I've been going here for a long time. The entire staff here is excellent! Dr. Reishi and Dr. Bhatt care about their patients. Dr. Reishi helped me with an emergency when my crown fell off. He made my new crown with excellence & love. The receptionists- Areceli and Jenny are attentive and helpful with questions and appointment booking. My new hygienist is Shirley, she is awesome! Dr. Bhatt found three cavities in the same visit where I have had only one in my life. I have never been "scared" of dentists visits until I went to see Dr. Bhatt. Originally, I had two cavities that needed to be filled. These were shown to me on my first visit in January with picture proof that looked enough as though they were in fact cavities. I returned in March to have them filled. I got several calls in that time period and their office was extremely persistent in trying to get me to come in even though I had let them know that I would follow up with them to schedule my next appointment. During the filling, I noticed that Dr. Bhatt took a very long time drilling my teeth. To the point of where I started to internally question how much tooth he was actually drilling away while my mouth was open. I recalled that the actual cavity was just a thin hole. Half way through, he shares with me some "bad news". He says that my cavity had infected the adjacent tooth. They take pictures. What I saw was that he had drilled a ridiculously large hole in my tooth. Looking at this was enough to make me feel I wanted to pass out. As there is a large unfilled hole in my mouth, I feel pressured to make the decision right there to also have this adjacent tooth drilled and filled as was being pushed by this dentist. Following the procedure, he immediately LEAVES without saying anything. In the end, I was charged maximum price for three cavities. My fillings were amalgam which had a very rough and unnatural texture, and I had cold sensitivity for the next three months where I eventually started to avoid eating with the treated side of the mouth for a period of time. I have gotten another dentist to look at my fillings to find that 1. Part of the filling has already come apart from the tooth. 2. Porcelain fillings last longer and this was an option I was never given. 3. After testing it with air, my drilled teeth are STILL very sensitive after more than 6 months. 4. He was VERY invasive and did a rushed job on my teeth where he had to completely "rebuild the walls" between them, as they really SHOULD NOT have been done at the same time due to different rates of the resin drying and shrinking. Get a second opinion on cavities before you get them filled by Dr. Bhatt. It may save you more trouble down the road. read more

All they're trying to do is take your money and find imaginary cavities that are not there. Please read about my horrible experience with this dentist office. I was a patient at Jay Bhatt office and stopped going there about two years ago.. and let me tell you, I go to that dentist every six months for a regular check up and every time I go they do x-rays, which I know it's not needed because everywhere else they do it once a year, since it's not healthy. On top of that every time I go for my 6 month check up they find about 6 cavities, like how couldn't you see that last visit which was six months ago and you did x-rays "Thieving much". Then they started talking about taking my wisdom teeth out because they're still there.. they weren't impacted or decaying, Dr.Mckay insisted on taking them out and I let them take my top wisdom teeth out and after they took them out they were like oh they were completely healthy, but it's better to take them out since everybody take them out.. well they were healthy and not impacted why did I pay $600 for that !!!! But guess what, it gets better.. my jaw starts to pop very loud every time I eat, and it still does till today. I asked Dr.Mckay regarding a gap I had Between my canine and my front teeth on my lower jaw and she said that there is a procedure to saw the bone on my jaw to get the teeth close with each other and close the gap, since braces are not optional in my case. Like a full on surgical procedure, That's when I decided to turn around and leave and not come back again to the trash of a dentist office. I'm going to A new dental office now and I'm so happy with them I go there every six months they don't do x-rays every visit yet every other visit in their orthodontist Is great, he put braces on my teeth and told me whoever informed me that I need to saw my jaw to get my teeth close together needs to have their license revoked because it's a bunch of bull crap read more

Dr. Bhatt prescribed a procedure and, because I am a patient who thought she could trust a medical professional, I listened and received that procedure. No one told me this procedure was optional or gave me any alternative. My insurance denied the claim as unnecessary. The request was submitted 3 times and I was denied coverage all 3 times. I ended up paying a large sum for something that wasn't absolutely necessary. This experience felt more like buying a car from a car salesman. When I go to a medical professional, I expect going to someone I can trust, who doesn't inflate his diagnosis to get more money. I understand dentistry isn't black and white, but who should I trust in this case? My insurance company who reviewed the same x-rays and information that Dr. Bhatt did and concluded 3 times that I didn't need the procedure or the dentist who did it anyways and pocketed the money. Why am I not giving it 1 star? Because the office was clean and the staff did seem professional. I just trust my insurance provider more (and that says a lot). read more

Staffs, doctors, and hygienists are very friendly and professional. I have had a several appointments and I am fairly new and I feel comfortable being there and talking about dental concerns etc. when they numb your mouth/teeth for deep cleaning etc, you almost don't feel a thing. And the numbness goes away fairly quickly without any pain afterwards. The location is perfect as well. I switched insurance and wanted a dentist near my home and work. Found a ton of dentist in Diamond bar and started yelping. I decided on Dr. Bhatt and it was a great decision. I went in for my check up. I was there for about 2 hours but everything was so thorough. He explained everything to me in great length. He saw I had built up tartar and did a tartar cleaning (which added to the length of my stay). It was very easy to make my next appointments. I am very happy wit my decision to switch dentist. I would not recommend this dentist went in to office was the longest wait ever, waited for over 2hrs for a exam, dental back office girls in the back loud talking among themselves did not even ask if I was OK -- just waited ,Finally Dr came in seem disoriented did not seem like he was all there , when I asked questions didn't seem to understand what I was saying, Did not like this place, Also front desk girl with brown hair was on phone it seem to me like she never put phone down did not greet me in a friendly tone just opened up glass window and gave me papers to fill out, After 2hrs being there came up to front and she was buried on the phone , this is so rude put the phone down didn't they train her to do this. Never will i go back , next day found a new dentist in area was so pleased with there services and felt like I was being attended to and didn't wait for over 2hours for services. read more
