Just stopped in as I was doing my lap around Arundel Mills Mall. Great frickin place. Large beer list including domestics. Honey Blonde is the house specialty. They have Half Yard glasses which is a large. A pint glass is a medium. Worth it. Didn't try the food but there's plenty of photos and from what I saw looks great. Folks were gobbling it up. Excellent food and customer service. On one visit they comped us extra bowls of tomato bisque since our grilled cheeses were late. This time they comped us an extra margherita pizza because the first one they sent out wasn't up to their standards. They didn't have to do it but they did which is super nice of them, which is why we will keep visiting. They also kindly accommodate my pet ducks on the patio area. Came here for happy hour the other day. First impression, the reception seemed fairly dismissive when I asked for a table. It took a while to be greeted and I was told it would be about a 15 minute wait. I return 20 minutes later and was told to wait another 10 minutes before we finally got a table. After we were sat, we ordered happy hour specials, which you'd think appetizers would be easy to make, right? Our party of four ordered boneless wings, a pizza, sliders, and calamari. Our server was excellent and she stopped by our table multiple times to apologize, but that was overshadowed by the fact that it took almost 40 minutes for the appetizers to come out. By the time it got to our table, everything was barely lukewarm. Wings and sliders were passable, but I'll never forget the calamari which was chewy and firm, kind of like my grandad's shoes. The pizza was neither good or bad, just forgettable. The happy hour special was a good price, but given how long we had to wait and the quality of the food, we probably won't be back for a while. read more

Loved the food, and was most impressed by the waiter-- Jysean. He was super attentive, friendly and got the order perfectly. I tipped 33% because he did such a fantastic job, going the extra mile to make us comfortable. My friend and I split the Ahi Tuna appetizer. That was the softest, most tender tuna I've ever eaten. Like butter! 6 slices that might be enough for a meal if you are eating very light. We both chose the shrimp zoodles-- zucchini noodles in garlic wine sauce with shrimp on top. This is perfect for my very-limited-calories & no-carb diet-- delicious, filling and satisfying for only 470 calories. I took away one star because--- just like many other commenters-- I found the hostess situation was unfathomable and uncomfortable..... It seems they tell everyone its a 35 minute wait, even when the restaurant is more than half empty and my party was just 2. This meant that I gave up on my first attempt. On my second attempt, it was again a party of two, but I decided to wait the 35 minutes. However, we were waiting only 5 minutes before we were paged... And we were sat ahead of very many other patrons who had been there before us-- and we were sat in an area of 3 empty tables that could have been pushed together for a larger party. What is really going on there? Management should address this, imho. read more

One of my favorite places to go which makes it difficult to post one star. I took my husband there today for lunch and we could understand why the bartender ignored us. He truly seemed disgusted by us. He gave us drinks and then would not come back to take our food order. We couldn't figure it out. I wanted to ask, but I was about to cry. The only reason I could think of was perhaps he misconstrued my husband's hardcore, straightedge t shirt as something racist when it's actually anything but. A really sad day for us. read more

Seriously the worst service I've had in the year. Got a pretzel for an appetizer, but the larger parts of it were refrigerator temps at like 40*. Ok. I get it, sometimes stuff happens...we still eat it discarding the cold pieces and tell the server just so they know to maybe microwave it and we turn down the server to talk to the management about anything. Then my beer was never put in. Then the (virgin) strawberry daiquiri came with a giant block of ice in the middle of it when we finally got it as that too wasn't put in. The food was average. Then when we went to pay we were asked if we'd be using the "ziosk" which we said yes but our ticket never populated on it. Then multiple people and the manager are looking for our ticket but they say they can't find our server to ask about it . Eventually someone got it sorted and we finally paid for everything. Which is always great, my husband had the pork chop. The pork was pink in the middle, we don't eat pick pork. The manager was kind and removed it from our tab. I love Yard House, the wings were hands down the best lemon pepper wings we've ever had. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was the pink pork. read more

