I came to Allied Tax Experts because I owed around $32,000 in taxes from pulling money out of my IRA, plus I had several years I had not filed. I was getting letters from IRS and was getting pretty worried. Angelina called IRS for me and worked things out and got everything straightened out. I am so thankful for her help and I can breath much better now. read more

I am extremely happy with the services from Xoa Tax. I was referred to them by my aunt and dad, and I was honestly so impressed by their professionalism right off the bat. I've had my taxes done somewhere else before for the same price, but there was a clear difference in how they operate. They updated me for different steps, provided clear instructions and documents needed. I especially appreciated their excel sheet they sent me. They are very responsive via text and email, so it was easy to communicate with them whenever I needed! I definitely appreciate their service and how helpful they were! Definitely would recommend! read more

Eric answered all my questions I had about my taxes which I appreciated. I was not a fan about just talking through email since it took awhile to go back and forth. Personally would rather be in person and talk but that's just my preference. Submitting my info through a portal was easy and fast. D read more

One of the best firms that I was fortunate to speak to and find. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful with my concern. Upon taking my message, she promptly called back within the promised time and gave me a clear answer to my case. The front desk I spoke to clearly explained the steps if I wanted consultation or if I wanted to do tax with them in the future. In addition, they called to follow up this week to see if I have any further questions. How sweet and kind! They are super polite and professional to work with. Overall, highly recommend Xoa Tax and their team! read more

I was going try online tax return 2023 year with the usual organization like TurboTax or taxslayer but unfortunately their representatives told me that I needed to amended my 2022 due to errors with property rental declaration. The bummer was they didn't want to help me at all and I feel like they don't have the expertise as they should to help me. Luckily I found XOA tax service with CPA agents who happily accepted my case. They were able to process my issues but the BIG surprise was they were able to get an 2023 estimate refund of few thousand dollars for me. The price is a bit more than the usual tax return service but it is worth it if you have a complicated tax return cases. It took sometimes to process so please plan your timeline careful and don't expect to get a instant result but you will get your tax return professionally done and have no worry about getting issues like I did Highly recommended read more

I've been filing my taxes here for the last three years and each year has been a pleasant experience. In a nut shell: if you're looking for professionalism, timeliness and quality, look no further. The good folks here are very communicative and will answer every question you have. They make sure all your documents and information are in order, and if you forget a form or document, sending it to them is very easy. I love that I can simply text, call, or email and someone gets back to me in a timely manner. I started taking my mom here last year and it's been a smooth process for her as well. As far as cost, I'm not too familiar with the cost across other CPA firms, but I believe the pricing here was fair, though I'm sure this can vary based on the complexity of your tax situation. In any case, I thought pricing was more than affordable. Overall, I only have positive things to say. I'll be back next year! read more

I was expecting a call at a time that this company suggested. When they didn't call, I followed up to making sure they would still be calling me and they said they would but they still didn't. When I followed up again stating that the time had passed. He apologized and asked if they could reschedule for another day?! I don't understand why he couldn't just call me if he had the opportunity to keep texting me back and forth. I believe they are using AI bots .. wasted my time .. moving on with other companies. read more

"I have been working with XOA Tax to file my personal and business taxes for three years. Celine Huynh and her company do an excellent job. My case was very complicated, I have my own S corporation, a full-time job, and a new house as my office and residence. They not only helped me file my tax return but also gave me good advice to organize my accounts. They promptly emailed me when new tax policies came out, helped me file some forms that I should submit annually for free, and solved my tax problems that made mistakes by the State of California FTB instantly for free. A CPA explained every detail of tax filing in great detail to me in 2022. I appreciate what they did for me, and recommend XOA to anyone who needs Tax or account servic read more

I've worked with my tax preparer for years, but he is no longer available... I didn't know where to turn for help with taxes....But luckliy Hoang was highly recommended by my old CPA ...now I know the reason !! He is young and energetic but has a deep understanding of tax. He helped me out on an amendment from a previous tax year & he helped with last years taxes during the off season. Many tax preparers close up for late filing, but he was available. Going to a new tax preparer can be awkward and they are often clinical/mechanical in their approach or interaction with you. Hoang is much nicer than other tax preparers I have been to, which helped make the process less frustrating and more pleasant. Today, I am grateful for meeting Hoang and having him as my new trusted CPA. It was lucky day for me and I plan to continue going to this accountant year after year read more

