I really wish I didn't have to write this review :/ I have been a loyal customer for years and have always looked forward to my apportionments Unfortunately I received bad service today. I initially came in with short/ medium nails with two lifted gel and one broken finger. The broken finger had happened the night before and I was unable to adjust my appointment that I had made to let the technician know of the issue. When I arrived, I was asked if I wanted to keep the nail that short but I asked for a single nail extension and was told "I don't do that.". After shortening the rest of my nails so that the initial one did not look too odd in comparison I noticed the issues. All of the nails are different shapes, and sizes. Some are very short while others are far above the nail bed. They range from oval to square to rounded coffin. The gel overlay is inconsistent. There are some nails that are flimsy and bend to the touch while others are rock solid, and some have no gel in the corners that can cause easy lifting. When filing down the original gel, the drill bit burnt my nail. I am used to a little twinge, but this hurt so much, I had to pull my hand away. I was very sad and frustrated with the service I received today. It has made me weary.

First time in this new location, looks very clean and nice! Irina was amazing, did a great job on my hands and feet! Love the bright pink ("brand color" :-) Wish more people knew about this dry manicure - pedicure place and give it a try! Much better and safer and cleaner than traditional nail salons.

Medium nail length, color 33 marshmallow

Amazing service! Very detail oriented with very natural results. Be prepared to pay double what you normally would at a basic nail shop but the results do last twice as long and look better! If you are looking for natural, clean, attention to detail... this is your place!

I have been a regular at Yarco Studio for my manicures for a while, but I finally treated myself to a pedicure now that summer is here. Wow, Amanda did a fantastic job!

Russian manicure with poly gel overlay and my signature red polish!

This review is for the eyebrow lamination, tint & shape. I've seen this trend all over social media and decided to give it a try. I grew out my brows for 2 months. Today Tanya did an AMAZING job I am so happy the way my eyebrows turned out. I also get my manicure & pedicures here at YARCO. I've been a loyal customer for almost two years. I am VERY VERY picky and I'm so pleased with all my services here. Do not hesitate to give YARCO a try you will not be disappointed. All the ladies here are so helpful and super nice. Yara the owner is a doll such a sweet & genuine person who runs her business very well.

This is 2 weeks post manicure, usually by this point I would need a new manicure.

Decided to try out the "Russian" or dry manicure and was pleasantly surprised w the results. My manicure definitely lasts longer than my typical gel manicure and the overall look is a lot better. I think it's important to note that the gel setting for the base and first coat BURNS! I thought it was just me but the first time I went another customer made that comment to the tech. I've been 4 times now and it's the same every time. It's also A LOT pricier than your regular gel manicure and takes a lot longer. So prepare for that. This salon is very clean and the staff is attentive upon arrival. After that it's pretty quiet and every time I've been there the only talking I really hear is between the nails techs or if the person they are working on happens to speak Russian. But personally I don't mind a quiet session. All that said, here is my experience(s) breakdown: Cleanliness: 5/5 Ambience: 4/5 (they offer water, tea, etc. when you arrive), the only down side is they have a tv playing what seems like "travel blogger" videos with techno-like music as a backdrop ON LOOP. So if you're there for 60-90 mins and can't tune it out, it'll definitely make you a little crazy Staff friendliness:4/5 (based on above note) Manicure quality:4/5 (one time I had a different, presumably new tech and my manicure was def different, and this last time there was a little bit of "spill") Overall, it's worth trying it at least once and see if it's worth your time and money.

Mary K.

I have had very thin nails my whole life, so I need to keep my manicures maintained in order for my nails not to break often. I have been getting acrylic nail extensions for years and noticed that my nails were getting severely damaged from how rough acrylics are, so I decided to see if there are any nail techs near me that do Russian manicures (since I would get them whenever I was in Russia and LOVED the results). For some reason, Russian manicures weren't very popular in the USA until a few years ago so I couldn't find anyone local to me (in San Francisco) but I found Yarco Studio in Mountain View! I have been coming to Yarco studio since they first opened and I will keep coming back as long as I live in the Bay Area. I drive over 45 minutes to this salon for my nail appointments because the quality of their work and customer service is unmatched! Lena is an amazing nail tech and my nails end up PERFECT after every appointment, I am very picky about my nail shape and I have never had any issues or ever had to come back for a broken/chipped nail. When I was getting acrylics I would need to get a fill every 2 weeks because they looked so outgrown, but with a Russian manicure my nails last 4-6 weeks without any breakage and they grow out so naturally! I noticed my nails and cuticles started to heal with time and my hands are finally back to being healthy and recovered from acrylics/harmful chemicals they endured for years before. The manicures are a little more on the pricey side but it's so worth it once you see the quality and how long the manicure lasts you. Russian manicures are healthier for your nails, they last longer, and they look so much better!

kimberly d.

