As a member of the community, I don't just send out-of-towners here--I shop here regularly myself! It is the ultimate destination for finding items for those hard-to-shop-for people on your list. Personally, I absolutely love browsing through their incredible, curated collection of vintage Las Vegas and Arizona postcards and unique tchotchkes. What truly elevates this store, though, is the family behind it. Anjelica and her sweet mother--who originally founded the shop alongside her late husband--are incredibly welcoming, kind, and genuinely friendly. Shopping here is such a warm, comfortable experience that it feels less like running an errand and more like visiting old friends. I always leave with a smile, a great find, and the feeling that I could just pull up a chair and hang out all afternoon!

The Ugly: *Standard complaint with places like this: Lots of stuff in a not very big space. Always feel like I'm going to knock something over every time I turn around.

There was himself and a cashier/clerk. So i imagine they all needed to go do this??? NOT! At about the same time a white couple walked in and started looking around (no mention to them about going outside). So i gathered my girls, as i continued to look at things in the cases.. taking my time, had girls choose what they wanted, paid and left. Should never give a person like this your money since he thinks people of color would always steal from them. Their loss, i was looking at signs etc i wanted but wouldn't give him more than my $21 i spent, and even that was too much after that experience. Only gave the one star because your required to.