Another tax season successfully taken care of by XOA team. Having my business, payroll and individual returns nicely done for the third time now and not once did I ever receive anything less than top-notch service from everyone. I understand I am not a perfect client and not all of my previous tax practices are horrible, but with XOA I can never be more grateful that we found each other. They are truly someone what I wished to have in my journey: 1) they ask, 2) they listen, 3) they answer 4) they deliver. And I think a lot of business owners do share the same expectation. Having worked with different staffs throughout the years, I was never in doubt the quality of their work be lessen in any way, if not more. That is one big plus from management and one of the reasons I am confident to assure you that in the near future, this team will go places. read more

I would give them zero stars if I could. My tax took over almost 2 months to be completed. I paid $280 for my services and mind you, my documents is very straight forward. I met with my preparer to submit my documents. He told me I have to pay the fees upfront via zelle which I thought was odd since service has not even started. After they made copies and took my payment, it took them weeks to respond with open items via email. The open items was on an excel list and they request to respond on that excel list. No coutesty call or nothing. I'm not saying my $280 is a lot but service and communication like this is my first time seeing and so laughable. After my documents was completed they explained to me that the tax for this year has been extended so I still fall within the deadline. Yeah it's extended but does it really take u that long to finish my taxes? I had a few questions on my tax and hoping the actual CPA would reach out to me directly to explain my taxes, but nope. The preparaer/ tax accountant became middle man and advise me what the CPA told him. He couldn't even explain in detail what the CPA recommended. Although my documents was reviewed by a CPA but the CPA didnt reach out to me for questioning. After all that, they sent me my files via email for signature. So if you're not tech savvy, and responsive to emails, I suggest u stay away. Never again I will come back. Service and communication is shitty. If u really need CPA advice and actually want to see them in person to ask questions, please go somewhere else. There's no person to person interaction. Everything processed here is electronically. What a waste of time! Update: The response from the manger said I was disrespectful to the team. Please provide evidence that I was and in what ways? Don't play the victim game. It's not very professional. You can reach out to me and I will personally give you the details. I would like you to provide me evidence for calling me being disrespectful to your team members. Thank you! read more

I contacted Xoa Tax this year because I was getting ready to sell a property. I figured out through my own independent research that the accountant I had been working with, if given accurate information about when and how to sell the house, may have given me some bad advice. The capital gains taxes I was facing could have been avoided if I had been given sound advice a few years prior. I reached out to Hoang, and within 15 minutes he was able to assess the situation and understand my problems.Although his fee was much higher than other competitors, I decided to give him the opportunity due to his excellent Yelp reviews and great conversation on the phone. Hoang helped me take care of everything at the office, and I didn't have anything to do but worry about my tax payment. I felt confident that my taxes were handled properly since he's an great CPA. A month or so after I paid the property taxes, the county notified me. Apparently there is a retroactive tax that I needed to pay. When I talked about it with Hoang, she said that my old accountant had been using the wrong number for calculating how much my home was worth. He then filed my amendment for free, which ended up saving me a lot of money. Pros: 1. Exceptionally responsive via email. I never waited more than 3 business hours for a reply. 2. Quick to assess a situation and knows which questions to ask. 3. Will answer your questions in a timely manner regardless of the topic. Cons: 1. Cant think of anything now, could be the lack of face-to-face communication but I can live with that as long as my concern is addressed promptly. I'll be coming back to Xoa Tax and recommending them to every person I know read more

Hoang helped me to file my 2020 Tax Returns. He first explained the steps involved in filing and how to best plan for future taxes. During the filing process, he explained every detail and what those numbers were. My point is that you don't need to ask any questions because he explains everything before you have a chance to ask! Before sending my tax to the IRS, he reviewed the final numbers and helped me calculate what I could receive by choosing different options. It was my first time meeting Hoang, but he made me feel like an old friend. He is knowledgeable, energetic and sharp to help you with any questions or requests. At the end of my meeting, I left feeling happy and satisfied. Highly Recommended read more

I was impressed with the straightforward tax preparation service I received. Although my taxes are typically simple this year's situation was more complex than I could handle alone. I contacted Hoang and he responded very promptly. The cost was a bit higher than expected but ultimately worthwhile for the expertise and efficiency provided. I submitted all of my documentation and my taxes were completed just two weeks later. I knew I would owe taxes this year and was dreading the process so I'm grateful it was handled smoothly and quickly. Hoang also provided helpful suggestions for planning my tax payments next year.
