This is the second Discount Tire location in Greensboro I've been to and I've been pleased with all my experiences. Getting new tires and having any work done is never the most pleasant experience so with that in mind I've really enjoyed working with Discount Tire. I find their pricing to be fair and their staff to be really friendly. If you are able to plan ahead and schedule your visit, it's really a breeze to get your tires done here. I normally go to another location but needed to be on Battleground anyway so I chose this one and it was a great visit. I have a very hard to find tire so I actually pre-ordered from Tire Rack online and scheduled everything at that time. It was easy to do and made finding and picking my tires very easy. read more

I have a pretty unique vehicle. Which i love. Like a lot. I take great care of my car so taking it to places to have maintenance done that I cant tale care of myself is always nerve wracking. I talked to them prior to my appointment i stressed the importance of being gentle with my car when changing the tires especially on the rims. While the staff were polite, and the appointment was super fast, they definitely dinged up my rims a little. It wasnt enough for me to make a big fuss but I am definitely not happy. As I said I take great pride in my car. I have put so much work, love, and money into it and to have it treated without the care and detail that I would is disheartening. I have been to the Discount Tire on Battleground most recently and a few years back at Gate City Boulevard both places I was treated great and I like their store model in that wherever you bought your tires they were rotate them free also wherever you bought your tire they will fix a flat FREE if it's not too close to the sidewall and they take the tire off and and do a quality repair with a patch on the inside of the tire I did get two Tire purchases quoted and they were less than firestone by significant amount and my car is driving great with two new tires on the front read more

I visited this location today and an employee Colin provided the best customer service. He was so patient in explaining ALL things from how I know which trim my car was to where to find my tire size. He showed me how to schedule an appointment on the website and even explained financing options. In a climate like today's where good customer service seems to be a thing of the past, I just really appreciate him making this frustrating time a pleasant experience to get handled. read more

I took my Lexus to the Discount Tire location on Battleground yesterday and had a very good experience. I received quick service from a salesperson who diagnosed the problem and checked me in quickly. When I picked up my car, I was greeted by name by Lamar, the store manager, who was very friendly. Do not buy tires here. I bought a set of brand-new tires and their protection plan just 9 months ago. The technicians installed cheap metal valve caps, which chemically fused to my valve stems--a known issue that professional tire techs are supposed to avoid. When I came back, they refused to fix their own mistake, denied my warranty protection, and literally told me to 'go next door' to Meineke to fix it. Customer Service was great, spoke with a nice, helpful person at one of your shops in Greensboro NC. Had a nail in sidewall. Was quoted $322 for a brand new tire ..... called the car dealership and their price was $168 for the same tire!!!! Could have bought 2 new tires from dealership for the price of one at Discount Tires! Call your dealership before committing to non-Discount Tires. Got 4 New Tires on a Special! Customer Service was great with every one I interacted with. Got the warranty & when I needed to come back after a nail was in my tire (have off road Jeep tires; why not get the warranty), they were able to get me in & out before work (10:00) & still customer service was great! I will continue to come to this location as long as this continues! read more

We had a flat driving to Greensboro at about 5pm on Friday. Discount tire said they would look at it if we could arrive at the store before closing at 6pm. AAA came quickly, changed the tire and was able to make it. Discount Tire was able to access and fix the tire for free. Truly excellent service for an out of towner. read more

I visited here at 11:05am on Wednesday to get my tires rotated. I bought a set of tires from the company, and rotation is free :) This is a new location. I had called prior to coming and was told it was be 45 minutes total, which was way better than the time I got with the High Point location that I was close to. Luther was the associate who assisted me when I arrived. I like how they have screens on the other side of the desk where you can see what's going on and check the accuracy of your information. This how I noticed they had the incorrect spelling on my street. Around 11:10am, I received a text message with a link to check the status of my vehicle. I went to the restroom around 11:20 and it definitely smelled like a new building. It was very clean and even had a baby changing station, which isn't typical for a men's restroom. There was both a urinal and a toilet present. They have an hand sanitizer dispenser and an automatic soap dispenser. The sink, however, wasn't very clean. At 11:30am, i saw them take my car to the bay to perform the service. My car was done and ready at 11:40am. The staff are friendly. I have no complaints! read more

I went to Discount tire with my son. We drove separately, and I waited in the car. (He's practicing "adulting" He'd had his car about a year and had a flat. The man inside, gave him a good price, changed the tire, etc. but told him the other tires were in bad shape, so he should come back. A couple of weeks later. He went back. Asked what the man suggested. Gave him an amazing deal balanced the tires, did everything right. So many times you hear about people getting taken advantage of. But when they really listen to their customers, and do right by them, you just want to shout if from the rooftops! They made two lifelong customers that day. read more

The tire prices start out low enough but when the bill comes look for it to be much higher. They add several charges which drives the tire price MUCH higher....not disounted at all. You think your tires are rotated free....better look at the charge on the new tire bill. Great real! If they were doing things free they couldn't stay in business. The money comes from somewhere! read more

My experience here was excellent. I walked I at 3:30 on Friday because I my tire was leaking air. They were able to fix it in about an hour and a half. Reasonable for that time in a Friday. And it was free!!! What?! Anything like a plug, etc. is free! They offered me water and kept me updated. I'll take it! read more

I had tried a couple places that said they could not fix my tire. Other shops told me I would have to buy an expensive replacement that they would need to schedule me for in a week. Discount Tire was clean and comfortable with excellent customer service. They got me in and out with a repair. I decided to purchase a warranty plan. Fantastic communication and move around as fast as possible to get you in and out as fast as possible. It's easy to set up an appointment on their website. They text you with reminders of your upcoming appointments and during your appointment so that you're never stuck wondering when you'll get your car back. All of employees here give you constant reminders of "Hey! It'll only be 5-10 minutes and we will get you out fast!" They're so friendly and give you their honest feedback. Assessed, 10 min wait, all 4 tires balanced and rotated while I sat in the car. New $150 tire replaced under their warranty...FREE. Fantastic service. Needed help with my tpms sensor and both staff members I talked to were beyond helpful. No trying to upsell stuff I didn't want or need. Just fast professional service. They even helped with a couple random questions I had about my car. I wish I had gotten both of there names so I can give the a shout-out in this review.
