Setting it up I noticed when they unpacked it they apparently sliced one of the cushions with a box cutter. No buyers remorse. We had great experience with customer service. Text messages on order verification, shipping date,arrival to our deliverer (who was awesome) and delivery date and time all quickly under 3 weeks. White glove delivery inspected everything including all the covers for quality and possible defects also at that point I could have refused any of the order if I was unhappy for any reason. We sat in many highend brands' seating offered in our area and Yardbird surpassed in comparison. The Langdon sectional, swivel chairs and ottoman are awesome for style, comfort and value with very thick comfortable foam cushions (sunbrella fabric is so durable- scrubable) with high back and neck support for our 6 ft folk plus ability to put coffee cup on arm . read more

Mold, mold and MORE mold!! If you decide to purchase the patio furniture with the sling back fabric be prepared to clean them frequently to remove the mold. Supposedly it's made of Sunbrella fabric that is meant for the outdoors but my old set from Fortunoffs was made of the same material and I never had a spot of mold after 15 years!!Yardbirds response is to clean them with a mixture of bleach, warm water and dishwashing soap but that's just a band aid for the real issue which is that the material is poor quality. Save your money and buy elsewhere!! If I could give zero stars I would!!! read more

We loved our furniture until we found out it has pfas in its fabric. I can't believe a company that claims to be so environmentally progressive still uses fabric with pfas in 2024. They say they will be phasing them out in 2025-2026, but that doesn't help us. We spent over $5,000 on a couple Luna sets and now have furniture that causes the following: Reproductive effects: Lowering a woman's chance of getting pregnant, and increasing the risk of pregnancy-induced hypertension or preeclampsia Developmental effects: Small changes in infant birth weight, and delays in children's growth, learning, and behavior Immune system effects: Reduced ability to fight infections, and changes in response to vaccines Hormonal effects: Interference with the body's natural hormones Cancer risk: Increased risk of certain cancers, such as kidney and testicular cancer Liver and thyroid effects: Changes in liver function, such as higher cholesterol and elevated liver enzymes, and a probable link to thyroid disease. Lowes, Home Depot, North Face, H&M and hundreds of other companies phased out pfas in products over a decade ago. Don't buy from Yardbird until they make this right with their existing customers. Took five deliveries to get furniture that was not damaged. I loves the furniture but the lack of quality assurance was disgusting.

I ordered a sectional Waverly couch, which is beautiful however the "white glove delivery is misrepresented. Tge couch was delivered and put in place however the clips that secure each section were not installed. The sections now have to be placed by me which I can not do. Every section needs to be upside down to be put on. I'm disabled and elderly. Now I have to spend more money to hire someone to do. Very disappointed in the service!! read more

We purchased a visually beautiful outdoor Yardbird furniture set. I found out after a few weeks that the furniture's seat pads are not intended for outdoor use and are not easily cleaned should food, liquid spills, bird droppings, tree droppings, and any other items that generally find their way on to outdoor dining furniture. Cushion covers must be gently cleaned by hand and air dried. As the material isn't stain proofed, it is virtually impossible to clean the spot and not damage the material. Incredibly disappointing. The good news is that I can purchase an outdoor scotch guard to protect the cushions. Luckily only one side of one cushion is ruined. They should have recommended this before they sold the defective product. read more

I have had a poor2 experience with a Yardbird order and don't feel they were in my corner. I ordered an outdoor swivel chair. I spoke with Yardbird Friday, May 17 and their logistics partner on Monday, May 20 to confirm a delivery at my home after 1PM and arranged my schedule to accomodate. A little after 1 I got a call from the driver of the delivery truck saying he couldn't access my street with his trailer and wondered if I could meet him in some parking lot to get the chair and deliver to my house on my own. My car is not big enough so I contacted the freight company who eventually said that that size of truck wasn't authorized and they would have to reschedule delivery. I contacted Yardbird thinking they might hold shipping partner accountable. They offere me a couple of throw pillows for my trouble. If the piece was nice was going to order several more pieces but won't now. Proceed with caution. Update-new delivery date 6/12, nearly 4 weeks from original scheduled date. read more

