She went there to figure out how she wanted to do her nails for our wedding, and the nails were subpar at best. But the fact that she ended up with an infection means they either used dirty equipment or failed to properly sanitize their tools and surfaces. Her nails turned GREEN to the point she had to go to Urgent Care. This place seriously needs to be checked because this is completely unacceptable. Had Nikki before and she was great for a builder gel, but when I went back for a fill I received a different nail artist for a builder gel fill. I even attached my inspo picture beforehand. Unfortunately, after only 2 days one of my nails already began chipping. I also asked for the French tip to be thicker, but the nail artist was snappy and told me "this is what the picture looked like." This update is long overdue! Last time I rated, I gave them a 2 due to a single bad experience I had during that visit. I'll let you know I have been back multiple times since and every time it's been five stars. They are all so sweet and do a great job. My last pedicure lasted so long! I just left 25 mins ago from another amazing deluxe gel pedicure. Also, I am of a darker complexion and I've never felt uncomfortable or have been made to pay more like a few of these reviews have said. I'd say give them a try. It seems like the employees lack communication among one another. I booked a gel manicure via Class Pass with an add on of Gel X Nails. The manicurist doing my nails filed them and then proceeded to put on the Gel X Nails. When I asked her to clean/cut my cuticles she told me that it is an additional $10. Manicures are supposed to include trimming of the cuticles and it clearly states on the Class Pass app that the Gel Manicure includes "File, Shape, Cuticle Trim / softening, lotion and massage." I told her that it is suppose to be included and then she said that "you don't even have any cuticles" and proceeded with the Gel X application. She didn't even verify the service that I booked with the receptionist. She just didn't feel like doing it. The environment in the shop seems very rushed. I requested a simple French tip, but ended up with overly thick, uneven nails and a crooked line. When I pointed it out, she responded with excuses instead of addressing the issue. I didn't have time to go back and forth. Just two days later, 3-4 nails have already popped off. Gel-X is not a press-on--it should be durable and done with care. I've been to this nail salon three times now. The first two times were amazing--the ladies who did my nails exceeded my expectations, and I left super happy both times. That's why I went back on Friday March 21st, expecting the same great experience. Unfortunately, this time was completely different. I showed the nail tech a picture of exactly what I wanted--thin, elegant French tips. While the color was spot on, the shape and design were way off. Instead of the thin shape I asked for, she made them round, and the French tips were thick, uneven, and not at all like the photo. On top of that, the nails are lifted and bulging. When I later mentioned my disappointment, I was asked why I didn't say anything earlier so they could fix it. The truth is, I was really upset in the moment and didn't want to make a scene or get emotional. I also didn't have the time to wait for a redo, and I'm not available to go back . Since I couldn't return to have them fixed, I asked if they could offer a discount on my next service, but they only offered $10 off. Update: Thank you for answering to my post. The brown to my nails was due to her using glue instead of hard gel. I don't doubt the nail artist knows what she is doing but this design she did not. I soaked for much longer than 30 min. I did ask how you would fix gel x as once it's on it's on. This isn't like acrylic where you can drill off and continue to add. Trying to fix it and talk about it was calling me 5 times after 8pm. When I was told no one could take me or redo the set. I would appreciate the business taking accountability instead of pursuing the customer to attack them like I was during trying to resolve this process. I should've just told her I didn't like it on the spot and looked at the pictures on here for dissatisfied costumer's with nail art. I loved this place. I dont think it's fair to blame customers for the nail artists short comings... because again I was attacked I came to update my review. Lovely business killer manicures and pedicures. I'm so glad I did a bunch of research to find this little spot... I've been trying to find a nail salon that is not charging exorbitant prices. Inflation be getting everybody right now... I am a grown A$$ woman with two jobs... Professional jobs... And I cannot afford prices. These nail salons are charging nowadays. I found this place and it had good reviews... They said that you can get any short gel X with gel polish for $50... I called them to see if they could get me in last minute... They accommodated me. The whole experience was pretty awesome to be honest. The front desk girl was extremely patient and accommodating... Do you know when you go into a nail salon sometimes and they act like you're literally a burden and that they could not be bothered with you? Could not be this place. Very accommodating. Very clean. Very nice. Went out of their way to make sure that I got the exact color/opacity that I was looking for. They even have cute little phone holders at the manicure station and they made me feel super super comfortable while getting my nails done.