We came here tonight with high hopes. Well that was shattered quickly. I ordered calamari and when it came to the table it was cold and dark brown and rubbery. So I sent it back and then received a new one and this one was at least hot but was way to brown again. We got our pretzel with beer cheese, the cheese was really good but the pretzel had no flavor at all. I think they need to be taught how to make a better pretzel. Someone needs to show them how! My husband ordered the Vampire tacos. They were just okay. They could of been better if they didn't ruin it with all that sour cream and guacamole on top. It took away all the meat flavor. They should of did a drizzle of each on top or let you dress it yourself. Other than that our drinks were good. A nice lady greeted me when I arrived as did who I perceived to be the manager. Well, it ended there. My food was a simple order. I am not one to complain but I had the lemon pepper chicken wings appetizer and they were friend so hard that my kid wouldn't eat them and the flavor of lemon pepper was not present. My family usually goes to Yardhouse, nice service, good food. But when we wanted to use three of the promotional $10 off your meal cards they give out, the waiter comes back and tells us "the manager said that currently they are only accepting use of one card per table" even though it stated clearly on the back that use was "per person, per visit" and there was only 3 of us (one each). There wasn't even any sign at the front to notify customers about their "updated promotion" or anything about it from the waiter beforehand. We were understanding towards the waiter who didn't have power over the situation; the manager would not accept more than one which was unacceptable. Then looking at the bill and the food we got, the portions have gotten smaller and the prices have gone up. Don't think it's worth coming back for a very long while. read more

This place was recommended to us because of the beer selection. We waited 50 mins to get seated. Loved the music and the vibe. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I had the classic burger and my husband had the cheese steak. We both shared the calamari appetizer. My burger was good but my husbands food was lacking. The calamari tasted good but was quite chewy almost like it wasn't cooked well. We both got very sick last night after returning home. That was a bummer and has left us wondering which portion of the food did it. We also had drinks. I had two margaritas that both tasted completely different. My husband had Moscow mules. The menus were absolutely gross. Pages were sticky and stuck together. I probably won't go back only because we prefer to eat at home and cook our own food. Cleanliness is important! Came here on 2 separate occasions. Their food selection is above par in terms of "bar food". The first visit, I ordered the wings (barbecue and buffalo) with truffle fries. The wings were really good (barbecue better than buffalo), but it was a bit lukewarm. As for the truffle fries, the truffle/herbs were OVERBEARING. I LOVE truffle, but it was way too much and took away from the fries. I think one of the herbs was parsley, and that was also a bit too much. I feel like they put all the truffle oil on the top because the fries towards the bottom had less. The second time I came here, I ordered the poke salad. It wasn't spectacular, but it wasn't bad. It's definitely something I would rather go to a poke restaurant for instead. It wasn't that filling, which may be a plus or a no-go for some people. What really disappointed me the 2nd round was that the beer glasses that I got and my friend got had dried lip marks on them. This makes me question the quality of cleaning they have for their glasses, ESPECIALLY with COVID. Luckily, it was the yard glass, so I was astounded by the size and was inspecting it before I drank. When my friend ordered a yard, he had the same issue, which then questions whether they actually cleaned the glass or not or just rinsed it and put it back for someone else to use?!?! I've given this place 3 chances to redeem themselves just because I love the DC location so much. However, this particular location has had awful service every time and I will not be returning. First two times I sat at a table and the third time at the bar just to get a few beers. Both times our food got to the table borderline cold but after waiting at least an hour to get into this place, we were too hungry and afraid to send it back. The food was okay but nothing I'd ever go out of my way for. Between my wife and I, we've had the chicken nachos (poor portion of meat), the grilled Korean bbq beef (dry, over cooked), the steak bowl (pretty good but overly spiced with red pepper flakes), and the shrimp zoodle bowl (bland other than the flavor of lemon). Our waitress on our second visit, gave us a free dessert because she realized how bad of service we were being given, without us even complaining, which was nice. The third attempt, when we sat the bar, we waited for nearly 15 minutes and were never even acknowledged by the bartender who was avoiding eye contact and acting like he couldn't see me trying to get his attention, because his shift was ending and he didn't want to do his job but rather talk to other patrons who were clearly done and not needing anything. Had to control myself not to go off on the guy, got up and left and will never give this place another penny or ever recommend it to anyone. Disgrace to the DC location. read more

I was super excited to try this place but I was quickly let down. I went here on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm, it wasn't crazy busy. We were seated within 10 minutes. We were seated and greeted. We quickly placed beer and app orders and had nothing but water after 45minutes of waiting. No updates just pass byes and stares. I could tell our waiter was frustrated by what was happening so I felt bad for her. After waiting another 15minutes we just got up and left. An hour wasted and I got water.