My feet have never felt so soft ! They spend so much time working on every detail from heal to toe. This is hand down THE best pedicure and manicure I have ever experienced!! Totally upscale .

Helen K.

I heard about Russian manicures through TikTok and have been dying to try one because I am never satisfied with cuticle care at nail salons. I think this is by far the B manicure I've ever gotten in the US. I had the nail tech Hely and she spent about 1.5-2 hours perfectly cleaning up my nails, cuticle, and painting to a perfection with a thin brush. A manicure is $90 but soon to go up to $100 as per their website. You get greeted with a coffee and treat and they have phone cables of all types at each station. My nails were all messed up from lack of proper care and all different lengths and despite how short they were, with the cuticle cleaning and clipping, it made my nails look so much longer. I should have taken a before and after picture- I am soooo pleased with the outcome! They even gave me a little treat as a first time customer. I will definitely be coming back when I'm in the Bay Area!

Cindy L.

Great customer service! They greet you with a beverage and chocolate. And if you're a new client they gift you a cute goodie bag with cuticle oil and lotion, that was a nice touch. Now for the nails themselves... Bema did overall good job with the exception of a few nicks/cuts when cutting my cuticles. I have 4 cuts that still sting. Hopefully that won't happen again at my next visit. But the paint job was good pand very detailed. I tried my first Russian manicure at a diff location and can tell the difference in their technique. This place seems more authentic Russian manicure. Let's see how they hold up. I'll follow up with retention feedback in a few weeks. Overall do recommend this place.

YARCO studio is the absolute best for nail needs. This salon exceeded my expectations. I have always suffered with so much cuticle and any nail salon I went to couldn't get it handled. Russian manicure is the way to go! Everyone needs to come to this nail salon! I drove 1.5 hours for this and I will be returning every 2-3 weeks! read more

I visited Yarco Studio for the first time last week and got impressed by everything! From the moment when I walked in to the beautifully furnished and designed place, I was welcomed by the kind smile of their Admin person, offered coffee/tea/water/candies, the place is beautiful and all small thoughtful details impressed me: you get to the comfortable beautiful chair with the table next to you that has a cute plate for your jewelry, holder for your phone with all type of chargers attached to it, holder for your purse - each and every small detail to make your time there comfortable! And, as a main and most important point, the manicure was absolutely GORGEOUS and performed with the highest quality! I received a gift card for my birthday from a good friend. I had Hely has my nail tech and I went with the manicure + gel (any color). She spent about 2 hours on my nails and did an amazing job. She has a gentle touch and is very sweet. This was my first Russian Manicure and it sure won't be my last. The studio itself is very cute and has a great ambiance to it. I am so happy that European Manicure exists in Bay Area and Yarco studio is top notch in terms of quality. Their service, experience of masters, cleanliness, products are excellent. My only concern is the price, I would love to come regularly but every two weeks the shape of the nails change and to come twice a month it would cost around $400 for gel manicure and regular pedicure. I wish Yarco studio offered some bonuses or discounts for loyal customers like I know one lady who does brow lamination, for every 8th visit its free of charge. Or some discount would be also great. I found it quite surprising how the price for pedicure increased within a week to $10. There should be some sensibility in terms of prices. Other than that I am very satisfied with the service and kindness of the staff. read more

This salon is amazing!! They take sanitation very seriously & it does not smell like fumes. I got the full set smart pedicure with french tip with Lena. She works quick but does not miss a single detail. She noticed I had a broken toe nail & fixed it without me having to ask. The pedicure chair is comfortable & they put a new seat cover after every client. After my service she put down a towel so my I wouldn't have to stand on the floor barefoot. This was my first experience at a european nail salon & I cannot wait to come back, I love everything about this place! They also gave me a gift for being a first time customer! read more

I requested very basic manicure and gel nail polish. It took so much time that we communicate with the nail tech who can't speak English. At some point I gave up and asked them to do only manicure, ended up paying $60 for a basic cuticle cleaning. No hand cream applied, no massage. I went to YarCo for the first time tonight and got my lashes tinted and lifted, and I got my brows laminated as well. Yana was super accommodating when something got a little off with my booking and was able to squeeze in the lash lift. This was my first time getting lamination done or having anything done to my lashes. Also the first time I've let anyone shape my brows in... two decades. She did a fantastic job! The absolute BEST manicure and nail experience I have ever had in my life! Everything from the moment I walked in was above and beyond and I truly can't recommend Yarco more. Especially Sasha!! First, I was greeted so warmly and graciously even though I was late (which I was super stressed about). They offered everything you could think of - water, tea, chocolate, even wine! It was unreal, better service than most restaurants and certainly any nail salon I've ever been to. Sasha was an absolute angel! She's was so so kind and so meticulous and perfect in her work. My nails have never looked so good. From the minute I sat down, she made me feel comfortable. She was thoughtful and went truly beyond to provide me what I wanted. She stayed way past closing to provide me with the most beautiful nails I've had in my life. Any other person would have rushed, but she was just so kind and attentive with her work. The salon itself is also extremely clean, well designed, and so thoughtfully designed to have everything you could possibly need. They take sanitation and cleanliness very seriously. They even let you take your nail kit with you. Honestly, if you're considering coming here - just do it, you won't be disappointed! I wish I could give 10000 stars. Best manicure of my life! I just moved to Silicon Valley from LA and finding a manicurist was stressing me out. I am very picky with my nails and thought I would struggle finding a place that did great work. Yara and ALL the nail techs at Yarco Salon are AH-MAZING. I've been searching for a salon that does Russian manicures for AGES and I am SO HAPPY that Yarco Salon is here. They are so good (and fast!) and the hard gel lasts SO MUCH LONGER than regular gel polish. I was legitimately considering flying down to LA for a Russian manicure before Yarco Salon opened. If you can't grow your nails out or regular gel polish starts peeling off after a week, you HAVE to try a hard gel manicure. read more

