We had a reservation at 8:30 pm and weren't seated until 8:40 after arriving 10 minutes early. There was only one host working and a line of 5 reservations waiting to be seated. One of these tables happened to get their starter before we had even been given a drink menu (they gave us food menus to start). It took another half an hour for us to get our drinks and put in our food orders. When that did happen, one of the appetizers we ordered was sold out. (I know this happens, but they included it on our bill at the end of the meal). When our entrees did come out, they brought the wrong entree for my girlfriend and she had to wait another 20 minutes for her food (sashimi). All told it was almost 3 hours from the time we were seated until we were able to pay the check. I'm sure some people would not mind not being rushed, but when this length is due to your table largely being ignored and continuous mistakes being made by the staff it is very frustrating. All we were offered was a "we are very sorry! This is not normal. Please give us another chance." I don't see this happening as our customer experience was so poor. The only reason for this being two stars is the food is actually good as well as the ambiance. And although that combination is a majority of the experience the service and professionalism was so poor I can't in good conscience recommend this establishment to anyone.
