I've had strep before and received much less efficient and helpful care at other places, so it was refreshing. This urgent care has a spacious and clean lobby, and they were blasting the A/C on this 95° day, so that was nice. Check-in was simple and while they did accept my Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, I still had to pay $100 out-of-pocket, but that's just my stupid insurance for you. All of the typical measurements and tests were quick, and the strep swab was the least unpleasant I've ever dealt with. The provider came in with the results five minutes later and was so friendly; she showed real concern for how bad my case was. The front desk personnel are 100% on point; efficient friendly and caring while handling business. Also, they answer the phone quickly, which is unheard of in 2026. With the exception of 2 visits my wait times have been very short and every single provider has been excellent. It was further than the other one but we went w her recommendation. I'm so glad I did! You can make an appointment ahead of time but i was a walk in. The only difference was that I had to fill out the paperwork once I got there. There was no one else ahead of me so I was called back as soon as I was done. The nurse, Mearia Chattas, was the same nurse who saw my daughter before. She's part of the reason why this is my daughter's favorite urgent care! I know that Urgent Cares aren't usually on a list of favorites. But, now it's mine too. We considered going to an ER but i knew the cost and wait would be much more. All the staff members we interacted with were great! I was treated with such kindness and respect. Mearia, the nurse, and Andy Nguyen, the PA, really took extra steps to not cause more pain to my injury whereas I could see somewhere else handling me rougher. The waiting room looked like a typical waiting room area. Once called in and taken thru the doors...this place was amazing. It looked like an emergency room at any major hospital. All the rooms had beds. They have X-rays, CT scans and MRI machines. I saw NP Courtney Rompel. She was as thorough, skilled and experienced as any Internist I have seen. She was very proactive and was able to address all my medical needs. You are a rock star NP Rompel! I was so appreciative for her concern, care and bedside manner. She even noticed I had some wax build-up in my ear. I can't remember the last time my ENT looked in my ear. My ear was subsequently flushed by the great technician on duty assisting NP Rompel. Side Bar: A few days later I was having an issue with some antibiotics I got at CVS (on the same property). The medication was cracked and disintegrating. CVS refused to exchange the medication without a new prescription. I wish I was kidding but I am not. So back I go to the urgent care and they immediately contacted CVS for replacement medication, without hesitation. I was so grateful for for the treatment I received by NP Rompel, the responsiveness for the medication re-do request, and just in totality an overall fabulous experience.
