Worst customer service I have ever had with an company. I saw the planter on an auction. Before I placed bid I called and asked if they delivered? Told "Absolutely" and discussed details of delivery and time line. After paying- told it would be 4-6 weeks because they had to make it (surprise) and delivery would be $200! Weeks past the given date and after paying more than anticipated with NO COMMUNICATION received a text that delivery would be between 12:3-2:30 in two days. I knew I was going out of town so arranged for a friend to be at my house but planter did not arrive. I called Ashley and Crystal for updates on delivery time. They said would talk to delivery men and get an updated time of arrival and call me back in 5 minutes. Almost an hour passed but they never called me back. Finally arrived about 5;00 when I had just gotten home. Great delivery guys, Rick and Dalton, but the planter was not the color shown to me originally! Our purchase experience has been terrible. We were told lead time is typically 2 weeks for an order. It has now been 6 weeks. I spoke to a representative today and she said it "should" be manufactured next week and when it is ready for delivery we will get a call. She even had the nerve to argue how many weeks we have been waiting. Maybe she needs to have a calendar in front of her when speaking to a customer. Terrible communication and follow through. This is an amazing show room. So much variety. I was shopping for a bench, side table, glider, and a rolling cart to double as a table for when our front porch gets finished this summer. I held off buying to take advantage of the upcoming sale. Everything comes in various sizes and colors. They even gave us a sample of the forest green we chose. They have 3 sizes of plant holders too. It would be very easy to impulse shop here, but restrained myself. They offer free delivery, so no reason to pick it up. read more

Squirrels love to eat this furniture. Stay away from this!!! We spent $10k on a beautiful table, 8 swivel chairs, bar table, extra saddle stools and the squirrels have destroyed the legs and table. I'm heartbroken. We've tried everything. It'll be $1,000 to replace the leg pieces. Which even if we did, those would get eaten too. Terrible! read more

I have had chairs, tables and benches for more than 15 years. I live on a prairie and they are outside year around. They still look like new. I have 16 pieces in all. Color is true, sturdy and they don't blow away. They have been great to deal with. read more

I have to agree with William N from Illinois. We purchased a complete table set and would not recommend if it is outside of a fenced area. Squirrels seem to love gnawing on it. Ours looks terrible. Now when we go to parks and see the BTY benches we know exactly why they look the way they do... Good product. But be sure to keep it indoors or within a fenced/gated area. Or put a cover over it when not in use. To expensive to leave sit out in the open. If i would have known this sooner we probably would have went with something else, or put up a fence/gate around the patio to keep those tree rats out. To late now. gnaw marks are to deep to sand out or router out... Learning to live with it... read more

Don't be deceived by their "guaranteed for life" or their friendly, home town commercials on WCCO. I bought two rocking chairs and a table -granted- years ago. They are in terrible shape. They are dirty and pitted and no amount of scrubbing or bleach will clean them. They've been like this for many years. I contacted them and sent pictures. They asked "did you clean with bleach?" - yes. "Did you use a power sprayer?" - yes. When did you buy them? When I said it was years ago, the response I got was "oh, we don't use that supplier any more because we had issues with them". Guaranteed for life? Don't think so. No "sorry" or any offer for even a discount. Every year when I take them out of storage I get madder and madder. So there, I said my piece! read more

I recently purchased two Adirondack-style outdoor chairs and am very happy with my experience. The salesperson was friendly and knowledgeable, took my order quickly, despite it being a busy weekend. I was told it could be several weeks out for delivery (which was very reasonably priced!) but it was delivered much quicker. Delivery did a great job and the quality is excellent. I can't speak about the quality of this furniture because they don't seem to want to deliver what I've ordered. I've been told 3 different yet all very vague time frames for delivery. I called again today to check on the status of my order and the employee was very rude. Never was an apology uttered but justifications were made and yet another delivery time frame given. I have never before ordered anything that a company could not tell me exactly when my product would be delivered. I've never experienced an 'it will get there when it gets there' approach to business. No matter what, at this point I would be frustrated, but if the employee that I talked to would have been apologetic and receptive to my concerns, I wouldn't be totally down on this company as I am right now.