This place does excellent job! No wonder they got high reviews. I was just there today for a first time pedicure. The staff are super professional and incredibly diligent with their work. Love the fact that they pay attention to details, ie. They are a bit pricey, but that is expected for the quality of job they do. I will definitely be back here! read more

Please save yourself the time and go somewhere else…read more Extremely disappointing experience. Between the poor skills, lack of professionalism, and refusal to address my concerns while there was still an opportunity to fix them, I would not return or recommend this salon. Shady business practices and dishonest people. I was in the area running errands and decided to get my nails done for an upcoming event two days later. The salon was completely empty, which in hindsight should have been my first red flag, but I wanted to give a new place a chance. I showed a photo of exactly what I wanted and asked if they could achieve the same look with gel. They confidently assured me they could. I also specifically asked how long it would take and whether it would be more than an hour. I was told about 40 minutes and "definitely less than an hour." Unfortunately, the technician I was given seemed either very inexperienced or improperly trained. The shaping was uneven, the filing was extremely slow, and the employee that answered my questions in the beginning repeatedly had to come over to check her work, give her instructions, and even correct some of what she had done. At that point, I politely asked the more experienced employee if she could take over because I was becoming uncomfortable with how my nails were turning out. She refused and told me, "No, it's her turn." This made absolutely no sense to me. There was only one other additional customer in the salon at this point, who was already being helped by someone else. Instead, this employee sat in the chair next to us on her phone while the technician continued struggling with my nails. At this point, we were almost an hour in, and the polish hadn't even been applied yet. When the polish was applied, I immediately noticed that the color looked completely different from the reference photo. I pulled up the photo again and pointed this out. Rather than acknowledging the difference, they repeatedly reassured me that it would look like the photo after another layer. It did not. They continued telling me how "beautiful" the nails looked despite them clearly not resembling what I had requested. At the end, the nails were so poorly done, the color was atrocious and nothing like I'd asked for, and it took 1.5 hours to do gel nails. Worst experience I've ever had. Not only was I disappointed with how the nails looked, I raised concerns multiple times during the service, gave them opportunities to correct the issues, and even specifically asked for the more experienced technician to take over. Instead of listening to me, my concerns were repeatedly dismissed. I ended up having to go to another nail salon the very next day and pay to have the work corrected before my event. Even the technician at the second salon commented on how poorly the original nails had been done. She literally showed my nails to the technician next to us and said "ugly".

I booked a Russian manicure with a "Master Nail Tech" and was expecting a premium experience, especially considering the price point. For a service that starts $100+, I expected both the salon environment and level of expertise to reflect that investment. Upon arriving, the receptionist was friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. However, the overall salon itself felt like a standard nail salon and did not provide the elevated or luxury atmosphere I expected based on the pricing. The bigger issue was my appointment. I had booked with a Master Nail Tech and requested that two of my shorter nails be extended so that all of my nails would be the same length. In my opinion, this seemed like a fairly reasonable request for someone advertised as a master-level technician. I was told that the service would require a specialized technique, additional time, and that my technician was unable to perform it. This was surprising given that I had specifically booked a two-hour appointment with a Master Nail Tech. When I asked whether another technician could help, I was told no one else was available. At that point, I felt the salon made little effort to accommodate me or offer an alternative solution. The overall interaction gave me the impression that my technician simply did not want to perform the service I was requesting. What made the situation even more frustrating is that after leaving, I immediately booked an appointment at another salon. They were able to get me in right away, perform exactly what I had requested, including extending the shorter nails, and complete everything within the same two-hour timeframe. That experience made it difficult to understand why the service seemed impossible here. As a result, I left roughly 15 minutes after arriving because the salon was unable to provide the service I came in for. To make matters worse, there was discussion about charging a $50 cancellation/ no show fee even though I had shown up for my appointment and the issue stemmed from the salon's inability to perform the requested service. Overall, I left disappointed. Between the lack of accommodation, the mismatch between the advertised expertise and what I experienced, and the premium pricing that didn't translate into a premium experience, I won't be returning. read more

