Came in, told I was gonna pay $130, but payed $200 since he took the screen from a BRAND NEW iPhone and put it on mine.. In other words, the price was super reasonable. He insisted I paid in cash since cash is king which should have been my first red flag. However I decided to proceed and trust him since he came to me to grab the iPad. He spent 1 min looking at it and came back saying it was bent and needed to go to his shop to repair properly. I agreed. He brought it back and told me the home button no longer works and I needed to wait to try and use the iPad. It hadn't worked since he touched it. I paid him $80 in cash and $80 on a card for an iPad worth about $20 since I was ok with paying it as long as my iPad worked again. Well it never has and never will. I took it to Apple they said it's not reparable any longer and they can recycle it for me. I felt comfortable because he was a hard working guy with children just like myself so I believed him in making it right. I've given him several opportunities to do so but he's now gone ghost. It is what it is.... Good job getting me and my family for $160 for nothing.
