During a recent work trip, we had a team building activity scheduled at Pinot's Palette in Princeton. This was walking distance from our hotel. We had arrived and was welcomed in by our instructor Julia. We had brought in some snacks and wine. Plates, cups, and ice were available for us to use. They had prepared the easel, canvas, paint brushes, and paints that we would be using. Julia began her lesson and showed us our painting that we would be working on. Julia was super helpful and patient with helping us make our masterpieces. I am no Picasso but with Julia's guidance I didn't do too shabby! Overall it was a really fun team building activity for myself and coworkers. This was my first time at a sip and paint and Julia made it so enjoyable. There was also some music playing in the background as we painted which made it more fun. read more

I brought my mom and sister here for a spontaneous wine and paint night and we had the best time. The Artists were so nice and helpful throughout the process. I'm so glad this place is BYOB too so we could drink whatever we wanted (no hard liquor). We came here for Valentines' Day weekend. They were having a couples painting class. The location is BYOB. They provided ice buckets and cups for you in the location. I thought that was a very nice touch. The instructors were attentive and patient. I am not artistic at all but they helped through the process. They walked around and gave individualized instruction when needed. The music was 2000s pop music which I loved. They were happy to take pics for social media purposes. It was overall a good time. We are from out of town but if I lived closer I would definitely come back. read more

Came here with friends for a weekend meet up! Figured we would try something new. I definitely did not find any hidden skills BUT our friend got major kiddos from the instructor. And the rest of us managed to walk away with something resembling Monet's wonderland :) The instructor was super helpful. The venue had everything you needed for your sip n' paint convenience, including ice buckets, wine glasses, and wine openers. All in all, it made for a super fun day! If you dont walk away with a masterpiece, you'll most definitely walk away with an appreciation of what it takes to be artist - def not easy ;) Highly recommend checking it out! This place is BYOB also you can bring snacks, they did leave out some waters and chips for guests! My first time at a wine and paint night and I really enjoyed myself! We came as a group of four and everything was set up when we got there--all labeled neatly with the appropriate supplies. The entire session is 2 hours, but it definitely flew by. Theres a small break in between the hours, to refill on the wine you brought or just stretch your legs, which is nice. Even though I'm not very artistically inclined, they lay it out for you in simple terms and techniques so you leave with a painting that is halfway decent. read more

What a fun experience! I came a little late but the instructor and other workers helped me catch up with the rest of the group. The staff was super friendly and kind. They have bottle openers and wine openers you just have to bring your own stuff. You can also bring food. You'll have a break to allow your painting to dry which is great time to eat or cut a cake for a celebration. Definitely a fun night if you want something on the quieter side. read more

I must say I expected greater customer service and communication in regard to my reservation. I made the reservation for November 25, 2022. Due to family situations that needed to be handled, I had to abruptly cancel. Well, apparently there wasn't anything in the policy for emergency cancellations so I was only given a $60 credit for what I paid. I paid for three people which totaled $127. I found this in an email that was sent on November 29, 2022. So, I questioned the $60 credit and never received a response. I just lost that $127. I know where I will NOT patronize! The managers/supervisors could have at least called to inquire about my situation and show some concern. I guess good customer service is not a thing anymore. read more

Had so much fun here. Our instructor - Kirsten, was so friendly and took us through everything step by step. At first I had to say the painting looked really hard, (and I barely have any artistic skills), but Kirsten made it so easy and fun and my painting turned out so pretty! We rented a private room for my friends birthday and I have to say, we had such an amazing time. We brought our own food and wine, but they had plenty of glasses for all of us. We were a pretty crazy group, but the two teachers were so sweet and helpful to all of us, even providing positive comments and helping us fix our mistakes. I would highly recommend! read more

