITATE TO BOOK YOUR PARTY HERE!!

From management to pay and service, it's a seamless experience. A lot love and care goes in to the preparation of the space before and after events to make sure it is clean and ready to use for the next client. People typically rent the space to host various music events, conferences, meetings, religious gatherings, special occasions such as wedding or bar mitzvah parties and it's even a great spot to film in! I plan to do more events here soon.

There are a couple of more theaters nearby. It was not a big auditorium, we were in an auditorium (James M. Cahill Stage), with a capacity of app 500 folks. The show started on time, with no interruptions, Show went well and, after that, we got a chance to take a photo with Vipul Goyal- that was unexpected. The sound was perfectly balanced and good, with no issues in lighting- that's up to the Showrunners. Even seat arrangments, and view of the stage- it was good. A small bar and snack counter are there and enough restrooms- so it's all there . After the show, there were many restaurants nearby so no hassling in finding good restaurants as well.. we tried chai chenak, and it was good. Parking: either street side or cheap parking is available in parking garages. (attaching photo of parking rates of 'Morris Street Parking garage') It houses two state-of-the-art theater venues and three dedicated rehearsal spaces.

The staff was friendly and attentive, and service was efficient with no long wait times. The drinks were excellent, and the food definitely lived up to the atmosphere. Unfortunately the food and the service both did not live up to what we experienced the first time around. The 3 fish dishes we got left much to be desired, pretty bland. Not sure if we will be back as it no longer was a five star place for us.

Spent the evening in a 2 Queen-bed room. Looked modern and up-to-date; complete with flat screen television, microwave, spacious mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, hair dryer, alarm clock, etc. The bedroom area was very clean and comfortable. Sheets were crisp, air conditioning blasting. Bed was comfortable - perhaps a bit springy but the variety in pillows made for a restful sleep. The bathroom could use a once over - mold on the ceiling above the shower and a very slow-draining sink (basin was full after just one handwashing). Otherwise, had all the amenities I could ask for. The Dove products in the bathroom were a nice surprise. A good amount of ambient noise (such as when a neighboring room turns their shower on and the herd of elephants apparently staying in the room above us) but nothing that kept me up at night over the white noise of the AC. The breakfast included in the stay was serviceable. Dry cereal, oatmeal, fruit, eggs, sausages, a variety of bread products like croissants, toasts, and biscuits, an automatic pancake maker, yogurt, milk (cow and soy), juice, coffee and more! It was incredibly busy and it was clear the employees were rushing around trying to keep up (and primarily succeeding given the chaos). I'd stay here again if the need arose.

Now unto the room. Asked for a king bed and got a queen bed instead. The room really needs to be updated. There are stains in places where there shouldn't be. The pipes make noises when you use the sink. I guess they use dove as the main brand for the shampoo, body wash, conditioner, lotion, and bar soap. Nothing came out of the lotion even though it felt like something was inside. Very strange and deceiving. At least the parking is free for the guests. I don't see myself staying here again.
