i came in on a saturday afternoon & made an appointment online in case there were any lines. i was greeted with two amazing ladies at the front desk that were welcoming, since i already completed the registration online, i just filled out a quick form on my allergy and surgical history. after waiting in the lobby for 5 or so minutes one of the medical assistants greeted me to the exam room to take my vitals. one of the medical doctors helped me out with the rest and i was on my way 10-15mins later! this is the quickest visit without waiting at the doctors office or hospital! would definitely come again!

This is the waiting room and check-in.

Brand new building so no line. The inside is fresh and clean. Right next door to Walmart on Beach Blvd & GG Blvd. Tip: fill out your paperwork online before going in. It will cut your visit time in half.

I recommend this place for covid tests. I've been here 3 times already, 1 time for antibody test and 2 times for nasal swab test. The process was simple and fast. You are in and out in less than 5 minutes. You sign up online for the date/time of your appointment, upload your drivers license and insurance card (front and back), and arrive 10-15 mins before your appointment time. Check in at the front desk. If there's someone inside then you wait outside since they only allow one party in each time. Once you checked in, you get your test done in less than a minute. The nasal swab test was not painful at all, just a little uncomfortable for 2-5 seconds on each side. The antibody test was more uncomfortable because they can't find my vein haha. To get your results, you sign up for an account on Labcorp and they will notify you by email when your result is ready. I already had an account so I didn't need to sign up. For covid tests, you get your results in 2-3 days. I got mine after 2 days for the first two tests, and the next day for the third test. They also have the 15-min test but I'm not sure if that test is accurate. If you can't get an appointment because it's full, keep checking and something will open up. I always sign up a day before the appointment. Recommend everyone get tested and tested often so you can protect others! You never know if you might have it since not everyone will have symptoms. It is free with insurance so why not? Take care of yourself and be considerate of others.

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR (HOANG TRAN NGUYEN / NGUYEN TRAN HOANG)!…read more I'm writing this note while I'm the ER for broken legs. He and his office pressures patients into getting knee injections from his office (they are usually one month long, two times per week, and every six months). The injections will ruin and weaken patients' bones, which leads to breakage. Both of my legs are now broken and I am non-ambulatory. Patients will feel great in the beginning (first shot), but not good after. If and when you tell the doctor and/or his team about the knee injections seem to be no good, they get upset and mistreat you after. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE... STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! If you still want to go, that is up to you. I just want to warn everyone.

DON'T RECOMMEND AT ALL…read more Very unprofessional, NO INTEGRITY/ ETHICS, & does not care about patients' wellbeing at all. ALL STAFF ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. If you have complaints about any of them, there doctor (HOANG TRAN NGUYEN) WILL KILL YOUR AND LET YOU DIE. HE WILL NO LONGER TREAT YOU. HE WILL REFUSE TO TREAT YOU AFTER ANY COMPLAINTS. Office hangs up on patients. Staff will tell you one thing and yell at you. After they know they are wrong, they will change their words, tell you that they were right & to make them right (and you were/are always wrong). Also, doctor will make you wait for hours to be seen (after you complain about him and his staff) when there are no other patients waiting at all. At the very first/start appointment, doctor and staff will get you screened for knee injections at their other office right away. TV is always the doctor talking - nothing else (no music, no news, etc.) - even if you do not want to watch him and want to watch something else. Will beg you to change your current pharmacy to their own owned pharmacy (CareJoy). Their pharmacy is also very unprofessional: delivery medications very late in the evenings (8pm/9pm), does not call you until they are there, does not update information correctly, does not transfer medications to any pharmacies, etc. When you tell the doctor about the difficulties and unprofessionalism of his pharmacy, he does not care and tells you that they are doing their job(s) (even if it is not correct or ethical), it is not their pharmacy's responsibility to make things easy on/for patients and they are a business and can do whatever they want and anything that benefits them. So basically, patients can just kick rocks. Doctor does not review patients profile before seeing patients. Gets upset and lectures patients for not reminding him of any current serious health conditions, treatments, etc. in order for him to prescribe medications that does not interfere with said current health conditions, treatments, etc. This was a first for me. Another first for me, doctor tells patients to eat, drink, and take whatever medications they like because everyone will eventually die anyway. I was just mind-blown.

I had to wait for almost an hour for me to get a room and several minutes to get a doctor after getting a room. The doctor I met is such a sweet lady. After checking, she saw that I needed antibiotics. She prescribed me some and after getting them, my incredibly scratchy throat died down after a few days.

