I'm sorry but Art just doesn't cut hair very well. He left my hair uneven, with the left side being longer by an inch or so. I tried pointing it out to him, & he was like "impossible." We went to get our highlights done and the lady doing our hair was doing 3 people at the same time, the shop was about to close around 8 pm and Linda asked us to walk out, WITH the aluminum foil on our head at 730pm. Like really?! We are paying 200$ for this customer service???? And you being rude to your costumers. Anyway, anyone reading please save yourself some energy and take your business to someone who cares, it's your hair and you don't want a rush process and your hair end up looking like a thick tiger stripe. Of course I went to Yelp and after reading multiple reviews on different salons, I found Linda's. This salon is in a tiny shopping center which is really hard to miss, but it is FANTASIC. Not only is it reasonable, but the staff is very friendly. From the moment I was greeted, I was offered coffee and was introduced to Arthur. Arthur took to the time to discuss what I wanted and offered a few suggestions. I made an appointment on a Saturday to see Art for color, highlights and cut. My friend had gone to him and had beautiful results. When I got there, Linda greeted me and was very warm and friendly. Art soon cane out and introduced himself and they assessed I had some damage going on. Both Art and Linda recommended I get a conditioning treatment before we hit the bleach. I agreed it was a better idea to treat my hair prior to color and bleach. I left the salon with a conditioning treatment in my hair. I waited a few hours at home and rinsed it out. They were right! What a difference it made to the texture and softness of my hair. I went back tonight to get my color and highlights and both Art and Linda worked on my hair together. She did the highlights while he worked the color. What nice people. Art has many funny stories to tell and Linda is truly special.
