Came to get a facial done with Mitra the facial included for first time client one hour Facial included steam, exfoliation, extraction, dermabrasion, massage, mask, LED light therapy and cooling hammer. DO NOT come here for hair color, they don't know much about hair color, very disappointed

So I didn't want to right this review just cuz of the fact that I felt bad to do this but if I don't do this review I would be lying to myself. So I came in here couple months back to check this place out but didn't want a hair cut cuz I just had one done I just wanted to know how much was the cut. They told me the price which was ok. So the other day I needed a cut again so I came here and the wait was no longer then 3 min cool!!! This older lady started to cuz my hair and we was talking about some stuff u know the usual and I explained what I wanted before she started, so she started to cut my hair we talking and then I see her face like ops she f***** up I was o no... She said she forgot what I wanted and cut most of my hair I was like omg. o well, I told her cut it all off now let me go bald never did it before but Ok! Any way she was so nervous until the end of the cut and I tried not to show emotions but I was pretty upset. Any way she then offered me no pay and she will cut my hair again for free to pay for her mistake I was like ok Now why I give 4 starts she was new there and she was super nice to me and the place looks good not gonna lie. It was also kinda my fault so that's the story think what u want out of this if u read it.. I think i might give them a second chance. Will see read more

When I used to live nearby, I wanted to try this new haircut place. I was gullible because their advertisement outside the store was nice. Once I got in I had to wait till the woman who would cut my hair was off break. I told her what I wanted for a hairstyle and she said she knew how to do it. I was crying on the inside because it turned out like Dora's (Dora the Explorer) hair. Both even on the sides including the back, as supposed to me wanting it as very short at the back and layered long on the sides with bangs on the left side. It was expensive and she did my haircut wrong. Ugh, my hair would grow back and I'll just stick to the hair salon I always go to not here. read more

I am super grateful and super excited that I chose Xpert colorist for my wedding. Leila did a wonderful makeup for me, I was so happy with it, because I like natural makeup and you can see the results in the pictures. Susan did my hair, Lida my eyelashes and I am telling you, it was the best experience ever. As you know brides are so nervous specially about their makeup, if it doesn't come out fine, it is like you had done everything in vain. Susan also did the groom's haircut! Which was really nice. Highly recommend this salon. First time today, definitely going back & will be sharing the blessing that this salon is. BAHAR is absolutely wonderful, the BEST colorist I have ever been to, which over the years includes some of the more famous salons in LA. Perfect, absolutely perfect blonde highlights throughout my long hair beautifully transforming my dull, faded brown hair. I haven't allowed anyone to cut or trim my hair in years, last time being a so-called trim that hacked off several inches. BAHAR did exactly what she showed me she would do, trimming off the dead ends but keeping my length, leaving my hair looking healthy & young appearing. My 21 year old son responded, "OH MY GOD MOM, YOU LOOK GORGEOUS!!!!" The best colorist I've experienced, Bahar, thank you!!!! Though I must add too that during my appointment I saw 4 ladies tended to by 3 other salon colorists & all 4 had beautiful results. Wow! I went in with a hair disaster - my hair was like 20 colors and semi-green (don't dye your hair unless you're an expert lol) Leo fixed my hair and dyed it the beautiful purple color I wanted. Susan is the BEST at cut, color, & blowdry. I have wavy, frizzy, & unmanageable hair. But every time susan blowdries my hair, I look like someone with smooth, silky, & beautiful hair, and I get so many compliments on my hair. Susan does magic with my hair & she AMAZE me each time. I followed the lady who did my high lights to her new salon on Winnetka and Sherman way Hair Fashion and Nail. Just got back from my second visit with Aze and I highly recommend her. I am a mom who rarely treats herself but the two times I have had my hair cut and colored by Aze I get so many compliments. My hair looks healthy and shiny. And she does exactly what I ask her to do which is so important when getting your hair done. I am really not a hard customer to please, and I think I am very understanding when it comes to emergencys and not being able to make an appt. HOWEVER, if you are not going to make the appointment, THE ONLY THING TO DO IS CALL - CALL CALL CALL I was a new client to Margy - and I was 10 minutes early for my appt. Which the front office women ( with no style sense to save her life btw ) kindly informed me of - By 5:40 I was turned off - and ready to walk but decided on 5 more minutes - 5:41 the front desk woman told me she would call her to find out where she was - She was on the freeway - at that point I decided that I obviously wasnt worth her time and was not going to spend my hard earned $$ on someone who obviously isnt in need of it =) She wanted to speak to me on the phone - but at that point what do you say ???? I declined to speak to her and left ..... She then proceeded to call my cell a few times to apologize - BLAH BLAH BLAH As for the rest of the salon - It didnt feel professional at all, The women who work their are not of the calibar that I would expect from a hair / nail salon / I was honestly turned off from the moment I walked in - But again , I believe in giving people a chance .... ManeJe "MIMI" was the best! I'm new in town and I had to take a leap of faith. I'm telling you this petite, power house is an ultimate colorist! She has more experience in her little finger probably than most hair stylists I've ever had touch my hair. She made the perfect match to blend my root lift and it is flawless. The comb out was gentle and respectful of my 2 foot in length locks, (something very important to me). Her shampoo was like a scalp massage and i felt revitalized afterward. I wish i had read all the reviews before walking into this HELL HOLE of a salon! Really i think they need to be closed down. I walked in without an appointment looking to do a cute semi updo, with a few curls for an event i had later that evening. My hair was damp from my shower that morning, so there was no need to wash it. After a SEMI blowdry, the lady (i think Kathy) started curling my hair. She finished curling and I asked if she can pin it up or put it up halfway and she couldn't manage to do it! IT didn't even seem like she wanted to try to either! She used a clip and put my hair up with bumps everywhere and she went looking for bobbypins for 10 mins while i sat in the chair looking at the curls go flat! (come on you're a salon shouldn't you have bobbypins everywhere! ) After being there for awhile i undid my hair with bumps and said i will figure something out at home! When i went up to pay her she had the nerve to charge me $45! I looked at her and said $45 for curls!!? And she told me (with an attitude) they charge $35 just for a blowdry! at this point i'm thinking I never asked you to blowdry my hair and if anything that should be included in the HAIR-DO! the same HAIR DO that she COULDN"T DO!! so i walked out of there with my full head of curls that were going flat--looking like a jungle woman! worst experience ever! This hair salon provides excellent customer service, ensuring that each customer is greeted and offered a drink (coffee, water, tea, etc.) to accommodate them. The location is also very clean and spacious! Mimi is an amazing employee who takes her time treating/caring for her client's hair and ensuring that the customer achieves a desirable look! I Started to go to this place to get my eyebrows done, and loved it. Kathy does a wonderful job treading eyebrows. Recently as well I had her do my touch ups and even got a hair cut. I got my eyelash extensions done by Leah and I feel like a princess. A bad ass princess. I'm really happy with the result. It's not as dramatic as the fake lashes but I love how natural it looks and I look pretty when I wake up. The work is on point so you'll have to make a reservation. The best part is getting superb quality in a fraction of the price. These eyelash extensions are seriously the greatest investment. Yay for pretty eyelashes!!! read more