I've been coming to this urgent care since around 2020 and have been a returning patient over the years. Until now, I've never had a reason to complain and have generally had positive experiences. This visit, however, was very disappointing. I scheduled what was advertised as an "appointment" through the urgent care's website, expecting that my reserved time would reduce my wait. After arriving, checking in, and waiting for over 30 minutes, I asked the receptionist about the delay. I was then told that the appointment doesn't actually begin until you physically check in at the clinic, meaning patients are essentially placed into the same queue as walk-ins. What concerns me most is that this information was not made clear when I scheduled online. Instead, the explanation was provided only after I arrived at the clinic through a notice at check-in. In my opinion, that's too late. If an online "appointment" does not reserve a specific place in line or appointment time, that should be clearly disclosed on the website before patients book--not after they've already taken time out of their day to come in. To me, advertising an appointment system without clearly explaining how it actually works is misleading. Patients reasonably expect that an appointment reserves a time for them. If the process is really first come, first served after check-in, that should be communicated upfront so people can make an informed decision. Many people choose urgent care instead of the emergency room because they want timely care for non-emergency issues. A scheduling system that functions like a walk-in line defeats that purpose and creates unnecessary frustration. As someone who has been a loyal, returning patient for years, this experience has unfortunately changed my opinion of this clinic. Because of this policy and the lack of transparency, I no longer feel comfortable returning. It's disappointing to say, but they have lost my business. I'm sharing my experience so others know what to expect, and I sincerely hope the clinic improves its communication by being honest and transparent about how its scheduling process actually works. Patients deserve accurate information before they book an appointment--not after they've already arrived.

Dr. Dang is patient, kind, and genuinely committed to making sure his patients receive the care they need. My parents have several age‑related health concerns, and he has helped stabilize their conditions with consistent monitoring and thoughtful treatment. With his thorough checkups and attentive care, my parents are the healthiest they've been in years. His front office staff is also wonderful. They're professional, efficient, and truly some of the sweetest people you'll meet. I noticed some negative reviews and wanted to address them. The longer wait times happen because Dr. Dang doesn't rush appointments. He listens, he explains, and he gives real guidance. That level of care takes time. When it's your turn, he'll give you the same attention, so patience is part of the experience. As for frequent visits throughout the year, that's simply responsible medical care. Your body changes, medications need adjusting, and regular follow‑ups ensure everything is still working as intended. Some people don't seem to understand that this is how good healthcare works. If I could give more stars, I would. Highly recommend.

My wife and I chose Dr. Tiffany Chen after extensive research. We loved her relaxing calm demeanor…read moreand her confidence. I have taken a little while to write this review as it's been a crazy month with Covid taking its toll on the country. My wife and I are 45, and this was our 5th and final attempt to have a baby with IVF. Dr. Chen was very aware of how invested we were and took very good care of us all the way through. We decided to induce a week early on 3-8-2020. We went in on 3-7 to start the ripening of the cervix. By 10 PM on 3-8 everything was starting to move and my wife got her epidural. Dr. Chen was on a 24 hour shift and was scheduled to leave at 7 AM. We knew this and were getting anxious to have our baby and have Dr. Chen deliver her. At 7 Dr. Chen came in and said she wanted to stay a little longer after her shift because she was so invested with us and our baby. By 9 AM things were starting to move. At 9:40 our daughter got caught in the birth canal. Shoulder dystocia happens when the baby's shoulder gets caught behind the mother's pubic bone. Within seconds Dr. Chen went into action, she declared it an emergency and at least a dozen people started running into our room. I was pushed aside and five people started working on getting our baby out as quickly as possible as she was being starved of oxygen. As brief background, my sister's son had the same birth issue, but was caught in the birth canal too long. He spent 36 days at Children's Hospital after a life flight from Yakima. He almost died a couple times and we were told he would be mentally handicapped for life, etc. He turned out fine, but we were very aware of what can happen with shoulder dystocia. During this entire ordeal Dr. Chen stayed calm, while I did not, and she had our daughter out in less than a minute and a half. She immediately handed her to the emergency personnel that had ran into help and it took them a 1:45 to get her to start breathing. She had the breathing mask on and everything. The second she made her first cry our hearts started beating again. She was pulled out and resuscitated so quickly that she had zero issues despite her traumatic birth. We came to find out that Dr. Chen's office practices this technique weekly to prepare for this kind of emergency. We feel as though we owe our daughter's health to Dr. Chen. Had she not stayed almost four hours after her shift and had she not practiced this emergency procedure to the extent that she had, we feel that we would have been in the same predicament that my sister went through with an extended hospital stay and fighting to keep our baby alive. If you read this Dr. Chen, we are forever grateful for you and your attention to us. Our daughter is wonderful and we owe a lot of that to you. Thank you from the fullness of our hearts.