Other than the initial visit to order our new patio furniture, the experience has been awful. We got two different stories on the same day about delivery one that it would be delivered by 10:00 AM. Then when they did not show or call as promised they said it would be between 4:40 Pm and 6:30 Pm wasting our time. They never showed nor called. Then the next day they claimed they were at the house at 7:45 pm but no one was home which was a lie. Then the next day they confessed that the truck broke down and that they never made it to the house and forgot to call. When we followed up with our salesperson RJ, he wanted to pass it off to someone else, which he eventually did. Two weeks later they delivered as promised, but it showed up damaged. Called our salesperson and again he sent us in another direction. Very poor customer service. Still an ongoing saga. read more

Oh where to begin. Started with furniture not arriving when it said it would. I emailed before ordering to make sure that it would arrive within a certain time frame and it was longer. Next I was sent a text message saying it was delivered, then given a time window as to when we had to be home for the delivery. We stayed home. and after we were 45 minutes past our time window we emailed, and called. Note it is impossible to get anyone that can provide resolution on the phone. I was then called back by the delivery company that told me that the night before someone stole my furniture off of a truck. Yea sad story I know, but could no one call us and tell us it wouldn't be delivered? Next a manager of some sort called me and told me as well that like 7 customers furniture was stolen, and they were trying to figure it out. I felt like it was a pretty BS story as who the hell can fit 7 things of patio furniture in their truck. Also how would no one notice this happening? But gave the benefit of the doubt and asked what the fastest I could get it would be. Note still no resolution for our time being wasted, and having to wait again. I was told no way it would be the next day, but possibly the morning after. Was told I would get a phone call or a text from that manager. (note they are going from MN to CO.) Next morning I get a call from a driver saying my furniture would be there within the hour. Asked if this was okay... I said sure, this was unexpected but I will leave work and come back to sign. Since I was baffled they could somehow get the furniture here in less than 24 hours I said "man, heard about everything being stolen.. that sucks" The driver stated, no it wasn't theft it was the trucks being unorganized and it delayed the deliveries. Huh... so I emailed the company and wanted an explanation for being lied to, being misled, and now getting inconvenienced again having to leave work for an unexpected delivery. Since this happened, no one will return my call or provide a resolution. I also have sent them photos as my furniture has arrived with paint on the chair, and gouges in the fire table. So in summary they are disorganized, no customer service, and product has potential to be great but it is damaged, and I just have to deal with it. I would take your money and buy something else. After spending over $8000 with Yardbird last fall, and using my furniture only twice before covering it up with Yard Bird protective covers for the winter, I was shocked when I removed the covers in the spring to see that one of the armrests had been chewed through by some sort of a rodent perhaps over the winter. When I went into the store to show them a picture of it, they referred me to customer service where I sent an email explaining my dismay that the furniture didnt make it through one winter without being destroyed. To my shock and dismay, they refused to cover it, and said they would send me some wicker pieces and liquid glue and I could try to repair it on my own. After trying to explain that nearly every backyard in America has some sort of rodent in it, and that their furniture should stand up to the rigors of being outside for a few months, I was completely blown off. They never came through and never offered to replace the corner section, and now Im left with an armrest that looks terrible and will cut your arm up if you place in on the armrest. At the least they should have a disclaimer that if you have any rodent nearby, it likely will not last long. If you are considering Yardbird, know that their furniture (I purchases the Langdon set) will likely not make it though one year without being destroyed, and their customer service department will do NOTHING to help you out. Basically saying "sorry it's on you and we are NOT here to help in any way." Very disappointing to say the least. read more

We are very disappointed in the furniture and in the fact that we wrote a review on their website which mysteriously never appeared. The duplicate one we wrote never appeared either. We received our 4 chairs and called to complain that they looked scratched, like they had been dragged across the floor. We were told they take a wire brush and "texturize" the chairs to make them look like wicker. This only serves to give them a cheap "plastic" look. If I had read the review I am writing now, I would not have spent almost $3,000.00 on these chairs. Very unfair that they screen the reviews submitted to them. read more

