Edward is the best! Stop searching for a a tax preparer and come here!…read more I was behind on filing my taxes (yes, I know it's October!) and was having a hard time finding the "perfect" place to help me file them quickly and hassle free. Of course, I was also looking to see who would be able to help me maximize my savings and not charge me an arm and a leg for being late in the year + doing multiple years at once. I found MacTax Solutions via Yelp after submitting a project request. My request was simple, I said what l needed and asked for price estimates based on my situation as well as asked a couple of questions. Edward from MacTax Solutions was the first to respond to my request and he provided me with everything I requested plus more! He gave me an estimated quote based on what I had provided but he also asked me additional questions to make sure I was getting the help I actually needed. He also gave me the option to continue remotely or in person! Once we got the details settled, Edward confirmed again the pricing and I was all set to continue. I decided to do the remote option and it truly made my whole experience a great one. I was able to submit all my required paperwork through their secure app where I also had access to seeing the forms he was completing for me. He was very communicative with me throughout the whole process and even walked me through all the paperwork over the phone before payment was even requested. The reason I chose them was due to all the other businesses not offering me any estimated pricing or even acknowledging my requests. All other places (and I'm not exaggerating) sent me basic and generic messages asking me to either call them to schedule an appointment or to let them know what day/time I could go into their office. Look no further and give them a try! I definitely found my place moving forward and will recommend them to my friends and family.

The office can be a little difficult to find as it's not visible from the parking lot, but it's worth it (get there a few minutes early for a cushion). The directory towards the left end of the shopping center will direct you beyond the double glass doors and to the right end down the second row. I was lucky enough to be taken care of by Ryan- a total professional who will walk you through the process in an easy to understand way. I was nervous of filing with having a new job, new address and claiming my baby for the first time, but I immediately felt at ease with Ryan. He is very transparent and helpful with any questions you have about the process. The appointment took about 40 minutes and I was on my way with a great refund coming to me! I am certain I received my maximum refund with them. I'm telling my friends and family to make an appointment asap. Book an appointment through the consultation link in their Yelp profile. Bonus: The office is super clean and the staff is friendly :)

Michelle took the time to ask detailed questions and really understand our situation instead of just rushing through the process. She looked at every detail, even asking about things we never realized could make a difference, like work uniform expenses and other deductions we had never been guided through before. It was clear she genuinely cared about helping us maximize our benefits and do things correctly. For the first time ever, we are not owing this year, and that alone felt amazing. Beyond that, Michelle also gave us valuable advice for the future, including how to adjust our W-4 so our withholdings are set up properly moving forward. This was truly an unforgettable experience.
