If you've had real asian food before please don't come here. A weird mix of asian fusion tapas... it would be best to stick to traditional Spanish Tapas. Too expensive for a strange array of food. Rice and noodle dishes are not good, grilled meat skewers are served with overly sweet or salty sauces. Please avoid.

I came here with my partner on a Tuesday night, and the restaurant was extremely quiet so we were able to get a table right away. The overall service was slightly slow, and the food was just okay. One dish that stood out to me was the ramen...It stood out to me because it was not what I expected in a ramen. They used really thin rice noodles, the broth tasted like home made Chinese soup, and the meat choice was odd. The other tapas we ordered were mediocre. The skewers were tiny and overpriced. The crispy pork bao didn't actually have crispy pork in it. We even confirmed this with the waitress to make sure it was the right order. Overall, I think there are opportunities to create a fusion menu that's more tasteful. Stick to more traditional Spanish restaurants if you're looking for tapas.

Nice place and good service. Like the idea they put ice and beer in the middle of the table. Highly recommend the red tuna. Other things are good, too. Except the ramen is not real ramen that's kinda sad.

Great Izakaya! The spot is cool, the decor is really nice and the staff is friendly. On the food side, the eggplant and duck confit were amazing! My only disappointment was that the food lacks of kicks and I found a small rock in a plate for which I almost break a tooth. Besides that, I strongly recommend it.

This place was okay. Nothing really special and if you're a tourist, I suggest to try something else and not make the same mistake as I did. I mean the food was decent although it didn't really stand out or gave a lasting impression. It's just a weird combination of Spanish and Asian cuisine.

In Madrid and really have not found the perfect gem. Good place. Good tapas. Bad service. Maybe because I'm American the service wasn't what I expected. If your ok with a tapas bar and typical beer then good place. If your looking for a full meal I suggest walking down the street a little more. Four stars for the food and menu.

A nice change of pace from the traditional Spanish food found in Madrid. Still heavily Spanish influenced Japanese fusion. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend sharing as each skewer is only about two to three pieces on average, similar to a tapas style. My personal favorites of the night was the eggplant tempura, artichoke Au gratin, crispy sweet and sour chicken, and the grilled banana w peanuts and toffee.

Very nice place! Went here expecting small Japanese restaurant but it's very huge restaurant that doesn't have Japanese style atmosphere(?). Great foods and friendly staffs. Interior is so neat and cool too. Would recommend this place to everyone!

Nice lunch here. They have tapas that are one or two pieces from the grill and a variety of other items. Always good to reserve in Madrid but we snuck in just before the rush. We selected from the fish, chicken and pork sections. You sit down and there are beers chilling in buckets of ice set into the table. You can stash your backpack or purse in a stool next to the table with a lid. It's a cool atmosphere, trendy and the waitstaff wears green jumpsuits while music plays and you can write on the walls. Food was good and comes in waves so you have time to relax and eat.

you're served your beer almost immediately

I truly have to highlight Pepe, Franco, and Grace for taking the time to speak to us and get to know us. The food was FANTASTIC. We ordered the seafood paella, jamon iberico, garlic shrimp, and sangria. The paella was filled with a ton of flavor which was DELICIOUS. Everything was fantastic, but the Sangria was spectacular, (probably one of the best sangrias I've ever had). At the end of our meal, Pepe brought us two liquor de Limon shots, which made our whole night!! Definitely recommend this place in the La Latina neighborhood. You won't regret it!

It has that classic bustling tapas bar energy where everyone is close enough to feel like part of one big conversation. The food was the highlight. The clams were flavorful and fresh, the octopus was cooked beautifully and the paella was delicious. It is a great place to stop in for a drink and a quick bite, especially if you want something authentic and lively. When we visited, it was packed to the point where you were shoulder to shoulder with other guests and close enough to easily hear the party next to you. It adds to the charm if you enjoy that classic crowded European dining atmosphere, but it is something to keep in mind if you prefer more space.

