I talked to them prior to my appointment i stressed the importance of being gentle with my car when changing the tires especially on the rims. While the staff were polite, and the appointment was super fast, they definitely dinged up my rims a little. It wasnt enough for me to make a big fuss but I am definitely not happy. As I said I take great pride in my car. I have put so much work, love, and money into it and to have it treated without the care and detail that I would is disheartening. I dont know for sure if I would give them return service after this.

They seem like a very reputable place, if I need services in the future that they can accommodate I would definitely consider going to their shop. The workers were very pleasant, knowledgeable and didn't make me feel awkward in any way! They were very transparent and nice and that's really hard to find in a mechanic shop nowadays ESPECIALLY as a woman so I thank them for their kindness, straight-forward advice and pleasantries.

They're a business for sure but they never try to upsell or overcharge you. I've compared their prices for years, and they have remained competitive. So everything else is gravy, and it's a lot. I trust Randall's for every single service and maintenance need for every vehicle I've owned in NC (1 sedan and 2 SUVs). And if they ever run into something they can't fix or believe you should bounce to another spot for a fix, they honestly tell you and reco great places. One location had a 2-2.5 hour wait and another had a 1hr or so wait. I called Battleground Tire first before coming by and was told they could squeeze me in, which was awesome. I was told it would be $25. Battleground Tire is located on the corner of pisgah church and battleground. There is a sign that says Nappa Auto center which definitely confused me. However, it does say Battleground Tire on the building itself. Inside, Anthony assisted me. He definitely had a sense of humor, which was nice. I had to give typically name, address, and car info to check in and get work done. They have complimentary WiFi which I didn't use. My car was done at 4:55pm, which so much better than the time I would've spent at discount tire. I learned that Anthony was the owner. He was extremely friendly and personable. Throughout my interactions from check in and check out, he initiated conversation. He mentioned wanted to get to know his customers, which is very admirable.

I recently had a lift kit installed on my 2025 Maverick tremor. They (Baitys) have done a lift kit before on my bronco sport Badlands awesome job. However, this was not. I acquired their services to do this lift kit and it was on for about a month before it failed. Apparently whether they did not install the CV back into the transmission correctly or the lift kit was missing something but regardless it popped the CV joint out and I lost the transmission. I thought it was a factory issue. It was not. Dealership told me about the CV and the issue with that being that it was not installed correctly or something was missing when they put the aftermarket lift kit on. I did not expect Baittys to pay the full price for the transmission, $8500 and change. But I did expect them to assume some responsibility. I figured that was fair. Also being kind to them because of the relationship I thought meant something and apparently that was Folly on my part. The dealership was awesome, (capital Ford) in Wilmington. They were kind enough to give me a loaner which I've had now for well over a week and a half free of charge. Unbelievably kind. This happened by the way 3 1/2 hours from home on Oak Island. I reside in Greensboro. Well got the call today that the transmission is done. I Texted Tripp the manager At Baiteys Tire he texted me and told me and I paraphrase, that the dealership called him and told him it wasn't anything they did. Which, of course, is in congruent with what the manager told me at the dealership. After leaving a slightly terse voicemail asking why they would tell him that as it was not congruent with our initial conversations after they found out what happened. This being at capital Ford in Wilmington, I got a call back from Nick the manager there and service that is, and he told me he has not contacted Tripp except for the first time telling him what happened and he would be in touch when it's done. 10 years I've dealt with Tripp and Baittys Tire and always recommended them. But why he would tell me a story that they told him it was not anything they did is beyond the pale. You know when you hire somebody, you have a reasonable expectation that they know what in the sam hell they're doing. Well I can tell you, he kicked the can and now I'm stuck with the full amount of a brand new transmission, plus the cost of the lift kit, which will not work on my Maverick at least in the kit that I paid for. So I am out over 10 grand. He can't make this up. So no, I could not recommend them again. It is very distressing. I'm out of the money. I'm out of relationship that you would've thought after 10 years. It meant something. But alas. I'm sure this is abnormal in business today. Sarcasm implied. So buyer beware. I would not recommend them and would give them a minus one score If I could. Sad, big time, mad oh hell? Oh yeah. This is what happened without any embellishments as I believe in being honorable and it is important to be as accurate as possible and not allow your emotions to overtake the facts. Good luck, Baittys Tire. Damn.
