We were in the Las Vegas Downtown area and I saw that Art Box was new and in the Container Park area. They are now located on level 1 near the entrance to the Container Park. We received a warm greeting by an artist (she may have been the owner, I'm not sure). She introduced us to her two doggies whom were so friendly and were totally rocking their sunglasses and cowboy hats that their mommy made for them. They were so cute! We looked around at the various local artist booths inside the shop, and we picked up a homemade ring and a Vegas Vickie photograph on canvas. Prices were all so reasonable and we were so happy we could support a local business and local artists in Las Vegas. Definitely stop in if you're in the Las Vegas area and are exploring the downtown area! read more

Nice owner who makes cute mosaic art but walls are plastered in low effort, ridiculous AI generated art and shelves are stocked with overpriced jewelry that the owner marked up prices on 4x more than other places. Some gems but mostly AI slop and jewelry you could get for a 1/4 of the price online or elsewhere. read more

I stopped at Art Box after picking up something at another place in Container Park because it was open and I was curious at what was inside. I rarely go to Container Park and I had never been in Art Box before. The lady behind the counter greeted me warmly as I entered the store. While the store itself is quite small, it's filled with a lot of artwork and craft items, such as jewelry, handmade soaps, greeting cards, and so much more. I began looking around because I wanted to purchase a gift for a friend and settled on soap that smelled like sandalwood. I also browsed the greeting cards. I had a friendly conversation as I got my items rung up and the lady told me about some of the history of the artists who have products in the store. Art Box does not have a website with items for purchase because there are so many one of a kind items, which is a shame, but I get it. I enjoyed going to Art Box and if I'm back in the area again, I want to go back in and explore more. read more

I had my heart set on a piece of art that was literally a heart with a key in it so I purchased it. We are definitely going back the next time we are in Vegas. It was fun knowing that everything was hand-made locally, there were all sorts of different things to be inspired by, and much of it in a very reasonable price range. I was able to buy a souvenir for a friend back home and pick up a few free items too (The business did offer a Yelp check-in deal when I was here!). The loving care that the artists put into all the wares in this small store is great and I'm really happy that the Container Park includes some great things like this unique shop. I hope that this shop succeeds for many years to come and that I can shop here more and more on each trip I take to Vegas. Make sure to check in on Yelp to grab a free glass hairpin made by the owner's wife! Cute and no two are alike! Some nice accessories here! Located on the second floor of Container Park (right side of the entrance) features 30+ local artists' merchandise. Entirely local according to the awesome owner here. From scrabble tile statement rings to glass-blown necklaces and rings, It's an eclectic selection of accessories here. Maybe scrabble tile rings aren't exactly original, but hey you can find them here and not just on etsy or ebay. There's also scarves, knit hats, pendants, earrings, bracelets, and flippy-floppies. They've also got cool artsy gift boxes you can buy for $5 but also gives you a sense that you could make that at home yourself. Artsy postcards/graphic cards are definitely original and one-of-a kind from the local artists around here. Kinda cramped space but again, that's like most of the Contained Park stores. It can seem a bit cluttered with all the artsy items here, but it's fun checking out all the items this way. Great place to check some semi-vintage looking pieces and shop local. read more

When I'm in there it is like my eyes are having their own little celebration at this wonderland of eclectic goodies. My favorite place in the container park. I have a few pieces from this shop. I have a gas mask necklace, Dr who screw driver, and kathulu neck lace. My boyfriend and I were in Vegas for my second time this past week. We stumbled into The Downtown Container Park by accident and fell in love with the place. We ventured onto the second floor after listening to a young man playing an electric violin ( which was wonderful). The items in the window instantly caught my attention. I love to shop but am very selective with my purchases because I only enjoy things I can NOT find everywhere else. Everything in the store was either interesting, cool, different, unique or just plain cool! I got beautiful pieces of jewelry that I have already gotten compliments on. However the best part of my purchases from this store is everytime I put on my robot earrings or my beautiful "orb like" bracelet I smile. the bags painted by the owners wife are simple yet beautiful and again "fun".