I haven't received my furniture yet, so this review is based solely on the front end experience. Whatever they tell you about when you can expect to have your furniture, clarify every aspect of their answer. I was told my furniture would be "delivered in 5-7 business days." I explained why the delivery date was so important to me, and they reiterated that "Furniture is always delivered in 5-7 business days." What they DIDN'T explain was that the furniture would be delivered to the "delivery company" NOT to me. And once the delivery company received the furniture they would "contact me in approximately 48 hours" to SCHEDULE the delivery. NO promises or even time frames for how far out they are scheduling. When I called the showroom to talk to the guy who gave me the initial "delivery" info he "wasn't available to talk" and I was given what was clearly a well practiced response. When I called the delivery folks again, they said "we'll see if the delivery company can expedite your delivery once they receive your furniture. ($8000 worth!) Then, instead of the guy calling me back I received a "form" email response, which I responded to explaining they hadn't answered any of my questions, and got another "form" response. Don't believe anything they tell you about delivery when you order your furniture. Be VERY explicit when asking about the date it will ARRIVE AT YOUR ADDRESS. I live in MN, where Yardbird was founded, and where the current owner BestBuy is based. There was an implication that since this is "home base" delivery 7 miles from the showroom would be swift. I'm already hating this experience and I haven't even gotten my furniture. read more

Disappointed with the lack of communication regarding delivery dates. I ordered multiple pieces of furniture from Yardbird 3 weeks ago, and I cannot get a single person to inform me of an estimated delivery date. I've been in contact with numerous people (only by email because they do not return calls) and I have been told the furniture will be arriving to the MN store in early July? I downloaded the app "Shop" from my confirmation email that tracks order status but it isn't showing any progress. We are spending a good amount of money and I expected more from this company. Visited this store today and was very impressed. I walked in to a well organized, open floor plan retail store that offers a beautiful array of patio furniture. Two things I noticed while walking the floor; First, quality, their furniture is well built, comfortable and will be durable for our harsh summers. Second, the price point for the furniture caught me a bit by surprise. When compared to Crate and Barrel, Room and Board, etc... Yardbirds prices were considerably less. I asked how this could be and was told they design manufacturer, so no middle man. Manufacturer to store... I also learned that the plastics used are from plastic materials pulled from our earth beaches, sustainable! That had me...sold ( now just need the weather to coorperate). read more

I was drawn to Yardbird because of the quality and comfort of the patio furniture sold through their St. Louis Park showroom, But I was greatly disappointed by the "white glove" service--prompt delivery, all packaging removed, furniture set in place. The window of delivery was too broad, and the delivery guys--contractors, not Yardbird staff--didn't remove the cushions from their packaging, and so didn't bother to see that one was wrong. Within ten minutes I realized one of the cushions was wrong; I called the driver and demanded that he take it back, whereupon he responded in an abusive way and hung up. So I called Yardbird showroom, where I was told that I had to send an email with photo to their Customer Service--and not to bother trying to call them. I received a polite email a day later, but it took another three business days to have the right cushion delivered. Showroom, delivery, customer service--all three poorly coordinated, and the customer has to do the work of fixing their mistakes. How does this count as white-glove service? And then a further problem--the size of our purchase qualified us for free delivery, but the order had to be split into separate pieces (in stock vs. backorder) and the free shipping applied only to in-stock. I was told I'd have to drive to their warehouse 10 miles away to pick up the remaining merchandise. More smudges on 'white glove" service. Don't be fooled by the salespeople and the suave minimalist showroom into paying premium prices for such mediocre service. In fairness, let me note that one salesperson--Matt--was as helpful as he could be. And Eric from Customer Service was polite. But this company simply has a very mediocre setup. I would be very cautious about buying from them again. read more
