Honestly, I wish we had just asked where the Fox and Firefly Cottages restaurant was because while this was cheap, the food did take a long time (40mins+) and we were on a tight schedule. Their special *Grilled Bangus* with rice for P115 did capture my attention though. The final product was indeed a bit skinny and a little bland, but the calamansi on the side and extra helping of onion on the top of it did enhance it some. The rice was also strangely a bit bland even though it looked seasoned (or speckled with something). The restaurant itself was open aired, so it was hot. It's sitting on the wrong side of the road, so there isn't much of a view either. You are going to absolutely want to chill with a cold beverage, so thankfully they had bottles of San Mig Pilsner in full stock. Bathroom was unexpectedly very clean. Aunties were nice too. It's quiet as it's away from the road, so at least you have that. read more
