For being fairly new in the area and organic. Most of the products vegan and It's amazing. They started from a farmers market and worked their way up. My daughter loves hummus so you can imagine her face when I took her there. I originally heard through the Placentia buzz group on Facebook which had a lot of great reviews especially on local businesses. We were able to taste the products before we bought them and the pita chips are made fresh. So you can't beat that. Highly recommended they sell out fast so check them out.

So I ended up buying some of their product only to find pieces of roach inside. See these pictures. When my daughter bit in she had an unnecessary crunch

HUMMUS! I wasn't a big hummus fan until I tried Yalla's. Yalla's hummus are fresh, creamy and just DELICIOUS! Store bought commercial hummus are nothing comparable to theirs. You can really taste the different herbs and veggies incorporated in their hummus. I stock up weekly at the Lakewood Farmer's market. Haz (owner) and Jay are very friendly. They value your critique and review and improve their recipes accordingly to your tastes and expectations. They have many different choices and very often they bring out new flavors to see what is popular among the crowds. Also, you have to love the complimentary samples. You can taste before buying! Prices are reasonable for taste and freshest ingredients. -1 for $5 -3 for $13 -5 for $20 My favorite items and a must try are: HUMMUS: -Cilantro jalapeño -Spicy hummus -Black bean chipotle -Garlic and chives (very garlicky ) -Artichoke and spinach Tzatziki -Original (yummy) -Jalapeño (hint of spice) New items I am trying this week are Mint and Habanero Hummus and a bean salad. You're first introduce with the hint of mint which makes it unique then, boom, the habanero spice kicks in. BEWARE...this is spicy! I LIKE. But if you can't eat spicy then keep away from this item. Next, the bean salad consists of corn, carrots, peas, kidney beans, chickpeas, chopped jalapeño and green onions. This item is my least favorite, so most likely will not buy. The veggies taste frozen or rubbery to me, probably from soaking in the lime juice. Can't wait for next week!

Amaizing hummus! Some of the best I've ever had! I came in because I have food allergies and their products are Halal, vegan, non-GMO and gluten free. The staff here is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They offered me multiple samples and explained the ingredients in each item. They make thier hummus and pita chips will olive oil and no preservatives, unlike the brands sold at the market that use canola oil. The pita bread is so soft delicious. We literally cannot keep it in the house for more then a few days before running out. Yalla has taken a fresh approach to hummus and incorporated so many amazing flavors into this traditional dish. I am so glad they opened up a retail location! Shop small and support this local business!!! Warning: you will be ruined for all other hummus once you've tried Yalla!

I love the Hummus it's so creamy and tasty! Perfectly balanced flavor I've had the Cilantro Jalapeño , Garlic and Chive , and the Classic but the best one is cilantro jalapeño ! With the pita chips !!

Yalla humus now has a store front for all your hummus goods. Omg, they have so many flavors to choose from. After sampling them all, I left with all kinds of hummus that I never knew existed. I didn't even know there's such thing as a chocolate flavored hummus(a must try).

    Fantastic place!

    Is this place currently open?

    Yes, absolutely now in Irvine

    Is this place still here?

Yes, now they opened in Irvine

Is this location closed for good,I see pick up is no longer an option😔?

Yes, they opened in Irvine again and today was my first time trying it from the past few years highly recommended with the new menu they just added.

Is your shop still open? Came by at 3:30pm on a Thursday and the place looks bare. Hoping to try this hummus everyone raves about.

This great hummus was carried by a small Persian Market in Anaheim Hills. Not sure if it’s still there as I found it too far from my house to get to.

Hi, are you guys still open? I stopped by 1/16/2020 at 11am and it was closed. Which farmers market can I find you at?

Yes, open in Irvine and they have a new menu must try

Are they at a farmers market on Sundays? If so, which one?

They are at down town Santa Ana on Sundays.

Are they at the farmers market in Bixby knolls in long beach on thursdays?

I know they make the rounds of farmers market daily but not sure if that one specifically... sure if you call them they could clarify! Good Luck!

Is this place still open?? Drove by on 2/5/18 at about 3 PM and the place looked boarded up and closed down.

Hey Sandra, hope you're having a wonderful day. I would like to apologize about the hours, we are still semi-opened. Our hours are 10-6 for now however, at times the employee makes emergency drives to the farmers market to assist with supplies. This… Read more

For two, we ordered the "individual portions" of Mandi Chicken (young chicken roasted with Yemeni spices) & Lalamb Haneeth (a roasted young lamb that falls off the bone). These were both served over a large platter of Mandi rice and came with Yemeni sauce and yogurt. It was expertly made, yet still gave us the warmth of a homestyle meal. The generous portions resulted in a second meal for me! On a Tuesday night, this place was quite packed with friends and families. It seems like wonderful place to host parties or business meetings. Someone nearby us had a birthday, and a group of staff came out with a dessert, blasting a traditional birthday song over the speakers and encouraged the whole restaurant to clap along! Despite the large gatherings, the restaurant is a no-reservation spot. They have a covered patio outside to seat an overflow of customers in case. Thankfully, my boyfriend and I were seated right away. They had a contactless menu, and we scanned a QR code to check our food options, but a server took our order and offered great recommendations once we waved him down. I would love to come back and try other dishes, like their grilled chicken or lamb--as well as the desserts and teas !!

I don't like writing bad reviews for small businesses, but we were almost SCAMMED. 1. It was so hard to get the servers' attention, even when pressing the ringer button at our table. They completely ignore the ringing sound every single time. 2. We had to ask for basic things that should have been provided already before we asked. They served us the salad without any utensils or plates. We had to ask for the sauces that were explicitly written were part of our meal. And every single time we had to ask, we NEVER received an apology. 3. This was the last straw cuz at this point, it felt like we were being targeted. They charged us for an extra lamb dish that costed more than any of the dishes we ordered. When we brought this up, NO APOLOGY.

