Have visited this store four times. Not once has any salesperson offered to help. (One employee did give a quick "good morning" as he walked by.) Honestly, after the first time I just thought it was a one-off bit of being ignored, but same experience each time. On the last visit I decided to buy a small item I needed. The cashier refused to let me use a credit card unless I provided my phone #; he claimed the credit card processor needed it to confirm my identity. So I gave a bogus number and the transaction went through with no problem. I will never return. read more

I recently had my motorcycle serviced here, and ordered some parts as well. The experience was terrible. The service dept does not speak to the parts dept so there were a number of miscommunications in timing of the service & installation. My parts sat there for a while without being installed. Separately, the parts I ordered were scratched and they didn't do anything to help me out there! Expensive and scratched!!. Super bummed. And the service dept scratched my brand new seat as well, and left scratches on the gas tank too. My bike was in perfect condition when I left it, and I didn't get it back the same way. Lastly, the service dept was extremely rude. I called several times to check on the status of my bike (hold times were always very long with a very annoying hold song too) and then curt & extremely abrupt once you actually reach anyone. I've had my bikes serviced here for years. I also had Tommy dyno tune two of my motorcycles with outstanding results.

If I could leave no stars I genuinely would. I understand that any dealership's main function is to a sell a product and make money. I completely understand the game. I just want to first start and say that the staff is completely unprofessional, from the beginning, the salesman all the way to the finance manager. I sat down with a salesman, we cut a deal for a certain amount for a certain make and model. We shook hands to which I was told they were going to close in 20 minutes so I would have to complete my own finance application. I then did as instructed and did not hear back from the salesman for almost a week. Then, I was jerked around by the salesman who vaguely explained that I did not qualify. After coming up with solutions to every single problem that was thrown at me, the salesman just stopped answering me. I was then contacted by a worker that works for Xtreme Machines who told me that the finance manager made a comment that they "killed" the deal due to them not able to make enough money off of me. I don't know who is going to read this, but if you do, just know there are other dealers in the area with reasonable people who will try and make a deal that suites both parties. This place is extremely unprofessional and I am disgusted that I even wasted my time going there. Also, after they ignored me, they kept me on their "text" auto-messaging. I'm a 60 year old nearing retirement and thinking about replacing my Goldwing with a new one. I walk up to the receptionist and ask to see the new Goldwing and the young salesman calls me "Bud". We walk over to the Wing and he doesn't tell me a thing about it. New? Leftover? He asks what I am riding and I point out my old Wing in the parking lot. I see all the bad reviews and not trying to take anything away from them, everyone's experience is different. Mine was very good here. I did a trade in on my bike and they paid a reasonable if not great price on my trade. The salesmen were very friendly and helpful and had a good knowledge of their products. Got a pretty fair price on the new bike as well. The service department is outstanding. The service writer gave good advice and actually adjusted the quoted price for service in my favor after the job was done, which gave me enormous confidence in their honesty and integrity. Work was good and done in a reasonable amount of time. The mechanic had a question about exactly how I wanted something and took the time to call me into the shop area and explain all options and the pros and cons. I was very pleased with the service experience and will be having them do whatever I can't do myself (which is a lot lol). The women in the business office were friendly and went out of their way for a minor issue I had (that wasn't their fault) cheerfully and efficiently (which in a lot of shops would have caused at least a little attitude). Only complaint is the accessories department is high priced. I looked at a $600 helmet which I wanted along with a comms/speaker system and the price they gave me was a full $100 higher than Cycle Gear. A few bucks I could have lived with but not $100 on a $600 helmet, so I drove down to Cherry Hill and got it there. I have been to this shop to try and buy a bike 3 times over the last 9 years. They would never work with me on pricing and were blown out of the water by other dealers every time. This time I was to multiple dealers looking at my short list of bikes. They were very friendly and helpful. Jack was a cool kid to work with. In these times dealers can't get bikes and tell you the price is what it is...take it or leave it. They told me that at first. We went back and forth. They had the bike I wanted(other dealers as well) so I gave them the chance to sell it to me. They came down a bit and I bought the bike. Delivery was easy and I rode it 75 miles home. Don't purchase anything fragile from this seller that has to be insured. I had this company insure a fragile item and they charged me $60.00 for $180.00 UPS insurance, way more than the insurance policy cost after some investigation. When item was delivered it was broken in multiple pieces so I contacted the company. They placed an insurance claim with UPS and I asked several times for an update. I was told it was under review two times and now after a month total silence. The company will not respond and I haven't received the insurance money for the broken item and the company won't accept returns. Total rip off. My best guess is this person took out the insurance in their business name and had me send them the pictures of the damaged item to claim the insurance money and keep the $180.00 for them self. Terrible experience. They sold me a bike that was way to small. I road it for a couple days (45 miles) and tried to trade it in and they told me there was nothing they could do. Simply because I got ripped off and over charged there was going to be no way I could trade it in for something bigger. I went to Jersey Shore Power sports and they sell the same bike for 2000 cheaper. Once again since I got ripped off so bad they couldn't do anything either to get me out of the bike. Thank god i ended up going to Harley Davidson of Ocean County and they got me out of the bike and on to a Harley. From leaving this dealer ship and going to Jersey Shore Power Sports and Harley, I really seen salesman who tried to get me on the right bike and not just something to get me out the door. read more

