We had such an amazing experience at Yasaka! The food was absolutely delicious, and Antonio made our experience even better. He was super helpful with recommending what to order, and everything he suggested was amazing! He was also really friendly, funny, and made us feel so welcome. Great food and even better service. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you, Antonio! read more

The food is so great here but the service is even better! Wendy was attentive and kind. We appreciated her very much!

Our first time at Yasaka was absolutely amazing! We came to try their all-you-can-eat sushi and ramen and it completely exceeded our expectations. Our server, Kristo, was the absolute best. He was so attentive, kind, and quick with everything. You can tell he really knows the menu because he gave us the best recommendations and helped us decide what we should try. Every suggestion he made was spot on. The all-you-can-eat experience is awesome because you get to try a little bit of everything. Every roll we ordered was fresh and delicious, and it made the whole experience really fun. I honestly loved everything we had and the ambiance was beautiful. It's also really cool that this is the only place in New Braunfels offering all-you-can-eat sushi and ramen, which makes it such a unique spot to visit. We can't wait to come back and next time I'm bringing friends with me! Highly recommend!! read more

We visited for dinner, and my family chose the all-you-can-eat option. I have a tiny appetite, so I asked to order à la carte. Our server was adamant that the entire table must choose the same option, either all-you-can-eat or à la carte. I let my family know I could not reasonably eat enough to justify the all-you-can-eat, so they agreed to order à la carte, though they were disappointed. This policy does not make sense. It pressures some guests to overeat and prevents others from ordering based on their own appetite. Not everyone feels compelled to eat excessively, and no one should be pushed in that direction. It ignores individual and medical needs, including people managing eating disorders or other health conditions that require careful control of intake. Requiring someone to participate under those conditions feels as unreasonable as expecting someone with a drinking problem to consume alcohol just to match the table. Simply put, it's a ridiculous policy. It limits flexibility and makes the experience uncomfortable for everyone. The food was decent. However, we will not be back. read more

I went here with my friend and husband. The food was great and service was excellent I got a poke bowl, ramen, chicken hibachi and a few of their appetizers including the edamame and the gyoza. So it all tasted great except for myself my husband and my friend we all got sick after eating there. My husband and I suffered from explosive diarrhea immediately after eating the food. My husband had to go at the restaurant and I had to go on the way home. In fact I almost didn't make it home to the bathroom on time. My friend said he also had to go to the bathroom immediately after eating. This review would have been higher had the food not made us sick. I don't think I'll be going back but my husband still wants to since the food was good. However I don't want to get sick like this again. read more

Food is way better than I expected for all you can eat sushi. It's well worth the price. I hope they keep the prices competitive and sushi fresh. Service has been great both times our servers were quick to check on us and take any new orders. Really can't complain at all. read more

We have been here a few times and really love the food! Service is always great and quality is great considering it's all you can eat. Highly recommend! read more

My favorite Sushi spot so far in Texas! I got the all you can eat special ($35.99). Everything I got was delicious, so I'll just name off what I really enjoyed. The New Braunfels roll, Firecracker roll, and Kabuki roll are amazing! I got their sashimi which was surprisingly fresh, and I also ordered Salmon Tataki which was the best thing on their menu! Their drinks are really well made, I got a Lychee Martini ($15) and a bomb shot ($7), which is honestly an amazing price, as you can put in a shot of either soju or saki into any draft beer you want. The servers are super friendly, and the ambience is either a nice date spot or casual place to eat at! I will absolutely come here again! read more

We enjoyed Kristo's service today - she was attentive and courteous, always served us with a smile. We came in for lunch, and the all you can eat price per adult is $24. Today's sushi pieces were clean and fresh quality. The best part of the AYCE is that all items ordered are prepared to order and brought to your table. Love the hot soup and noodle offerings as well, and will certainly choose it the next time in. For sure a great choice for sushi in nbtx! read more

I was stoked to see a new AYCE place was opening closer to me, and I'm very glad we stopped in! On a Monday evening that fell onholiday, we were able to find a seat almost immediately (at the bar so we could watch a game). While service was a bit slow starting off, it was understandable with a change in the servers. Everything else went smoothly and Yoga (I believe his name was) took care of us and was very attentive whenever we wanted to order our next round The sushi itself was pretty good. Not the best I've had by any means, but the portion sizes (especially for the speciality rolls) were very filling and the flavors were great. I was very pleasantly surprised that they had delicious ramen bowls - the kimchi beef ramen was so tasty and welcome on a cold evening. Prices are comparable to other AYCE places I've been to. The only reason I'm docking a star is the dessert was extremely underwhelming. We ordered vanilla ice cream with tempura banana and were disappointed to my handed ice cream still in its cup (and very poor quality at that). The tempura banana was also not very appetizing, which is a shame because everything else was delicious. I'd definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area and in the mood for a decent AYCE sushi (and ramen) fix! read more

Showed up on a busy Saturday for dinner and the wait was about 15 minutes. Both waiter and hostess that helped us were incredibly helpful and very friendly. We started with the spicy edamame (not pictured here), which I'd say was a bit bland but the spice definitely is a progressive slow burn. I would order again anyway. I also had the Karaage ramen and asked for spice. Honestly that's one of my top ramen places now. The noodles were buttery, I've never had that. The spice was perfect, the crispiness of the chicken as well. They were definitely not stingy with their portions. My fiancé had the spicy kimchi ramen and it was incredible. The broth in that was delicious. I'll be ordering that next time. We also shared the cowboy roll and holy moly it was great. It has Wagyu and jalapeños. It had great flavor. We will be trying their all you can eat menu next time. The ambiance was very lively and the atmosphere was cozy. read more

Don't know how this place has a four point rating honestly if you like frozen food, this will be the perfect place for you. I had popcorn chicken for my chicken Ramen the popcorn chicken tasted like the frozen bag from H-E-B. Yakisoba noodles taste like they did not wash the pan you could tell there was fish cooked on that pan before hand disgusting. The fried rice taste gad no flavor. Also the Ramen taste like if it was from the bag you get it from the grocery store. Super overpriced for what you're eating not worth 35 bucks a person. For the Service we felt rushed definitely not coming back felt sick instantly after we walked out read more

This is really good, New Braunfels needs a new place like this. Service is great food is great Bar drinks are great.

