I've gotten I think 5 repairs here and they have either made the instrument worse by introducing a new issue or just not helping the issue at all. I recently went there for a repair for my instrument (a woodwind with a reed) and they even gave me the repair for free! Uh, new problem, my instrument now sounds like shit and is super airy. They also claimed that there was actually a note that wasn't working and that they fixed it?? Spoiler alert, I used to be able to play the note, NOW I CANT AT ALL! Awesome! It makes the instrument squeak I will probably continue coming here for stands, reeds, etc. but I think I'm done coming here for repairs

This review is late incoming, but better late than never. Kevin went through my Marantz 2238…read morereceiver which over time, I suppose began to drop output from one channel. Additionally, the old incandescent lights which lit up the dial window weren't working as they shouls. The repair was made in September 2019. It was done in relatively very good time (considering he is a one man operation with plenty of work, apparently) and also Kevin replaced the old dial indicator lightbulbs with LED's. Receiver works perfectly after more than two years since the repairs were made. I couldn't be happier.

After removing the cover and opening the unit up I was horrified to see the shoddy soldering hack job that was done on my valuable unit. He screwed up my right side amp, the cleaning he charged for didn't happen, he didn't replace any of the common caps that a forty year old Marantz needs.