I have a 2012 Triumph Tiger Explorer with roughly 30,000 miles on it. A yearly check up and/or service is important; nothing worse than being 1,000 miles from home with bike trouble. The first time I dealt with Xtreme Machines was 3 years ago. I came back from a week ride through Maine, in which my ABS system failed. Along with checking the problem, I asked them to give the bike a tune up and a general check of the bike. The ABS issue was the last dealership hadn't secured the hardware properly. Xtreme Machines charged me for just the tune up and a general check. Since then, they've been my service and/or check up spot. Last year, I bought a brand new Triumph Scrambler from them. It's a 2016, so it had been on the showroom for awhile. I got a great deal on it and the transaction when smoothly. read more

Bought an Arctic Cat ATV 2 years ago and made an appointment for mine and my husband's for service. We live 45-50 minutes away and loaded 2 quads and drove over only to have them tell us they no longer service Arctic Cat ATV's. It would've been good information to have before we went through the trouble of loading them onto trailers and driving all that way! I wish whoever in their service department made the appointment would have had the knowledge to tell a customer we no longer service that kind! We are not exactly youngsters. One of the most horrible experiences I've ever had dealing with a company! This pertains to the Service department. Over promised, over priced, incompetent, and terrible communication! I dropped my ATV off for service when the hand brake wasn't working, and I was told it would be ready in 10 days. My ATV was in the shop for 5 weeks total. No big deal if they're super overwhelmed due to COVID but I never received a call from Service updating me on the status of the delayed work. I always had to call them and when I did, I either got the run-around or was told I would receive a callback (which I rarely did). Very poor customer service! After 3 weeks when the work was ALMOST done, their Tech actually tore an axel boot putting it back together. They kept it for another 2 weeks and were going to charge me to fix something their Tech had broke, citing "It was going to tear anyway". When I finally thought this whole process was over and got ahold of my ATV, the hand brake (original problem I sent it in for) didn't even work!!!! I had to send it back for a couple more day. I escalated this issue to a sales manager and was cut a break on the bill (i.e. they took off the cost of what they broke). The manager said they were ordering a clip that connects the shifter assembly to the gear box. This was to replace the one they destroyed themselves. The manager said they would fix it for free once they got the part in but I never received a call back on this either. DISMAL service! Spare yourself the aggravation and stay away from them! read more