The food was amazing!! Everything came out so quickly! Krista was so sweet! Totally worth the money! Don't skip dessert, the fried Oreos are delicious!! read more

Mmm... Vian was our server. He was friendly & had a great attitude. We chose the all you can eat option & he was very prompt in between each order session. I've been to many AYCE places & it always feels like the servers take their time so they can run the clock out. It's not like that here. The restaurant was cool inside & seemed very clean. I really loved the Asian style decor, especially the little umbrellas hanging from the roof. All the sushi was really good, I wasn't happy about the handroll tho, they just took a massive handful of spicy tuna; slapped it on some rice & rolled it seaweed lol. But everything else was great. Even the Tuna Tataki & Habachi. We ordered 2 original mojitos after a couple rounds of food & they were very refreshing. I love that the bartender wasn't greedy with the mint since I enjoy eating it in between each sip lol. We will be moving to Indiana soon so I can't say I'll be back, but if/when we make it back this way, we will definitely add this to our pit stops. Great experience. Thank you. read more

Amazing food a little expensive but definitely worth every dólar , nice servers and good food quality.

The customer service here?? 11/10. My server was hilarious and made us laugh and enjoy talking to him. I wish my food was as good. I ordered the vegetable ramen. While I'm happy for the option. I wish it was seasoned more. Flavor profiles were lacking there. I loved having crispy tofu but had to dip it into soy sauce just to have some form of seasoning on it. I would go back! Just not for the ramen. The inside is nice with umbrellas on the ceiling. It's right next to the Home Depot so still very close to everything in the area. read more

All you can eat and À la carte delicious food. The service is fast and the cooks and servers are working hard. We have waited about 20 min for a 10 person table top. The restrooms, and the restaurant are clean, and inviting. read more

The ambience and servers were great! The food was good, but some of the appetizer items were definitely advertised different than they came. The karaage chicken arrived in small bits of chicken instead of regular sized karaage chicken bites. The shumai was small and the mussels were slightly overcooked. We also ordered the tuna tataki and pepper tataki, which had great flavor but the tuna was overcooked. The sushi rolls and ramen were great! read more

The location, parking, atmosphere, and friendliness are all 10 out of 10. The food portions are quite small except for the actual sushi rolls. The fish had some questionable freshness. We would definitely not recommend the San Diego roll. We asked for the Osaka role and apparently they were completely unavailable and did not have the ingredients to make it which is strange when that's what your restaurant is named after. The Takatsu Ramen was actually very good, but it definitely needed some Sriracha and soy sauce to deepen the flavor and to be a little bit hotter when served. For $32.99 which is the dinner price that starts after 3:30 PM, I would say that the price should be more like $28.99 instead. I'm not sure we got our moneys worth today. read more

This was our first time trying Yasaka. We went on a Saturday night, so the wait was about 20 minutes. They have cute decorations for the season and everything seemed clean. Once we were seated we had to decide whether we all wanted all you can eat or alacarte. We chose the all you can eat because we wanted to try more foods. We ordered and shared a variety of appetizers, rolls, tempura, ramen, and desserts. Service was quick and the food was all good and fresh. We'll definitely go back again. read more

Just opened in New Braunfels next to Home Depot with ample parking. They're set up for reservations on Google but it's not accessible. You'll need to use the kiosk to join the waiting list when you arrive. I have to try it a few times to give my full review. read more

The spicy kimchi Beef Ramen was yummy. I added chili oil because it wasn't quite spicy enough for my taste, but overall it was very good. The waiter was very kind and attentive. The atmosphere was very clean and welcoming. I'll definitely go again. read more

You can order the buffet or a la carte. We preferred to order a la carte . The portions are ridiculous as a kid ration for the whole price.Less than a cup of rice and 3/4 ration of chicken for $18. If one wants to order a la carte all have to order a la carte , they couldn't order the buffet. They charge you if you leave food (what?). The only positive comment is the service is really nice and is the only restaurant open on Christmas day.I will never come back, hope they change. The rolls has 6 rolls included, instead of 8 . The taste is ok, food is warm. read more

Steven was great! We really liked the cold appetizers and sashimi. The rolls were a bit hit or miss but overall good.

My twin girls wanted to celebrate their 15th birthday here with friends and family. We had a large party and the orders were taken and delivered very efficently. The food came out really fast and everyone loved their food. It was really good, almost as delicious as food we've had in Japan. To top it all off, the entire staff of like 12 people brought each of them a plate with a cake and a firework shooting sparks up at least a foot in the air. They all sang happy birthday and one guy played a ukelele. It was the best happy birthday from a restaurant I've ever seen. I highly reccomend this place. Super friendly, efficent staff and really good Japanese food. read more

Great sushi, good service, never rushed, ask for Steven any day but Wed great wait or, try Asahi with your sushi. Love this place

This is the best sushi spot in town right now. The seaweed in the rolls is perfect - not chewy, not too thick. The rolls are nice and tight, no spill out unless you use chopsticks like a toddler. The food came out very fast. I was there at dinner time and they were pretty busy so we had to remind them about one of our rolls but they corrected it very quickly. We had appetizers, rolls and drinks and they were all top notch. I didn't try the ramen yet but the table next to me had some and I thought about asking for a slurp. Definitely going back soon. read more
