I have been dreading finding a new dentist since moving to the area and getting new dental insurance but glad I found Dr. Seleit's office! I have Aetna DMO and my choices were limited to a lot of chain offices that I didn't want to go to. Liz did most of my scheduling and it's crazy how she remembers me even though I only came in a couple times! Appreciate the little details like that. She's very good at her job and gets you in and out with no fuss. I came in to get a filling filled and a well needed deep cleaning and both were covered by my insurance. The staff that took my X-rays, set up the rooms and did my teeth cleaning were all kind and asked many times along the way if anything was uncomfortable. Christine did my deep cleaning and even though there was a lot to do, she minimized the pain as much as she could and was nice to talk to. What I appreciate most about Dr. Seleit is that he is straight forward. He will tell you his recommendations but he will not try to upsell any services. My dread always comes from dental offices trying to tack on every kind of charge they could but they did not do that here. This dentist office is amazing. All of their staff is very professional and friendly and it's just such a nice and clean place inside. I've been going there for years and they always work with me and my insurance and deal with contacting them for approvals and other issues. All i have to do is show up! Liz works at the front desk and she is very helpful and informative about their procedures and appointment setting. You won't feel rushed but more comfortable feeling. Once you enter the office it smells so calming. I am not sure if its a lavender scent but it sure makes you feel so relaxed. I have been seeing Dr. Seleit for a couple of years now. I have nothing but great things to say about him, his office and his staff. His office is very clean, well decorated and comfortable. Definitely very much appreciated compared to most boring and dull offices. You almost feel like your in someone's sitting/living room. Been coming to Dr Seleit for over 3 years. Never have to wait more than 10min to be seen. The staff is amazing. I broke my front tooth crown on a Monday morning they squeezed me in Monday afternoon and had a temp put in immediately. They saved me !! The girls are so very sweet and make you feel so comfortable. The office management is incompetent and immature. They are unable to process paperwork with insurance companies and respond to questions by getting frustrated and hanging up. Very rude and unprofessional staff. Their equipment is outdated and is unable to capture images properly. It took over 30 minutes to capture one image. So let me start off with saying I am deathly afraid of the dentist, so my first visit I was nervous hands shaking and sweaty but Dr.Seleit starting working on me I didn't even notice what he was doing than we were done, PAINLESS he is so gentle and informative the whole time he was letting me know what was going on. The ladies are the sweetest and welcoming not only that I never wait more than 5 min to be seen! Yesterday was my 3rd visit and we needed to do a root canal and a temporary crown, I was so excited to come in even the Assistant was shocked hehe but its honestly because I was not afraid anymore Dr.Seliet made me realize I do not need to have a fear but its also because he is gentle. This review is long overdue as I have been a patient here since the previous dentist owned the office. That being said, I am beyond thrilled with Dr. Seilet and his entire staff. Since my first encounter with him, he has been nothing but warm, understanding, and accommodating. He takes time to listen and he ensures that you are well schooled in his findings. Dr. Seilet actually went above and beyond for me by contacting my previous dentist about some work that needed to be refunded. After much hassle, Dr. Seilet managed to get a refund for me. How many other Dentists would do that? That refund in no way benefited Dr. Seilet. He did it all for me because he believed it was the right thing to do. As I have always stated before, the staff can make or break an experience. Liz, the office manager, will undoubtedly be canonized as a saint.