Huge stock of gear and tons of machines of almost every variety, and a top notch service department with all the dyno and other good gadgets you want your shop to have at their disposal. I wasn't thrilled with the one week wait for an appointment, but it was worth the wait. No annoying hard up sells, thorough, friendly, answered lots of questions, made a couple very believable suggestions, and didn't over charge me on labor. read more

My jet ski broke down so i dropped it off at a dealer to fix it who told me a couple weeks it'd be ready. I checked in 3 weeks later and they said another month. I googled dealerships and took a chance w/ xtreme machines. I called them that day and they said to drop it off. I brought it right from the original dealer to Xtreme Machines over an hour away on that saturday at 1pm. At 5 pm the same day they called me and had diagnosed the problem and would order the parts early that week. Five days after I dropped it off they called to tell me it was ready for pick up and they had found a service bulletin so a warranty covered the repair. I had never heard of xtreme machines and my experience there was nothing short of amazing. The staff was so helpful, friendly, and professional. not to mention the shop is pristine and like a toys r us for adults! I will 100% drive out of my way to buy my next ski from them. If you get service, you will have to drive there to talk to them- they consistently hang up on you after being on hold for 1/2 hour. They will always tell your battery is dead after service. If you have 39 days to waist for a incomplete repair. Then Xtreme Machine is the place to go. After holding my ATV for 39 days .Xtreme Machine was incapable of repairing my ATV. During a pandemic I had to take my ATV to a reliable repair shop. They were able to repair my ATV in 4 days not 39 days like Xtreme Machine. They also communicate with the customer by phone about the repair. Unlike Xtreme Machine you have to call them. Xtreme Machine also tried to strong arm me for payment for incomplete work. And like the nice policeman said. The owner of Xtreme Machine can't make me pay for work that was not performed, I will be filing a small claims court complaint when the pandemic is over for the way I was treated at Xtreme Machine. Went to run a credit check and told me the finance company they use were closed because of the pandemic. Then not 5 minutes later they are all of a sudden open. I hate liars. Wouldn't budge a dollar on price. Wanted 4511.32 out the door. I got the same exact bike at Motorcycle Mall in Belleville for 3900.00 out the door. Bunch of shysters. Then I call the service department on Saturday to have the 10 hour service done on the bike. On hold 10 minutes. Finally a message was taken and I was assured a call back. It is now Tuesday evening. Stay far far away!!!! Bullshit!!!! Know what you are talking about before you speak. I was told financing was closed because of COVID-19. I was transferred to "Larry" and asked what they had in stock. He told me he was the ONLY one who deals with boat sales in the establishment and to call and make an appointment with ONLY HIM in order to see the models. I then asked what the price point on the machines are as I live an hour away from the dealership to which he responded "Im not going to negotiate over the phone I simply do not have the time. Total cost $620 despite the estimate of 300-400, no notification of a price change, and a day of pickup confirmation the bill would be $360. Sent management an email follow up 10 days ago and never heard back. Once they had the bike they held it and gouged me on pricing. Response to the comment below: No, nobody called us and I find it amazing you can recall doing so months after the repair... especially when the staff seemed so disconnected and dismissive when we were there. I called Xtreme Machines to verify that they had the Honda EU2200 inverter generator in stock before I took the 35 minute drive to Millstone. After several (unnecessary) phone calls back and forth from different employees with conflicting information about availability and pricing, the end result was that they did not have that model in stock. Horrible! Buyer beware! We spent 10K of our hard earned money right before Xmas on three go karts and a dirt bike. I have had nothing but issues with the go karts since the very beginning. This last issue has been going on since before memorial day. Theyve had two carts since then. I have paid 725 towards new batteries (yep new batteries, not even 6 months old) and cables. Ron is sarcastic and said outright that my sons hit something to damage the carts. As if he is a family member and resides with us to know what my kids do. Unfortunately, my kids were only able to ride them a handful of times due to carts breaking down. Ron didnt understand why they should fix the batteries and not me? Well Sir, maybe because they werent even 4 months old when the batteries died. Cable broke but thats not covered, neither are the batteries.
