The people there are very nice. It's ran by a few older women so don't expect a speedy checkout, but expect a very polite one! The selection is huge, and surprisingly well priced for being a small business. They even have this cool 50% off one item in your birthday month offer. I happened to visit for the first time on my birthday month so that's cool. Lots of very pretty glass and real stone beads. This place was Narnia for bead lovers! I didn't want to go to Bead Jungle. I was in the first day of my lady dragon, I didn't want to go anywhere. I am highly unreasonable, very irritable and have a resting B- face on my first day of my lady dragon. I walk in the store with my friend, we were looking for beads to coordinate for a jewelry design we were working on for a workshop event. The first thing I do upon entering was announce to the ladies/staff that it was the first day of my lady dragon and I apologized for my resting B- face. In my case, you GOTTA let people know, it is not TMI. My friend, and business partner, had a lot of questions. I was in la la land surrounded by my fantasy of bead heaven. If I were Scrooge McDuck I would not have gold coins in my vault to dive into, I would have beads. The staff was amazing! Usually in bead places they're a little snooty, or standoffish. They were Hands-On helpful, and gave us a full tour of everything we were looking for. The staff was very sympathetic to my lady issues - I kept wanting to sit down rather than stand to filter through the discount bead bin. Cramps are a MF! They do teach class there, and it looks like they're very tidy in regards to sterilization, with plexiglass dividers on the tables. I attended a silversmithing class here. I'm glad to see a place offer jewelry making classes in Las Vegas/Henderson area. I'm stingy with my stars but this store is great. There is a case with all the class samples to see and hold. The teacher we had was Lori and she was funny, friendly and knows her stuff! I am new to beading and with her instruction I was able to complete my project easily: a pair of earrings. I added a matching pendant using the technique I had learned on the earrings. My husband is an experienced beader and even HE learned some new tricks! I'm afraid I have a new addiction because I found a book there on bead crochet. When we went, it was the middle of summer and the doors were left open, so it was a bit hot. And it's hard to browse when you're in a hurry and it's not comfortable. This is a small store in a strip mall in Henderson. Since it is small, and there were a few workers besides the handful of customers, it was easy to bump into other people. The inventory is pretty jam-packed. There were tables in back, where one could sit down and create their pieces. I like that the leather cord was by the foot or yard (sorry, can't remember). You would bring up the spool to the cashier. The semi-precious stones were well-stocked, but the prices were a little high. Also, there were finished pieces for sale at the cashier/display case. The metal beads were on special- a little baggie for $2.00. It doesn't sound like much but when you buy things by the piece or the pack (8-10), and it's $2.99 and up each, that could add up. I got two baggies and was very happy with that (I still haven't finished them either, BTW. In fact, I would probably buy more if I was in the area, it's my father-in-law's side of town.) I also bought some mini clamps (for stopping the beads from sliding off the cord) for real cheap too. I think that I spent about $7.00 here for three sets (baggies of metal spacer beads and clamps). The people working there were friendly and checked on us from time to time. read more

I went to Bead Jungle with my daughter for the first time yesterday. We were impressed and excited to see the extensive variety of supplies they offer. We observed a class and saw the virus safety measures in place. Then things took a sad turn. The staff at the counter was rude when she answered any of our questions. I am really surprised by a couple of these reviews. I actually live out of the area (California) and when I visit a dear friend 3-4 times a year in Henderson, I can't wait to go into bead jungle! I even have my friend go into this store to buy me items I need and mail them to me! They have offered to ship them to me anytime I need, as well. The staff is so nice and helpful, and they have a fabulous selection of beads and supplies to choose from. Went to this store to buy semi precious stones to make a chakra bracelet. Lady at the counter was not helpful. Actually very rude. It was near closing time and I wanted to be quick but for some reason she wouldn't help me find what I needed. When it was close to closing she only approached me (even though their were others in the store) and said that I needed to hurry because she wants to close. I then said that unfortunately, I didn't get any help and therefore it's taking me longer than even I would like as well. Went to this store once when it first opened and I'm reminded today of why, I didn't step foot into this store. Lost a big sale today $100. read more

This place is awesome! Great selection of beads by the piece, full necklace and bracelets, and everything you need for your own DIY projects. There's an informative section of literature for all you first-timers. Bead Jungle also offers classes for every level. The ladies working there were super friendly and helpful, and the sweetheart at the counter even gave my son his own cute little bag for his beads. A couple of the awesome ladies that work here are also Boxer dog fans, so they get additional points for that. They also have a rewards program for all you dedicated beaders out there. Very disappointing experience. Overcharged me for the service I needed, $12 to restring a bead bracelet! It only needed a string and a few minutes to do it. I can't believe it! I wasn't thinking straight to agree to paying that. Perhaps I had price shock. I definitely had buyer's regret! Bead Jungle is a geart store. A bit expensive, but very good selection and friendly staff. Awesome selection of beading books and mags. They have it all, and classes are great as well. The only thing I find on the down side, is that space is tight for classes. be ready to "bump elbows" with your co-beaders. Beaders night out is a great concept. I havent been able to attend, but the ladies always invite me, and it sounds like a blast. This store is a gotta go to! read more
