We've been walking by waiting for this place to open. It was busy on Friday night. The other days we passed by, it only had 3-4 tables full. There was a 10% special off your check for their soft open. Terrance was a great waiter and cooked all of our protein. We had the spicy pork belly, bone in short ribs, and the steak which was 10% off. It came with unlimited banchan including seaweed salad, potato salad, kimchee, broccoli, cucumber, and daikon radish. We had like 4 refills of everything but they ran out of broccoli. Service was slow in the beginning. Many people were commenting that once you are seated, then there's at least 20 minutes where you are waiting for them to get the iPad with the menu. The problem is you cannot order from the iPad but it is there to show you the price and items. There are 2 very black bathrooms that are clean. Since it is Downtown MV, there is parking on the street or in the back. Our bill came out to $120, but I'm sure that at most Japanese BBQ places, it would have been $150-200.

Saw this place was soft opening on social media and were really excited to try this place out. We walked in on a Saturday ~5pm and were seated without any wait. The interior itself is very modern/upscale at first glance, but the details within the restaurant made it a pretty unpleasant experience. The plates keep spinning while trying to eat from it, we had to hold it down with one hand consistently to be able to eat without the plate spinning around. We were also seated relatively close to the door (the second table from the door), which was probably the most unpleasant part of the experience - with every entry/exit, a huge gust of wind would blow all the smoke right into our faces, the dishes on the empty table next to us would all spin with the the wind, and the door would slam loudly shut. We got the beef tongue, Aus wagyu tender meat (10% off special that day), and Aus wagyu ribeye. We had originally wanted the LA kalbi ribeye but it was out that day, and we were recommended the Aus wagyu ribeye instead. Honestly, both Aus wagyu options were pretty tough to eat (we self-grilled to be cooked medium/well done). The beef tongue was our favorite of the 3 options. Portion size looks small at first, but was definitely enough for the 2 of us. The side dishes are very much like what we usually see at KBBQ, but all weren't that good (compared to the better KBBQ places in the bay). The staff were extremely attentive and helpful, shoutout to our server Jeffrey. Other staff members also came by throughout to proactively offer us to change grill and refill side dishes, which was a highlight of the overall experience. We ultimately rushed through the meal to leave as soon as possible due to the door/wind situation. Overall, the price (with an additional 10% off entire bill for soft opening) was relatively reasonable (~$95 after tax, pre-tip). The meat quality and side dishes didn't really impress us, but it was still nice to try a new restaurant in the bay.

Service is good. But they are not trained well to grill the meat. Not coming back. Basically burnt the a5 jap Wagyu beef.

Great experience during their soft opening. The staff were super attentive and friendly, always topping off our tea without us even asking. There were 4 different sauce options. We tried a bunch of different meats and everything was tasty. Great location in downtown mountain view with ample parking nearby. They've got beer, sake, and soju too if you're drinking. Overall, amazing food and great service-would definitely go back. :3

Not worth the hype, honestly. The meat turned bitter after grilling, which completely ruined the experience. I rather choose ayce wagyu in milpitas over this place for grill by yourself Or better yet, go seorai or gooyi they grill the meat for you -- the BBQ quality is honestly better than here.

One of the best yakiniku experiences in the Bay Area. The quality of the beef was amazing -- super tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every cut tasted fresh and premium. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the whole dining experience feel welcoming and smooth. The atmosphere is clean, modern, and perfect for both date nights and family dinners. Their sauces and side dishes paired really well with the meats too. Definitely worth the price for the quality you get. Will absolutely come back again. Highly recommend trying the wagyu selections!

The melt in your mouth short ribs

I went to the soft opening of this restaurant with my father and it was amazing! Once I walked in the staff greeted me then guided us to our seats. My father and I ordered quite a bit of food and it was worth it! I want to highlight the short ribs, it was so tender and juicy, it basically melts in your mouth! The rest of the dishes were also delicious! It was also nice that staff cooked for us. The restaurant's decor was also unique, I really liked the bubble shaped lights, the fishes on the wall and just being clean. I will definitely come back again with my friends or family!

Amazing food and great service. Server Christine were very knowledgeable, professional and kind. Highly recommend this place!

It's on the smaller side for a restaurant (maybe seats 30?), making it a super cute spot for date night. We opted for the 17 course omakase and it did not disappoint. The timing of each course was perfect. Even though the chef was also making nigiri for a table of 4, my husband and I never had to wait very long between each piece. One of our most memorable bites was the A5 wagyu. It's grilled on a Japanese charcoal which added a nice smokey flavor to the juicy pieces of wagyu. The kisu tempura was also very delicious and as always, the nigiri's were *chefs kiss*. Each piece of nigiri was perfectly seasoned and incredibly well balanced. If you haven't tried Hiroshi yet, you're definitely missing out. Highly recommend trying Hiroshi at least once if you like omakase. My husband and I are already looking forward to our next visit.

Note that their menu changes based on availability, so it won't be the same each time you go. Service was welcoming and pleasant, and each items were fresh and well-prepared. Their sushi counter, made out of the keyaki wood, is gorgeous! A good spot for a date night. +17-course omakase +pleasant service

It included 10 pieces of assorted nigiri, 15 pieces of sashimi, tekka maki, a California roll, shrimp tempura roll, plus 2 chef's special rolls. Everything tasted super fresh, like you can tell the quality is there. My absolute favorites were the salmon rolls (I could've eaten those all day). We definitely overestimated ourselves and couldn't finish, so... to-go box it is Overall, such a great experience. The order was ready within 15 minutes and before I got there. I went there on a Sunday evening around 5pm and the place was not full. It is a bit confusign to find, it is on a small street behind Co-America Bank and situated in a strip mall, there is plenty of parking. They had a 2 for 1 specials and so I got 2 orders of the Shrimp Tempura Roll for the price fo one and I was shocked at how small the quantity was, you get 6 pieces with an order for $12.95, see attached photo. I was greeted when I walked in and was attended to immediately. The interior is welcoming and you walk into restaurant with the chefs preparing the sushi to the left and seating in front of them and several tables. There is no outside seating. Not only was the portion small but the shrimp part was tiny, it was mostly rice and not very tasty. The Miso Soup was hot and satisfying. It cost $2.99 You have to ask for utensils, they do not provide automatically and I appreciate that. I might give this another try if I am in the area but I would prefer to check out other sushi places and see how the quantity and prices compare.

The house made chips resembled ruffles and the ceviche was actually very refreshing. I couldn't stop taking bites out of it. Hints of citrus plus tomato, cucumbers, this was the perfect appetizer for clearing the palate before a meal. Ankimo - Monkfish liver, this dish was decent. The ponzu really shined and it wasn't fishy at all. Also oddly refreshing. The liver tasted like a paste almost. Sake carpaccio- Smooth, sweet, and light. The salon was nicely seared and tasted wonderful. Yakiniku Kochijan- The pizza crust was light and flaky and the cheese had an amazing cheese pull. The kimchi was subtle but it was definitely present in flavor. Jako Mentaiko Meshi- Dried fish and cod roe clay pot rice. The rice was super crispy and the dried fish had a ton of flavor. When mixed in thoroughly with the rice it just brings out the essence of the fish and the flavor. Overall, a solid spot!