This has absolutely have to be the worse place in the valley ... Horrible customer service , horrible employees ... I attempted to get my eyebrows tattooed .. I was told to return in 1 month for a retouch.. Ok fair enough .. When the month was up i could not reach her via text or call until i accidentally bumped into her at the salon .. REALLY?? By then the " tattoo" had faded .. Second time around was worse .. She actually tried to convince me that my body was just not accepting the ink or tattoo .. Are kidding me my whole body is full of tattoos .. The owner was of no help .. In fact in the middle of our discussions, she starts speaking in another language ( have no idea what she said) HOW RUDE IS THIS!! I was not requesting my money back at this time .. Leila is young and her experience adds a magical touch to my hair. I am cautious when choosing my stylist since this is my image and I like when my hair color is 100% right. I wouldn't give this place any stars if I had the opportunity. I had gone in for a haircut with my girlfriend, she was getting color done. I'm extremely cautious of who cuts my hair but my gf insisted I go with her. I saw a couple of young female stylists that looked like they knew what they were doing and when I requested them, this middle eastern woman, Susan, said "I'm sorry Honey. They cannot cut your hair, I can do it." I asked if there was anyone else, she pointed to 2 other older stylists but she was the younger of the 3 old stylists so I went with her even though my gut was saying stay away from the older stylist!!!! Terrible hack job! I wanted something young and fresh and she gave me an old and blah mullet with choppy layers. What makes it worse, she colored my girlfriend's hair and messed that up too. I had to accompany her back to the salon the following day and when we asked Susan to fix it, she said, "What? No. I think this is good. You look great!" When my girlfriend said she wasn't happy, Susan said "I'm sorry there's nothing I can do." When we insisted we speak to the manager or owner, she replied, "I am the owner." I would not recommend this place ESPECIALLY when the owner doesn't even know what she's doing! read more
