I had both manicure and pedicure done with her, and both times she went above and beyond doing great job! She is a nice person in the first place and a meticulous and careful professional! This salon converted me from builder gel manicures to Russian manicures. The salon was spotless and I love how meticulous my nail tech was. However, the removal of my cuticles was quite painful and my nail tech didn't even apologize when she got too close with the e-file and simply dabbed green skin protector on the affected areas. I rarely get manicures and pedicures, but my friend recently visited this studio and was very happy with her pedicure, so I trusted her recommendation and booked an appointment for myself. Originally, I planned to do only a pedicure, but later decided to add a manicure as well. After booking, I realized they also offer a four-hands appointment, which is such a great idea for saving time. I really loved the atmosphere in the studio: very cozy, welcoming, and relaxing. They also have a very clean bathroom, which I always appreciate. Another nice touch is that they offer coffee, tea, and water, which made the whole experience feel even more comfortable and thoughtful. Yes, it's not the cheapest place, but you really pay for the experience, atmosphere, and level of care. My pedicure master was Elena, and she was wonderful: my feet felt baby-soft after. My manicure master was also great (I later saw her name on their website, I believe it's Poly), and I was very happy with the result at first. The only reason I'm changing for a 4 stars instead of 5 is because less than a week, I noticed that the polish on my fingernails started to look dirty underneath, which never happened to me before. I'm not sure if it was the polish or the application, but it was a bit disappointing considering the price. Overall, it was still a very pleasant and relaxing experience, and I would come back. Update review! I had a horrible experience and would not recommend this salon to anyone. First off, I was denied a second coat of polish inspite of me asking for it, the first coat was barely visible. At $90, I should be able to get a second or even a third coat of polish if I wish. But what really took the cake was when they claimed I had fungus on my toes in front of other customers, despite my explaining that my toe nails are naturally darker due to a health condition. It was rude, humiliating and unprofessional. The owner requested a doctor's explanation via email, to validate I didn't have a nail fungus! That's a FIRST in all of my years getting my nails done at ANY salon! My nail tech "Ira" was also rushing and didn't speak English, making it hard to communicate what I wanted without having to get a translator. I feel that my nail tech was rushing to get me out the door and onto her next client. The owner talked over me demanding how right she was about everything. She offered me a 20% discount on my manicure, but no apologies. Needless to say, I won't be back, and I hope this review saves others from a similar experience." I've been getting my nails done for years but this is undoubtedly my favorite nail spot in the Bay Area -- both the founder Yara and all her technicians are always so sweet. I'm someone who struggles to find nail salons who take the time to do detailed cuticle work (my nails grow out very quickly so this is a must for me). However, this is one of the few places I've been able to find that do an immaculate job prepping the nails and cutting the cuticles. The technicians always take the time to make sure every detail is perfect and my nail sets always get compliments even though I choose simple colors because they do such an amazing job. I visited YARCO Studio in Los Gatos for a KART Pedicure with a Master technician. I had hoped to book with a Top Master, but none were available, so I went with the next level. The service was scheduled for almost two hours, but I was finished in nearly half the time. While I understand that dry/e-file pedicures are different from traditional spa pedicures, the experience was not relaxing or enjoyable for me. It felt very clinical, and at times uncomfortably so. The technician, I believe was Anna, came across as detached and wasn't able to explain the tools she was using when I asked. I tried to make small conversation, but she remained very stoic, which added to the discomfort. The highlight of my visit was actually the receptionist. She was warm, friendly, and provided great customer service from the moment I walked in. Based on the strong marketing and the premium pricing, I expected a much higher level of service and professionalism. I booked this as a birthday/anniversary treat for myself, so I was disappointed that the experience didn't meet expectations. I later received a birthday discount code by email, but I decided not to return. Interestingly, when I mentioned my experience to someone at my regular salon, they said they felt the same way... lots of advertising, but the service itself didn't live up to the hype. 3.5 stars. Amazing front desk service. I was greeted and offered a drink. I took a caramel cappuccino and the girl who checked me in was very kind. The place is clean and their tools are also very clean. Everyone there is very professional and there's lots of natural light and it's a beautiful studio. I had gotten a fantastic pedicure from Natasha 5/5 prior so I was excited to come back to get my nails done. I picked Sasha bc Natasha and everyone else was booked till next week. Sasha did not partake in small talk but did asked me about nail shape and color. They focus on your nails instead of talking with you so in that way I felt valued. I just watched a movie on my phone with my AirPods and she went to work. I know it always hurts a little when they push back your cuticles but this time it's still hurting as I'm writing this review. It hurt when I showered today and it hurts when anything touches them. My cuticles are slightly swollen from being pushed back too roughly, and most of them are painful to the touch and feel a bit raw. Where it was pushed back too roughly, is slightly more red than others. I also had to tell her the drill was getting hot on my nails, burning me as she was taking off my gel. Besides the cuticles work and removal, Sashas application was very skilled. I am very satisfied with the gel application and it is perfect to my liking. I just felt paying 100+ tip and requesting a top master, I shouldn't come home with painful/raw cuticles. Also the mani says 1 hour and 20+ minutes but I was seated around 2:10 and done paying by 3pm. Was I rushed? I will most likely still come here since the application is good and I loved the pedi but I might request a different technician next time. Hopefully the cuticles will calm down and won't get infected or further inflamed. Will update if anything gets worse. read more

I was instantly offered a complimentary drink--7 to 10 options! I chose a cappuccino with almond milk (delicious!) served on a branded tray with two little chocolates. As a new client, I also received a thoughtful welcome gift: hand cream and cuticle oil in branded packaging. Even the restroom felt like a boutique hotel--spacious, beautifully designed, with everything you might need (clothes tape, hygiene items, etc.). 2. The treatment itself was flawless. I booked a simultaneous manicure and express pedicure (toes only). I've tried this in other salons and didn't love it--usually awkward and uncomfortable. But here, it was a completely different experience. The pedicure chair was the most comfortable I've ever sat in--fully adjustable, ergonomic, and easy for both technicians.
