I was referred to Xpress by the amazing care providers at Carbon Health because they do not accept MediCal/CalOptima. I like having the option of excellent urgent care and try to avoid spending needless hours in the ER. My respiratory and diabetic conditions have required approximately 9 or 10 visits. The front desk personnel are 100% on point; efficient friendly and caring while handling business. Also, they answer the phone quickly, which is unheard of in 2026. With the exception of 2 visits my wait times have been very short and every single provider has been excellent. The providers are very thorough, but please be advised, they can only address the highest priority health concern that you have at the time. Based on today's interaction 10 or 20 stars. I brought my 88 year old neighbor in with extreme congestion and shallow breathing. Doctor was respectful and kind and gave her prescriptions. When inhaler wasn't working out, he wrote another prescription for a nebulizer and abuterol solution. Office staff was kind and helpful, totally love this office. read more

I went to this facility twice out of necessity, and both times I was unhappy with the quality of care and service. On my first visit, the doctor concluded I had covid before I shared much information or tests were even run. I was having pretty bad brain fog and figured maybe patients with covid just look a special type of run down and they can just tell at this point. I was feeling pretty awful. they sent out a couple test and told me there wasn't much they could do besides advising me to take OTC pain killers and offered a couple of prescriptions to help with the pain. I was pretty distraught and out of it and the staff was very kind and patient with me, and tried to explain everything as best they could. a miserable 4 days later they called to tell me all tests came back negative and it was just a cold. while i appreciated the follow up, i was incredibly confused; I was still having awful brain fog and, especially given the severity of my symptoms I could not believe this was a mere cold. but I resigned myself because I didn't go to medical school. a week later i was back to 100% and ready to call it a weird bad cold. less than 2 weeks later, all of the same symptoms flare back up. I'm incapacitated and a wreck. I go back to this urgent care hoping they can provide greater support since this appears to be something recurring, but when I began to explain this, I was told they're here to treat the symptoms and can't really support beyond that. again the staff was kind and tried to explain to me I had a cold and there was nothing they could do besides advise OTC meds, and quite frankly i cried because I had been in so much pain for so long. that kinda forced them to take a moment to really listen to me and I felt like the doctor was able to actually take me seriously and provide me advice that actually made sense for what I've been going through. the staff are generally kind and helpful, but i think the facility may be truly limited in some capacities of what they're able to do in ways I can't understand. I DON'T think this is the best place to find comprehensive care with someone who will really listen to you and take the time to understand your needs. maybe it could be good for a quick fix ‍ also the walls are thin and I can hear the staff talking in the hallway, often relaying my information to other staff members. they spoke objectively, but it still felt a little weird. i appreciate the patience the few doctors I worked with took with me as I was in a difficult situation, but ultimately I would not recommend. read more

This isn't the urgent care that I usually visit. I had to take my mom there because it's the closest urgent care that accepts her insurance. The front desk and staff were friendly and attentive. There was a short wait time. It resolved what my mom needed. However, their policy is to charge you out of your pocket at a price even if you have an insurance. The charge ended up being higher than what the patient responsibility is after the insurance processed the claim. In our case, I had to babysit the refund process, checking the EOB result, calling the urgent care billing, requesting an refund, and waiting for a check to be delivered at the location where we visited to pick up the check. Compared with the billing process of the urgent that I usually visit, this is truly a nightmare for me. I won't visit this chain of urgent care if I have a better choice. read more

Went in to see the Dr/PA on Sunday evening. The Dr/PA told me if I come back within three days, my copay would be waived. So today, instead of seeing my primary, I decided to go back to this place since the evening is more convenient. Show up and told they would not honor my copay waived. The office staff called management. Manager said absolutely no. I explained again, told them the time and name of the person. Manager on the other end again refused to honor what I was told. The manager refused to have the staff call the people working the other night to verify or deny what I claimed. I overheard through the phone the manager say just let him sit there for a long time before you tell him to either pay or leave. This was all over a copay of $25. Instead of customer service, the manager planted their flag to get an extra $25. My kids and I will be going to other urgent cares in the area. This one will never be patronized by me, or my family, again. read more

