Great relaxing cruise along the loboc river, with serving buffet. Choice of food was good.

This cruise is a must-try experience to have on any Bohol trip. The price of admission for the buffet will be well worth it. Not only will you have gotten your money's worth on just the food, but you will also have the river cruise experience, live singing, as well as the cultural sharing program to go with it. Not a lot of tourist hotspots in the country offer this kind of all-encompasing experience covering food, music, and culture immersion. The singing and dancing station towards the end of the cruise was very wholesome and is such a joy to watch. It feels like the whole local community is involved and taking part in welcoming guests and tourists visiting the area. There is also a part of the show where any guest can take part in the dancing of the tinikling (folk dance with the use of bamboo sticks). I strongly recommend the Loboc River Cruise. I know that whatever fee that I paid for will go long towards supporting the livelihood of the people and the development of the area.

    Yummy Filipino buffet!

Good food, amazing staff, live music and Filipino dancing. Add on top of that peaceful and scenic river cruise (talk about IG moments) and what a great way to spend the an hour pver lunch when your visiting bohol. I have seen a lot of vloggers taking this cruise while researching my trip and I was not impressed. Because of this I was sceptical about this part of our day tour to the chocolate hills. But after taking the river cruise I can say that I am glad I did! Please remember to tip staff and performers beside them doing a good job, even the little we can offer as thanks goes a long way. Only downside I experienced is that the river cruise gets pretty busy so there can be a wait after buying tickets

I would recommend to experience this at least once. We had a great time. It's P650 per person and the menu is set. You eat as much as possible but if you don't finish it, you'll be fined. There's pancit, shrimp, caldereta, vegetables, pork entrees and dessert. The lunch cruise lasts about 1 1/2 hrs. There's a live band and a photographer. Also, there's traditional Filipino folk dancing.

Great activity and lunch in Bohol! We participated in the Loboc Riverwatch Floating Resto, as it was part of a day-tour package that we bought for Bohol. After you get your ticket, you're assigned where to sit and can start getting your food soon after. Food is a Filipino buffet and it was quite impressive. There were a lot of Filipino classics like pancit and adobo, but had a good variety of different items, from seafood entrees to veggies and fresh fruit and desserts. It also included cucumber juice and filtered water. For purchase, you could buy pop or beer. There were a lot of people on the boat, so food would run out, but they kept refilling the buffet, ensuring everyone left the boat tour full! The food alone is worth the money. On the boat is a live band where the singer sang many American and some Chinese songs, and asked the audience to join him in singing. At one point of the tour along the Loboc River, we even stopped where there were Filipino dancers and singers who performed for us and asked us to dance with them. It was quite lively and fun to watch. The hour boat tour goes by very quickly. You get great views of the villages and greenery along the Loboc River. Best views from the boat are at either end of the boat for taking pictures since the boat is full of patrons at dining tables on the sides. I would recommend doing a boat tour while in Bohol.

A must try when you visit Bohol. Food are delicious but not much selection. More on meat so if your a vegetarian, you will have salad. Live band. We passed by a Gotosa -Balsam Dancers. We saw some tourist zip lining. It's fun when you come in a group.

If it wasn't for tourists clamoring to get the "Instagram-worthy" pictures or families bumping into you with their SDLR, GoPro AND iPhones trying to take the same exact pictures, this would be more relaxing. But despite all that chaos, it was the most relaxing part of our Bohol day trip - cruising down the river, eating a buffet lunch (food was decent) with a nice breeze. The only thing missing was a hammock to take a nap. I wished it was longer than an hour though. Their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/RiverwatchFloatingResto/

Once we arrived for a late lunch we were the only ones there. The menu had classic Filipino dishes, and when we attempted to order a few items, the server kept saying they ran out of that item or that one. They had ran out of so many different items, that at a certain point we just asked what they did have and ordered from that. We ended up with Chicken Adobo, Pancit Canton, and Pork with Eggplant and a Mango Shake. It didn't take long for our food to arrive. And since we were sitting on the upper level that looks out to the street, our server mentioned to press a button on the wall there, that would alert for her to come up. Kind of a cool and speedy concept. More importantly, the food was good! Of the dishes I enjoyed the Pork with Eggplant, as the meat was tender and nicely sauteed with the eggplant and other veggies in an oyster sauce. The portion was also a lot, so was great for sharing. Pancit Canton was also good, with the veggies and pork throughout the egg noodles. I also liked that the sauce was on the lighter side. The Chicken Adobo wasn't bad, but wasn't my favorite. The chicken pieces were mostly wings, so didn't have as much meat as we thought when ordering. Adobo sauce was good with the roasted peppers, but wished the chicken pieces were from a whole chicken instead of wings. Overall, food was good and glad to have gone outside of our resort for a meal in Loboc. Sarimanok Inn & Resto is also accessible, making it easy to get to, as it's right off a major highway. They also have free, fast wifi here, which is a huge plus in Loboc. If you're in town and looking for a dine-in experience with full service then Sarimanok Inn & Resto is your answer.

There really isnt a lot of parking available, but as long as you can fit your car in a spot, youre good. There have definitely grown a lot in the many years of my absence. I remember it was an all outdoor setting and the restaurant was still halfway through the field. Now, it takes up the entire lot with a second story spaces and airconditioned rooms and private rooms. I dont ever recall having a turo turo/ karenderia setting, but its there now and its the same as the food as they serve in the menu. Like most restaurants here, they have a place to wash their hands that is outside of the restrooms which makes it super convenient and you dont have to crowd the restrooms for that. Also, you can fill your own water pitchers or glasses at their self serve water station just beside the hand washing station. They were all very attentive to us. We had over a party of 15 of all ages and everyone was pretty fed and satisfied.

Thank goodness for that because it was my friend's birthday and I couldn't find a cake anywhere else. Usually, they have a few options for premade cakes (as well as cookies, pastries, etc) but I went to late in the day so had to settle for the two last slices that were left of a bigger cake. It was father's day weekend so they had been very busy. Fortunately, they sliced the two pieces into three pieces for us and wrote a nice message for my friend. They even gave us a candle! The cake was tasty and we were all happy. Wish we'd have had time to eat there but we were across the street at Monkey Business and left the island the next day. The locals say the food is very good, as well. Might see ya there!

It was served on a sizzling platter. It had lots of seafood - fish and shrimp and the coconut sauce was very tasty. I also ordered the Pinakbet vegetables. Also very well done and a huge serving. They were out of eggplant but that didn't matter. The other fresh vegetables made up for it. They let me know before I ordered. The sunset here was spectacular. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to get out of their resorts and try a local restaurant.