StreetXO is Dabiz Muñoz in his most unbridled, borderline wacky mood…read more If DiverXO, the master restaurateur's three-star Michelin flagship, is the meticulously choreographed tasting menu with white-glove precision-- a culinary journey meets Alice in Wonderland-- then StreetXO is the same brain turned loose. A sort of rock 'n' roll meets 90's arcade meets "Big Trouble in Little China". It's louder. Faster. Beautifully messier. And all by ingenious intent. You don't just come here to eat. You come to get swept up and swept away by it all. The inertia is felt the moment one walks inside. The space is edgy and playful, like a grown-up video game that never grew out of its chaos. There's even a swing at the entrance for adults to sit in and take Instagram-worthy photos. My wife and I have, twice. Indeed, there are other options. One might partake of gentler balcony offerings, or tuck into one of many inside nooks in the ample lounge-bar area. But if you want the full StreetXO shenanigans-- heat on your face, hisses of searing pans, perfume of spice and smoke in the air, the full-force theatre of it all-- then plant yourself at the monster octagonal counter. Mirrors line the salon wherein patrons dine, so that everything and everyone can be caught munching, savoring, swigging, laughing, and relishing as if in one big, faceted, reflective stage. An open, inviting kitchen isn't just a floor-plan design. It's a deliberate showcasing of a culinary orchestra at the top of its game. Every movement is in synchronicity, firing out plates with a speed resembling chaos until the beholder realizes it's more like choreography. StreetXO's soundtrack is part of the engine. Music is loud-- thumping with a rotating mix of techno, EDM, and sizzling club beats that would never permit the room to settle. Sonic energy soars with a feverish tempo set by the kitchen. Fast hands ripping streams of tickets and flicking flamed-licked skillets. Bass-lines pound out rhythms as woks crackle and fire leaps from grills. Somehow it all seems perfectly synced: volume, velocity, and vibrancy. Epic dishes appear in front of mesmerized diners as if teleported by magic. The bar is lively, even frenetic. Yet it is an entertaining vibe. Chefs move with haste and purpose, never stopping, never drifting. Flames rise and fall in a sort of hypnotic dance. Smoke curls up and disappears. Oils shimmer in coppery pans. Every station feels alive, like the whole place is a bundle of kinetic pulses refusing to die down. A lead chef in all-black cooking attire anchors the momentum. Around him, staff in mint-white coats navigate through crowds with deft and focus as part server, part air-traffic controller. Plates glide in and out, darting like fragile doves through a storm. And over everything, you hear it again and again: "Voy, voy." It's the kitchen's heartbeat, "coming through", in a never-ending relay. Then you start noticing the precision lurking within all that speed. A tray of perfect seasonings arrives briskly. Bowls and plates are finished with remarkable acuity. No casual splashes, no guesswork. The runner in white handles each plate with steady grace in the middle of mayhem. And the tray is gone before one fully processes what one has just witnessed. Food is alluring, loud, colorful and flavorful-- unapologetically bold, like StreetXO. Management doesn't want you to eat politely. It wants you lean in (with full force). Indulge with enthusiasm. Use your hands. Embrace the messy joys. Duck Dumplings are the perfect example. They are presented on paper placemats, clearly meant to be eaten with fingers. It's a good form of primal. Crispy, crunchy outside. Soft, buttery inside. So delicious it resets your expectations mid-bite. Crab dishes are standouts, too. They disappear faster than planned because every forkful dares another. And then there are the Short Ribs. The mantelpiece. Forty-eight hours of slow heat make it deep, rich, and comforting in a way that feels unfair to everything else on the menu. While StreetXO moves at warp-speed, this delectable delight doesn't rush for anything. It's the star of stars. Even the drinks match Street XO's attitude. One smoky cocktail in particular stands above the rest. Smoke up front, with hints of cherry underneath. It is emboldened and dramatic. Yet curiously balanced and nuanced. The Nam Phrik brings a sharp, spicy-orange hit at the top that awakens everything else. By the time the meal ends, one is satiated, but also buzzing. It's as if you earned a siesta but don't want to take it. You want to keep indulging your senses. That's StreetXO. The cerebral, sophisticated DiverXO's more streetwise sibling. It's not for the timid. It isn't high-concept. It's high octane. Street XO is Madrid's knee-jerk response to full-contact lunch or dinner. And it is as much a spectacle as it is spectacular!

Shout out to my Yelper, Regis K., for recommending this spot. It made for a memorable night…read more I love the nightclub scene and this place offers that kind of ambience. The Techno music is loud so just be aware of that. I loved it and couldn't stop dancing in my seat. It is first come first serve. Regis told me to go as soon as they opened. Even then, we got one of the last seatings by the bar where all the action is. It was so much fun seeing all the chefs and sous chefs shouting and working in harmony. Our server was amazing in recommending many of the dishes and drinks. I also got a kick out of their cool straight jacket chef's attire. One word to describe the food here; it is very avant-garde (Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Singapore). Our favorite dish of the night was the Vieira Asada (scallop with a green sauce). Honestly, I don't think you will go wrong with any of the items on the menu. Love how they describe each dish as they present it to you. I also never had the bartender come by and take the time to describe the drink in great detail. Truly an amazing unique meal from start to finish. I do recommend that you get a bit dressed up. And don't forget to take a fun selfie on the leather cushion swings. 10/10 Experience