I went in to the Valley View location on 4/16. I had fallen the night before flat on my butt and head. I was still experiencing great pain and was scheduled for jury duty and I knew I needed a written Drs note to get out of it. Btw, I was fully ready to go to jury duty before my fall. Front desk person was not very welcoming, but that's normal now days. She informed me that my portion would be $175. It seemed high to me, but I figured I had not used my deductible for this year. The PA I saw was very nice and informative. He really didn't do anything besides check my mobility. I am 61.5 years old. He informed me if I had been 63, I would be sent for a scan. I was given a steroid for the pain and I left. Several weeks later I received the EOB from my insurance company saying my portion was$121. I contacted the facility by email immediately and asked for a partial refund due to my ins saying I only owed $121, but I paid them $175. It's been three weeks since I emailed them and I have not heard anything from them, nor have I received a refund. I am disappointed that they acted like their computer knew exactly what my portion was. They took my money, and they have made no effort to refund what I over paid. On another note, I am still having back pain, and, the court did not accept their brief letter as an acceptable reason for missing jury duty. read more

Tried to give this place a second chance but definitely regret it. From the front desk to the PA, they don't want to do their job, seem under qualified, and are rude. They try and make extra money off your insurance with useless tests. Then at the end of the visit give you no solutions and tell you to wait it out. Doctor and Nurse along with Care Quality was great I took my daughter her last night 8/20/2023 and was assisted by PA Revai Samuel who was a breath of fresh air in the quality of care we received compared to previous Urgent Care centers. My daughter was ill and she took care of her and ensured she had the best quality of care. She was kind, great listener and superior quality of care. She ensured we understood everything. David was our nurse and he was wonderful too. I am certainly recommending this Urgent Care to family and friends. It is very uncommon these days to find care providers who goes out and beyond and think it is very important to point out amazing people who truly intentionally take the time and meaningly help those who are sick. The name is deceiving. There is no urgency nor care to be seen in this facility. Please avoid at all costs and go to any other urgent care. Super warm inside. No concern for patient wellness or efficiency and I perceive there are some unlawful or unethical billing practices. The only think going for them is parking. read more

I wish I could give NEGATIVE stars. For One, the staff was extremely rude & terse. I had to pay out of pocket for a Pre-employment Drug Screening. I'm just taking the test to get hired, I'm not doing any illegal substances. THEY FAILED ME WITHOUT EVEN TESTING THE URINE BECAUSE IT WAS "TOO COLD." Excuse me for taking a minute to pull up my pants and walk out sample. They get $50, I get faulty results for a future employer. I made the mistake of going here because it was close to my current job and I was in a hurry to get results for the new employer. Rang the bell again and heard someone say that someone would come up. After standing there for some time I finally left. I came to Carbon Health down the street. Was seen right away and everyone was very nice. They also had a nice, clean waiting room. I can't say the same for Xpress. My advice, avoid Xpress! read more

Awful visit from start to finish. No AC in the office. It is hotter inside then outside. They charge more if your a new patient. $175 to be seen ( with insurance) is crazy! Doctor was rude and had no bed side manor. She listened to my breathing barley touching my back with the stethoscope and " couldn't hear my lungs" Keep breathing. Told her I was dizzy and she was rude. She gave me attitude when called out. "What do you want?" She says. Well I don't want to be sick anymore. Day 12 of sickness Didn't want to run any tests. She wanted me to do her job. I even said " I'm not a doctor " I've never been treated so poorly. Save your time and money and go somewhere where your treated with compassion. read more

I made an appointment online for 1.20pm. When I get there at 1.10pm the front desk states she has to take her lunch and the doctor will not be able to see me until she gets back at 2.30pm. They should block this time out so no one can make an appointment during lunch hours. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