YarkoStudio -- a salon you'll want to come back to again and again! For me, a great salon is not only about beautiful results, but also professionalism, safety, service, and atmosphere. And YarkoStudio truly combines all of this at the highest level. The manicure and pedicure here are simply stunning! The work of the ers is always flawless: perfect nail care, precision, attention to detail, beautiful finishes, and long-lasting results. What impresses me most is that the girls always stay up to date with the latest industry trends, know all the modern techniques, designs, and continuously improve their skills. True professionals with excellent taste and a strong sense of aesthetics work here. I would also like to highlight the high level of hygiene and safety. The disinfection and sterilization of tools are top-notch -- everything is organized professionally and inspires complete trust, which is especially important in the beauty industry. The administrators deserve special praise! They are always incredibly responsive, attentive, client-oriented, and ready to help in any situation. Every issue is handled with care, respect, and a genuine desire to help. And of course, it's impossible not to mention the atmosphere -- the entire team is incredibly beautiful, stylish, and well-groomed, like girls from a magazine cover. At YarkoStudio, you truly feel like you're in a place where beauty and aesthetics are loved, and where people know how to create a wonderful mood. A true space of beauty and pleasure! read more

Finally, a nail salon I can trust!…read more After years of bouncing around Bay Area nail salons and dealing with rough technicians and -- yes, I'll say it -- infections, I had honestly started to lose hope. LC Nail Salon completely changed that for me. The cleanliness here is next level. The moment I walked in, I could tell this place takes hygiene seriously, and that alone is worth five stars. I can actually sit back, relax, and enjoy my mani/pedi without the anxiety of wondering what I'll be dealing with medically afterward. That peace of mind is priceless. And can we talk about how amazing this place smells? My husband notices every single time I walk through the door -- that's saying something! The technicians are gentle, attentive, and genuinely take their time. I never feel rushed, and my nails always come out beautifully. It's the kind of care that makes you feel like a priority, not just another appointment on the books. If you've had bad experiences elsewhere and written off nail salons entirely -- please give LC Nail Salon a try. You deserve to leave feeling pampered, not worried. This is my place now, and I'm not going anywhere else!

Their vibe from the outside caught my eye and I made a note to try them out in the future. It was a bit hard to find their menu of services (here's the link by the way: https://www.paintnailbeautyspa.net/en/副本-睫毛) but I was surprised to see that they went way beyond just nails and had tons of other beauty treatments available, including scalp cleaning, Korean micropeels, and hydrafacials. I was also impressed by how late they stay open, which makes it easier to stop by for some self care and relaxation after a long work day. I got the mineral facial detox and my aesthetician, Jesse, did a phenomenal job. Everything about the experience was 10/10-from the cleanliness of the room to the products used and the kindness of the staff. Truly can't recommend this place enough and I look forward to coming back many more times and trying out more of their stellar services. Thank you for taking care of me so well!

The shop is small, but very efficient and very clean! Everyone is very kind, this is an excellent place to get your nails done! Vivian & Tammy really wowed me. Their customer service was just as lovely as their nail work. Vivian gave me the EXACT nail inspo I wanted and checked in on me constantly to make sure I was in love with each nail. Her gel-x application was immaculate. There was no gapping in the gel and nail. I think this has been the BEST application I've ever had since getting Gel-x anywhere. I will remember her work when i go back home and miss it! Tammy noticed that the toe color I chose wasn't the initial color I wanted and she went to go look for me and I appreciate that! The Absolute Gold Standard of Nail Care: Unequaled Skill and Grace…read more I have been to countless salons over the years, and I can say with absolute certainty that I have never met a technician as phenomenally talented as Bermet. Finding her was an absolute revelation. She is the epitome of a true master artisan--incredibly gentle, patient, kind, and deeply meticulous. She never rushes a service, and she consistently transforms your hands so that your nails look and feel breathtakingly beautiful. Sitting in her chair is always a therapeutic, high-end, and deeply pleasant experience. The moment I started seeing her, I thought to myself, "I am never going to anyone else ever again." Bermet recently went on maternity leave to welcome her new baby girl. While I am so beyond happy for her, her family, and this beautiful new milestone, her absence is sorely felt! Trying to find anyone who even comes close to her level of technical mastery, hygiene, and genuine care has proven completely impossible. I wish her nothing but the absolute best during this special time, but her magnificent work is deeply missed. She is truly irreplaceable!

The salon is well-equipped with comfortable massage chairs that both look and work great. There were a few small areas that could use light dusting or repainting from normal wear and tear, but overall the experience was excellent.
