There is not a lot of foot traffic, as you might suspect, so if you pop in, you'll most likely have the place to yourself to wander and admire. It won't take you too long, as it is just one room. In addition to showcasing the owners work, they also highlight artists work from all over, depending on what their current exhibition is highlighting. Everything is worth seeing, but I especially loved when they had a photography exhibition. If you are looking for a place to pop into while in one of my favorite towns, you should make Alfa one of your stops.

The show started on time, with no interruptions, Show went well and, after that, we got a chance to take a photo with Vipul Goyal- that was unexpected. The sound was perfectly balanced and good, with no issues in lighting- that's up to the Showrunners. Even seat arrangments, and view of the stage- it was good. A small bar and snack counter are there and enough restrooms- so it's all there . After the show, there were many restaurants nearby so no hassling in finding good restaurants as well.. we tried chai chenak, and it was good. Parking: either street side or cheap parking is available in parking garages. I was looking for a new dog friendly park and Rutgers Gardens fit the bill. Visitors can explore the themed gardens like the Rain Garden, Herb Garden, Bamboo Forest, and Heylar Woods. The gardens host educational programs, a farmers market, and workshops throughout the year. There are a lot of glowing reviews here and I'm not sure if maybe my timing was off or most people don't venture off the main areas here. We parked near Heylar Woods and chose the blue trail which is along the water. The one major thing both me and my daughter noted immediately was the sound of traffic from Route 1 and Route 18. The non-stop buzz of cars and trucks takes away from the beauty of the surrounding nature. Further into the trail the trash all along the water is crazy. Aside from the trash and weird foam along the edges of the river, we ran into some kind of big dead animal in the water. We decided to turn back and check out the Bamboo Forest. It was a little cool out so we decided to skip the short walk and hop in the car. We parked near the field lab. Tucked away behind the building is the small but very cool Bamboo Forest. One big thing to note here, which they do warn about on signs, is the ticks. Me and my daughter came out unscathed but my poor pup ended up with a few ticks (despite the cold temps).

Many of the puzzles involved pushing buttons that have been slammed on over and over again through repeated use. They failed to register so we had issues releasing the clue even though we were playing the game properly. Two of the games were like this which ate up so much time. They give unlimited clues which is great but their system sucked. They had no idea where we were in the escaping process and kept giving us clues we already solved. They can't hear us (or maybe they pretended not to) so it was one way communication. We would wave at the camera and it would take several minutes for someone to type in a clue. Again, so much wasted time. Overall, I would not recommend this place. There has to be better escape rooms in New Jersey right?