Really genuinely great. I went with my mom and aunt and it was fantastic. They accommodated us even though we were late and had a great teacher who really went over the basics. Such a great Tuesday night. Easy-to-follow directions and BYOB. As a hobby-artist, I'll always say it should be 3 hours, but I understand how long it takes for the set-up and for people to settle and pour their wine....and then to take a million pictures. I wish I could actually have experienced this place because a friend in red bank went to a pinots pallet and had a great time. I work for a company that has very high demands, so I was trying to get a group of girls together roughly 20 for a night out( from work felt we needed it and could use it) ... Wine apps and painting we come from New Jersey ...Pennsylvania.. So this was a good choice for a somewhat halfway point. The HEADACHE I had to deal with from trying to schedule a private party ALONE was not worth my business! So I emailed them and got a very unhelpful email back. My subject was I want to schedule a private party! I got a lot of well you can sign up for any class you want there are none that are sold out after the 23rd they are on the calendar. I didn't WANT a class i wanted a private party. I got a lot of go to the website answers EVEN when I did clear up what I was trying to do! So she tells me to make a deposit on the website. Okay... 250 bucks which is refundable ( which it was and I have yet to see it ) so I realized I was short on time...so I made the deposit gave a time told them what painting I wanted and we'd be bringing our own stuff. They were VERY quick to take my 250bucka but Not once reached out to me to "confirm" my party and go over the "particulars" so here I am waiting for a call.... Never got it so I called Monday... And then she tells me I have to pay An EXTRA 100 bucks for the room... So let's get This straight ...you want 350 bucks for 20 girls who will be paying 38 bucks a pop and you have really crummy customer service and in the emails you couldn't tell me that I would have to do that? Or the room That was left was the one with the 100 dollar extra fee? ( when I told the girls we weren't Doing it bc of this and the headache they all agreed a little shady) so I called this women to confirm my party and found out all this stuff so I said no thanks... Please refund my deposit. She was almost shocked that I decided no party... So then I get confusing emails. Telling me that she's sorry she tells people they need to reply to the emails and stuff to make this happen but then tells me she's the only one answering emails and she did try to reach me... My phone just magically missed your call? No doubt it! So then I get an email telling me that she can't make acceptions and charge others the 100 dollars but not me... ( not once did I ask her to Waive that fee. I simply said no thank you then) then she's telling me it comes with granite pub height tables with swivel chair backs and a hand painted mural and our very own artist. With a LARGE ice bucket...umm my friends and I would sit in a shed.... I've been to PLENTY of these things with better customer service! I've sat in really nice places and I sat in a place in a small room for 10 on a plastic table.... I stand and i had fun at all of them! So ahe continues to tell me she had 2 people call for that room on that day already. Well then you didn't miss out on any money! So the headache I have delt with ALONE will make me never even STEP INTO that place to paint at a class. I'm sure is a lovely place and I'm Sure it offers a wonderful time but I cannot stand the women running the show! So if you go and have a better experience from the start I'm happy for you already! First time ever at this type of place and I loved it!! All the staff were great, including the owners Kathleen and Michael who were both there all night, the lead artist Brian who was very dynamic and entertaining, and the assistant artist Tracy who was very kind and helpful. This was only their second weekend since they opened and it looks like they've done a really good job. The signup process was very easy and the owner even double checked my seating preference earlier in the day. I'm very happy with all the personal attention and kindness they showed, putting everyone at ease. The place was packed, close to 30 adults and it looked like everyone had a fantastic time. I had never been to a paint and sip before so I wasn't sure extacly what to expect, but once I walked into the studio I knew I was going to have a blast . The inside was SO cute and the staff was very friendly! I hadn't picked up a paint brush in quite a while so I felt rusty but Kirsten, the artist, explained and demonstrated every step slowly and was ready to help if anyone one needed it. She was absolutly delightful, I would love to take a another class with her teaching. We were even provided a meat and cheese platter. Wow, this place is beautiful for starters! I've been to a few other of the "paint and sips" and this one by far was the classiest of them all. I took a class in the main room and the artist was just great--so much energy, helpful, and funny. They also have a private room that you can get your own artist and throw your own private party...I'll definitely be back and try the private party room! read more

If you're looking for a 'paint and sip' in this area -- look no further! I can't begin to thank the team at Pinot's Palette of Princeton for the perfect paint experience. Before my cousin's bachelorette party we wanted to do something with our mom's to kick off the weekend, so the four of us went on a Friday and had a night to remember! I live in NYC and have been to several 'paint and sip' events and this experience takes 'paint and sip' to a whole new level! It's a beautiful space with ample room, beyond friendly and helpful staff and owners, not to mention our artist (Brian) had us laughing the entire time!! They were thorough and helpful with the painting (as none of us are experienced artists, but ended up with a great drawing!) They even surprised my cousin with a special painting just for her that she is now going to use at her wedding!! -- I'm not the type of person to give reviews often, but this place went above and beyond to make sure we all enjoyed our evening and I'm very thankful for that!!
