I came for an evaluation of a loose molar, which Dr. Li said sadly, must be taken out. After that part, their administrative staff also gone over with me necessary treatments, and how the implant installation works per step, and also how the insurance, and my own payment, will cover it. They also advised me the amount of possible pain for each step, which to me, was tolerable. Even though my general dentist only noted the loose molar, and referred me to the periodontist, Dr. Li also recommended additional work in other areas once the molar implant is done. It shows me she cares more about her patients' dental health than general dentists. I do look forward for my implant result, and work on the other areas as well.

Bad Experience at This Dental Clinic…read more I had a very disappointing experience at this dental clinic and feel it is important to share it so other patients are aware. 1. I had a dental implant done at this clinic, but it later had to be removed due to severe pain. I do not feel that the potential risks or complications were clearly explained beforehand. The entire experience was very painful and frightening. 2. The clinic was out of my insurance network, but this was not clearly communicated when I called to make the appointment. Instead, I was only told about the financial details after I had already arrived and was seated in the clinic. Patients should be informed about insurance status before the appointment so they can make an informed decision. 3. I was charged additional money for a very simple procedure (just placing a loose crown back in position). The cost felt unreasonable for such a minor treatment. 4. A full-mouth X-ray was taken even though it did not seem necessary in my situation, which resulted in additional radiation exposure and extra cost. 5. The financial staff member provided an explanation about the charges after I sit in the exam chair. the discussion felt somewhat forceful and made me uncomfortable. It did not feel like there was much room for open conversation. Overall, the lack of transparency regarding insurance, costs, and treatment decisions made this experience very frustrating. I believe patients deserve clear information before treatment so they can make informed choices about their care.

All he said to me was "you don't need a root canal, just need more rest and this filling came out so let me patch it up" and guess what, I haven't work on that tooth until this day. He is not a gentle doctor but very precise and skillful. He sometimes yell at assistants but I think that's because he is quick and hard to keep up with him. He pulled two of my wisdom teeth, it was clean and quick, he used so much force I don't think my previous dentist has the strength to do. The intraoral camera is awesome because Dr. Willis can show you where the problems are. I like the fact that he also takes his time to review everything with you. I discovered Hsieh Dentistry thanks to my wife and got to work with Dr. Willis Hsieh. He's super informative, patient, and educational in how to take care of my teeth. He explained to me my options in terms of issues I had with my teeth (deep cleanings, wisdom teeth erupting, etc...). He was never pushy about a procedure, and simply gave his recommendation and what was urgent that should be taken care of. I came out knowing more and feeling secure. He was also quick, yet gentle/thorough with cleaning my teeth as well as replacing an old chipped filling I had (got it ~10 years ago from my old dentist) which started to decay my tooth. Fortunately, we caught it pretty early on and I didn't need a root canal. Everyone at the office is really kind and sweet. The front office, who's ran by Wendy, was very patient in explaining how my dental insurance works and everyone there from the dentist, front office, and assistants were professional and made me comfortable in every way.
