New business owner, inquiring about bookkeeping services. Initial consultation was with Mark who was prompt, practical, and polite. Mark provided me with outstanding realistic advice and guided me the correct way in approaching bookkeeping as a business owner. A fair recommendation is to at least understand how bookkeeping works for at least 1-2 months before deciding you need to seek a professional. Mark did not exhibit any predatory tactics and genuinely looked out for me, explaining what he thought was best for me during my current stage of opening my business. Irvine Bookkeeping also provides tax services in terms of quarterly business tax filings. Highly recommend for transparency and competency!! read more

This is a review of the initial consultation experience provided by David from Irvine Bookkeeping. I initially reached out to Irvine Bookkeeping to seek out help with cleaning up the books of our family-owned small business-- but upon spending some time in a lengthy discussion, we found that the actual scope of the project was well beyond what we had allotted for in budget. David was very patient and understanding, as well as professional in our discussion-- giving very candid feedback on what his team could reasonably achieve with our budget and what would make the most sense for both us (the client) as well as for his team. As part of the accounting profession myself, I am very pleased to know that David is very knowledgeable in his area of expertise-- and that he does not unnecessarily upsell any of his team's services. I had an incredibly pleasant consultation meeting with David and Joy, and came out of it with effective and valuable insight. I would also like to say that given my knowledge of billing practices, the quoted fee was reasonable for the scope of the project. Although we are unable to contract services from Irvine Bookkeeping at this time, I recommend anyone seeking out bookkeeping services to give them a call. read more

This review is about my experience with David from Irvine Bookkeeping. I went into looking for a bookkeeper to take over some of the issues and concerns I had on a business I co-own because I had specific things to review. I was ready to go in looking for a full time bookkeeping service, and I was glad that David was responsive and took his time to understand my business before committing to a proposal. Initially, because I had asked, he provided a quote for the full bookkeeping service; however, upon further discussions and understanding my business responsibilities, he recommended that I don't go the full bookkeeping service route since the needs of the business only really require a consultation-based approach. This would have saved me a lot of money. The basic idea is if you are looking for an honest bookkeeping company that's supportive of your business, look no further than to talk to Irvine Bookkeeping. They provide excellent service and are transparent and honest in their recommendations. read more

Tammy and her team are an absolute essential element to my law firm. We are on pace to hit 7-figures this year, and I am able to obtain financial reports promptly on every Monday for all YTD revenue and costs (including other customizable reports in my weekly financial reporting packet). They are able to promptly and accurately provide me a 3-way reconciliation report for my IOLTA account as well! This is done on a weekly basis. I actually just got off the phone will Tammy too, and we're working on more detailed projects to hone in our financial reporting. GREAT!!! As I have full confidence in utilizing them for whatever they can do. If you have any doubt on whether or not to hire Tammy and her team, STOP. Just make the call and pull the trigger and save yourself some time and a huge headache (and possible disbarment for improper handling of your IOLTA)! read more

There are alternatives on Yelp with bookkeeping and it's strenuous to sort through all the options to find the almost perfect fit firm that can help me to organize my financial records. After a few searches, I received a response from Tammy within minutes amid a few other professionals commencing to assist, so it was a difficult decision to choose one. Tammy immediately initiated to give me a call the next day and within minutes into the conversation, I specifically knew she would be the perfect person to provide a service that was essential to me. I like how direct and truthful when she engaged my circumstances before taking on the proposal. After a few exchanged communications, I felt supplemented with confidence based on Tammy's competence with the arrangement to support the request that was foreign in my expression. Instantly, she simplified the methods to build a better understandable language for both of us to think in a similar fashion. This is exceptionally important of professionalism and I'm grateful to discover Tammy through Yelp. As a small business owner to have received many referrals over the last ten years, it makes a huge impact to build a long-term relationship when an individual or an organization is ideal for a project. Therefore, I highly recommend Tammy and her team for all your financial and bookkeeping necessities. read more

For me it was a crucial thing when deciding to switch accounting service or tax service. I needed someone who I can trust and my business requires fast pace process whenever needed. I've been keeping an eye open on such a company until I came across Irvine Bookkeeping, a company introduced by a friend. I've been in a wholesale business for six years but I've been using Irvine Bookkeeping services since the start of their business. My previous accountant cannot be compared to their services for several reasons that I've noticed as these were also my concerns in the beginning: 1. Calls being answered? - My calls are answered as soon as possible. (Very important when you need something like a statement or any sort of paperwork for banks) 2. Services being considerate or helpful? - My general questions regarding my businesses book and tax are answered with tips and advice. (Of course this is when I actually utilized their service) 3. Price range, am I comfortable between price and quality? - Prices are straight out with no hidden fees or extra charge. They basically let you know what they charge and weather you really need the type of service or not. 4. Experience, I am worried if they can handle my business? - So far they have proven to me that they do have experience to handle my business. 5. Is it easy to make an appointment or is there still a wait? - Appointments are available with no waits. Unlike, busy big companies, I feel important to them. 6. How do I retrieve my documents? Can I do it online? But is it safe? - For those who are tech savy, they have a secured portal especially used for each of their clients to download or upload documents to each other. For those who are still traditional, no worries, they provide actual documentation on tax and bookkeeping. These were all the questions that popped up in my mind whenever I think of switching bookkeeping company. I told them what I need, what I expect, and how I would like to manage it. By far, Irvine Bookkeeping had suited my needs. Service is good, pace is fast, experienced with professionalism. read more

I own a auto repair shop, and I couldn't do both. I would recommend their service to anyone. If you need a bookkeeper don't go any where else. I trust them wholeheartedly. Tammy generously gave her personal time to assist me, all without accepting compensation. Re QuickBooks, we had an issue where we had to correct some entries from last fiscal year. My bookkeeper was out of town and we had a deadline to correct the entries. I had called IIrvine Bookkeeping to simply ask how to perform these actions in QB and offered to pay. Instead of answering my questions Tammy asked if we could Zoom into my desktop and she would show me and also complete the actions. And she scheduled for 500pm, aka personal or family time. When we did meeting online she was quick but patient, allowed me to ask questions and take notes. Finally she refused payment. We are so surprised and grateful for her generosity and patience the least we could do is recommend Irvine Bookkeeping. Strongly suggest you give them a try. I'm not even a current client and was treated with outstanding service so it's easy to extrapolate what level of service I would receive if I was a client. Thank you Tammy. read more