They are fast to assist those who walk in. Of the three times I have been here, it has always been a very quick online check in process and I haven't had to wait long to see a medical team. I give 5 stars because of the efficiency of their medical team and their staff is beyond accommodating and sincere! Do not go here! Horrible experience. Provider was extremely rude and dismissive. Went in because of a fever, 4-5 days after onset of original symptoms. (A lot of times can be a sign of a secondary infection). I had bronchitis that took two rounds of antibiotics, in December, and this was a lot like that. When asked if she could listen to my chest, I was questioned because "she told me I wasn't emergent". I completely agreed. I wasn't emergent when I had bronchitis either. And if I was emergent today, I would be at an er. The way she spoke was extremely condescending and rude. Wasn't searching for antibiotics. Just doing what the previous doctors have instructed me to do. If end up spoiling a fever days after the onset of symptoms, best to get checked out for a secondary infection. My daughter arrived at the urgent care facility at around 7:20pm and was informed by the receptionist that the on-call doctor was attending to another patient, and it was unclear how long the wait would be. The receptionist offered an appointment for the next morning, but when I called to clarify, I was told that the doctor was engaged in a procedure and it was uncertain whether my daughter would be seen tonight. She also stated that they leave at 8pm whether there are patients waiting or not. What type of policy is that? I'll never send anyone to this facility. read more

Rude girls working up front, looked like they just rolled out of bed, unkept, then I was greeted with "we're not in your network & there's a $20 co-pay", carpet is disgusting, no toilet paper in the bathroom & there was poop stuck to the bathroom door. I didn't have a positive experience here. Long wait to be seen even though we had an appointment and the P.A. wasn't knowledgeable about the eye drops that were to be administered to our daughter who was showing signs of pinkeye. Many urgent care centers want to make a quick buck by getting you in and out and giving basic medical advice. Be sure you go to a place that is managed professionally and has skilled staff. read more

Found this urgent care through my insurance app and made an appointment online adding all of my insurance information while doing this. Came in early and waited there for about 30 minutes or so before he called me back up and told me that my insurance was not accepted. I showed them that it showed on my insurance that this was an accepted urgent care, and the gentleman seemed to have a very whatever attitude about it and told me I could pay $150 just for a consultation. I would not recommend this urgent care on any level. I will also be speaking to my insurance company to see why it is listed there but not a great experience. Brought my son here on Sunday with a sore throat. The receptionist was sick and instead of taking my sons weight and height just asked him. She didn't bother to take his blood pressure but heard her say in the hallway she couldn't do it. The nurse practitioner saw my son and offered meds and a strep test. The receptionist reappeared and couldn't perform the swab test properly. The NP prescribed amoxicillin for the throat. Come to find out Niyati Vyarawala prescribed three times the recommended dosage. The pediatrician called to speak with a supervisor and no response. My son has been dealing with the repercussions of their ineptness for a week now. My focus is on my son at the moment but hoping to stop this from happening to there. Take your healthcare needs elsewhere. read more

Had a terrible experience here. Was very unprofessional overall. The front desk woman was not helpful and rude. She literally just looked at me like I was stupid when I was talking to her and was not helpful at all. I also watched her do the same thing to another person who was there that was expressing a question/concern to her and all she did was argue with them instead of try to understand them. The person that saw me was good and helpful, prescribed me the antibiotics I needed but did not provide any paperwork or information whatsoever. Sure no problem, but if you're going to tell me to wear a mask maybe you should wear your mask correctly over your nose. This urgent care was recommended but I was highly disappointed in our experience there. I brought my 90 yr old mom in for head pain and rash. The doctor on duty took one look at my mom's BP and focused only on that. She would not address the symptoms and insisted we go to an ER. Within 5 min at the ER, the first medical staff we saw took one look and said, "You have shingles!" After 5 hours at the ER, my poor exhausted mom finally had prescriptions for shingles and her severe pain (which caused her high BP.) The doctor at urgent care couldn't diagnose shingles? This would've saved my mom unnecessary extra stress, time and money. I'm not saying this facility is bad for all things but for our experience, I was extremely disappointed in the lack of knowledge of the doctor. read more

I went with a friend to Xpress for a covid test and the staff was very helpful with what types of test they offer and which would be best for us. I then spoke to the provider and administered the test and said I'd get the results within 36 hours. I was in and out very quickly. I loved the service and will be coming here from now on! read more