From the moment you walk in, you already see people walking out with boxes on boxes which tells you everything. This is the kind of place you come to eat and to cater. They do have plenty of seating, but during peak hours it definitely gets crowded and packed. A true sign of how loved this place is. The ambiance adds to the experience too. I especially love the Middle Eastern paintings on the walls. It gives the space a warm, cultural, and authentic feel. First off, the bread. All house made and incredibly fresh. You can taste the quality in every bite. From the dough to the toppings, everything feels intentional and authentic. The spinach pies... absolutely next level. Spinach packed generously and bursting with that bright, zesty lemon flavor, mixed with onions and olive oil. Perfectly balanced and so satisfying. Muhamara had a nice kick today. It had a medium spice level with just enough heat to keep things interesting (and honestly, I love that it varies a bit. It feels homemade every time). The cheese manaeesh is a WOW. The cheese blend they use is so good. I'm lactose sensitive and somehow never feel bloated after eating it which says a lot. And the safiha... You can literally taste the depth of the seven spices, with a hint of cinnamon that ties it all together beautifully. Everything is made to order. So yes be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes. But trust me, it's 100% worth it. Quality like this takes time. What really seals the deal is the people. The owners and staff are beyond welcoming. The kind of place where you instantly feel like family. I've become a regular, and every visit feels like coming home. Authentic, fresh, flavorful, and made with heart. Don't sleep on this spot.

The $5 eggplant meze came in a large to go plate with pickles but also dry (how?!?). The $3 meat pie was cute but nothing special or nothing a proper pastry place can't beat. My order came with the traditional bag of pita (which is nice but all legit places do this); I'm only mentioning this cause I thought this changed with $3 pita side option on the menu. I have to preface my review by saying that my father is a Moroccan Amazigh (aka Morocco's version…read moreof Native Americans in the US). Naturally Moroccan food is something I grew up with, a comfort food, and something I am a bit critical of. I've dined at many Moroccan restaurants domestically and abroad. I've left pretty much all of those restaurants feeling that the food was average. Today Casablanca became the exception. My sister booked a reservation for Mother's Day and I was looking forward to a Moroccan meal at a restaurant I hadn't heard about. My expectations weren't high due to my prior experiences and Casablanca quickly surpassed that bar and every meal exceed my highest of expectations. We ordered bastilla with chicken and almonds, a honey lamb tangine, lemon chicken tangine (one of my favorite meals), couscous with a mix of skewers, lamb sausage couscous, sea bass, Baklava, crème brulee, stuffed dates, and ice cream. It's often the attention to detail in the simplest components that typically make something special. From the texture of the couscous to the lemon chicken sauce and how the green olives absorbed the flavor was perfect. Bastilla is a very tough dish for me to like due to me preferring savory over sweet. Finding the balance of the flavors is difficult and often what is missed. Today was the first time I went back for more bastilla outside of when my aunts cooked it. The lemon chicken was incredibly flavorful and the chicken was cooked perfectly. the Royal Couscous had various skews that were all delicious and tasted how you'd expect it to when the Moroccan aunties are getting down in the kitchen. I'm not a big lamb guy, but the lamb here wasn't gamey and fell off of the bone. The rest of the meals and desserts were equally delicious. The owner is an Algerian Amazigh and the staff was Moroccan and French. It is obvious they have a passion for what they do and truly care about their clients. My father speaks Tamazight, Arabic, and French. So he was able to speak to all the staff in their native language. The love and care they showed was wonderful and I'm sure they show this same warmth to all of their clients. I love out of a suitcase for work and get to try food in countless places. LA can spoil you, but it's often the holes in the wall that surprise you and not the trendy or more formal restaurants. Casablanca was an exception to the rule. It just became one of my favorite restaurants in SoCal. Thank you to the owner, friendly staff, and chef for making it even more special for my mom on Mother's Day. P.s. my mother is a Chamorro that has cooked Moroccan food for the last 40 years and is overly critical and as mentioned before my father is Moroccan. Both her and my father left the evening singing their praises and had some left overs when we got home. Sorry this was so long, thanks for coming to my ted talk. TLDR I'm Moroccan went with my Moroccan dad and we both think it's the best Moroccan restaurant we've had in years.

I have no clue what you are talking about with your "blackmail" comment, but that's a pretty big accusation that has nothing to do with me, so I would be very careful with that. I didn't agree with the service charge or entertainment charge or whatever you want to call it, but paid it and am not disputing anything. 2. Exactly which part of my review is inaccurate? The amount of time we had to wait? I can prove it took that long. The fact that you didn't bring out food for two of the people in our party even after waiting THAT ridiculous amount of time for our food? Um... can prove that too. That you felt this weird need after I already told you that I got your explanation to keep coming at me with your excuses? I have witnesses for that. Nothing "inaccurate" about my review. 3. I gave you that the food was delicious. It was. It was better before and I don't know what happened from that time to now, but regardless it was still delicious. HOWEVER... it was sour and mushy by the next day. My husband ate some and ended up sick from it. I wasn't going to mention that, but I guess I can now. 4. As a business owner, don't be so arrogant to think you are perfect and learn from the feedback your customers give you. As I stated, we loved the experience the first time. LOVED it... enough where we gave glowing and rave reviews of your place to friends and family and anyone that would listen. Enough that we drove all the way from San Diego up to the restaurant for dinner because it was THAT good. Take that feedback and try to figure out what went wrong and make changes to keep your restaurant successful.
