Both the ambiance of the restaurant and the food were fabulous. The second you walk into the restaurant, you're transported off the busy street and into a beautiful and whimsical environment. Love plants, crystal chandeliers, and a grand staircase. There was a lovely bar area in the back as well. We ordered many plates to share with the table which is the way to go. With a chic ambience that isn't too over-the-top and friendly service, Sushita is a great place for a dinner date or a nice night out with friends. The sushi is pretty good and I appreciate the variety on the menu. That said, I'm giving it 4 stars because the piña colada I tried didn't hit the spot. It tasted sickly sweet and the flavor of alcohol was a bit strong for my liking. Also, our group repeatedly experienced issues with the payment machines that added unnecessary stress to the experience. Of the four of us, none had experienced anything like that before in Madrid, so we left confused. Otherwise, if you're in the mood for sushi, I'd definitely check it out. But I might head elsewhere for drinks. read more

Wow, wow, wow. We just kept ordering because each dish got tastier and tastier. One of the best dining experiences in Madrid, period. I can still smell the truffle noodles; do yourself a favor and have three. Some of the best ceviche I've tasted, not to mention the presentation was superb. read more

Really enjoy the sushi here. I was pleased with each roll I got. My favorites are the quinoa roll and the spicy tuna. Each roll was very unique and had great flavor. I started with the ceviche and the edamame. They also have great mojitos and I enjoyed the decor of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend making a reservation if you are trying to go on the weekend. read more

This sushi cafe offers very good food. We had 4 rolls and they were super delicious. I can agree a bit that the service needs to get better. I think they just need to be a bit more proactive (efficient). I felt that the waitstaff don't have tables assigned, therefore I can see that is a bit of a problem.The services was courteous and very friendly, I loved the ambience. My friend and I came here for dinner without a reservation. We quickly got a table and menus but our waitress had quite the attitude because we were American. Even when we would only speak in Spanish, she would respond only in English with a bad look on her face. I had dinner here with my family on a Thursday evening around 7 pm (non typical Spanish dining hours) so we were told they only had sushi available since the kitchen was still closed. That was no problem for us since sushi was what we were craving. We ordered 5 different rolls and every single one of them was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Langostino Spicy and the California roll. I can honestly say this was one of the best sushi places I've tried worldwide. Props to the sushi chefs. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was due to our waiter. I can only describe him as a jerk. Whenever I had a question, he would answer with some smart ass answer. My sister took a picture of me during dinner and he literally snickered at us. At one point, he stopped in front of our table, not to ask if we needed anything, but to admire himself in the decorative mirror behind us and FLEX HIS MUSCLES. You can't make this stuff up. All in all, the restaurant has such a cool, modern vibe, the sushi was exceptional and the chefs were so nice. I will definitely return and take some of my girlfriends for a nice dinner, but hopefully we'll get better service. read more

Definitely not your traditional Japanese restaurant. Lots of good food combinations that end up tasting great!!

Try the California roll or the spicy tuna!!! Both were great! And it's located in a fun part of the city! I only had wine but I looked around and people were drinking unique fun drinks!! It's a great place if you're in the mood for quality sushi! read more
