No we did not stop here to see the snakes, crocodiles, birds and butterflies. I don't like to see caged animals anyway. We made this stop at this Unli (eat all you can buffet) place upon the suggestion of our van driver/tour guide. The place was not air-conditioned but was well ventilated, and it had a souvenir shop adjacent to the restaurant. Never mind the animals. We didn't even know it was a mini zoo until we were ready to leave after lunch and saw the big sign outside. We were famished hungry animals ourselves, having been to Chocolate Hills and the Tarsier Sanctuary. They had about a dozen or more dishes to select from, all covered in plastic wrap, so I was confident it was clean. They even had a fruit/desert section. I was surprised how delicious all selections were. I had to go back for seconds to try as much as I can (except for the stingray dish, which I never had but should have). The dishes were freshly and deliciously made just llike my grandparents did when we visited them, a little bit of food nostalgia there. The restaurant staff were very accommodating and friend, patiently explaining what each dish was. It's not a fancy high end place but I highly recommend this as a stop before or after visiting Chocolate Hills. read more
