We came right after opening on a Saturday and the floor was pretty quiet. We looked at one of the styles that we thought we wanted but weren't settled. We were being helped by Kurt who was able to show us some other products that were well within our price range. We ended up liking the latex beds by pranasleep and purchased it that day. They have financing available and we ended up being able to get our bed added into that day's shipment without excess cost. We also got a mattress cover after noticing fluids seeping into the mattress which gave us two free pillows! We would definitely recommend this location.

Meanwhile, this mattress continues to get worse. It simply cannot handle my 122 lb. body weight when in use. The materials instantly compress so much that I experience physical discomfort and soreness (an iPad on a stand next to the bed is now exactly level with my face while I'm lying down). This points to a massive failure in the product's support capacity. I'm forced to sleep on my couch now rather than my bed because of the hip and glute pain I'm experiencing. This company's system for resolving customer complaints is clearly broken if the manager ignores a significant issue a customer is having. I cannot recommend a company that sells low-quality products and provides zero follow-up customer service. I will file a formal complaint with the BBB and the NYS Consumer Protection Agency if I don't get a response soon. *****ORIGINAL REVIEW***** I purchased the Celestial Pegasus Plush Innerspring mattress and thought I'd finally get relief from the hip pain and foot numbness I had from my four year old Saatva latex mattress that I spent a fortune on. That wasn't the case. The Pegasus "Plush" wasn't plush at all and the hip pain and foot numbness continued. I should note the pain and numbness only happen when I'm lying down in bed so this isn't a medical issue. I used their exchange policy after sleeping on that mattress for 30 days and exchanged it for the Simmons Emerald Coast, which I was told was a plush mattress. Now I have a whole new pain - my glute is constantly throbbing from lying on this mattress and now I'm stuck with a very expensive mistake. Never purchase a pillow top from Simmons. They sag very quickly. After doing some Googling, I found out this mattress is best for back sleepers and I can see why. That's the only way to sleep on it without much pain, although I'm a side sleeper and can't get used to sleeping on my back. I told the salesperson that I am a side sleeper so I figured he was pointing me in the right direction for side sleepers. I don't have the money to purchase yet another mattress so I'm forced to live in pain. I never in my life had so many issues with mattresses and I know it's possible to be comfortable because I recently slept in a hotel and at a friend's and had no issues. Prior to purchasing the Saatva and then these two mistakes from City Mattress, I never had issues. Bedtime was a pleasure for me. Now it's torture. Service was just ok. Nothing special, but not bad either. I suggest going elsewhere where there are many more brands to choose from.

I purchased the Harmony Firm with the old mattress as the discount towards the new one. Hence the name of the business. I hope to keep having good Karma with this business because commercial mattress prices are quite horrific but You won't be able to swap those out for a discount either unless you paid the warranty. Rose is amazingly knowledgeable on mattresses - brands and what models have what, what brands tend to have deals and literally everything. She loves her job and I cannot speak more highly of her. So, long story short, the mattress that we found there that night had a factory deal going on... we got a great quality mattress for a good price. The delivery experience was awesome too. They call the night before delivery and an automated message tells you the time frame they will be coming. ALSO! You can go online and track your mattress progress, so you can see where the truck is and what stop you are on the schedule. It updates about every twenty minutes so if they are early the time for your stop changes. I think this is great so you are not waiting all day and can still go out and get things done. Save yourself a lot of time and hassle, just come here. You won't be disappointed.

Most recently we purchased a bedroom set for my son and it was not inexpensive. Within a few months the bed frame was falling apart. Rather than replacing the defective product they sent a man to patch it up. That didn't last long. Now the dresser drawer is broken and after initially offering to fix the defective drawer for a price of $130, which we grudgingly agreed to. Then they inexplicably said that they could no longer repair. Each manager told us the same. Basically, too bad we can't help you, you are on your own. The problem with the furniture is that it is so poorly constructed that it is difficult to repair. For example the drawer slides in my son's dresser are secured to the side of the dresser with staples and glue! No screws or bolts or fasteners that are worthy of the job. The cheapest materials possible are used and then Raymour & Flaningan refuses to stand behind their product with impunity. Look closely at the actual construction of the furniture you want, and get good quality. Do not go to Raymour unless you want broken furniture in a couple of months - to maybe a couple of years if you are lucky. That is what you get for a few thousand dollars at Raymour. Pathetic.
