For the planning, she really kept us on track especially when we got sidetracked which happened a lot (we had our baby four months prior to the wedding date). On the wedding day, she made sure that we were able to relax and not have to worry about anything! Even with the hiccups that happened with the rental company (broken glass chargers, missing items, etc.) she handled them appropriately and was able to adjust some of the tables settings where we had no clue anything happened and that it wasn't noticeable to the guests. She even continued after the wedding day was over to contact the rental company to get us a refund for the items. When I had issues with the valet not letting my makeup artist to valet (said they were too full and valet was for hotel guests only - Laguna Beach street parking is horrendous), all I had to do was make a quick call to Wendi and she handled the situation and my makeup artist was able to come up right away. I really can't say enough about her and her team. Her professionalism and the way she handled us, our wedding party (12 people), the vendors, how she coordinated with the dj, photographer and videographer was top notch. You won't be disappointed to have them handle any event and I can't recommend them enough!

Our guests have told us that they were blown away and were thankful to have attended such a glamorous, fun and memorable event. Now all of this couldn't of been possible without Kelsey and her team at Kelsey Events. From our first encounter with her, we knew she had the confidence and drive to help us with our big day, so we hired her! She carefully helped us out months before our wedding with the planning and process. We had the chance to meet a couple of times in person before the wedding and were always able to contact her through email, phone and text. It was awesome to know when deadlines should be met to develop a timeline especially for a 300-350 guest list. As the big day grew closer, Kelsey was there during the vendor walk-thru at the reception site as a sort of ring leader to move us through the process and get everything coordinated. She also helped us out with all of the legalities and contracts that had to be completed by each vendor as well as ourselves. Kelsey even showed up at our wedding rehearsal where she didn't need to be but it was assuring for us that she wanted to know the whole scope of the big day - kudos to her! She has a thorough and detailed work ethic which enables her to be on point while keeping the bride and groom cool, calm and collected - after all, we're virgins in this realm while she's a seasoned vet! BIG DAY! So when the big day finally came, Kelsey and her team were able to pick up items from us for the reception site at the butt crack 'o' dawn so they could expedite the set up process. She had all of the vendors contact information to make sure that they arrived in a timely manner to do what they were hired to do while making sure the bridal party was getting ready in time for photography. Kelsey also made sure the bridal party was on time and coherent with the game plan - that meant we couldn't get drunk which was a good thing! We already wanted to party but she made sure the business of love got handled first. After the wedding ceremony, we were blown away at the look and feel of our wedding reception - all of that planning and hard work were present and it was nice to see that pie fully baked! Kelsey made sure the next series of events were on time like: introductions, first dance, speeches, cake cutting, video, etc. When guests were trying to figure out where to place the present/card if they had one for us, Kelsey not only took care of that but also made sure that when the mail box/gift area of cards were full, she emptied it out and put those gifts in a safe place making sure we would receive those at the end of the evening - one of those unexpected things you don't think about and it's a good thing too! In the wee hours of the morning, once the guests vacated the venue, Kelsey helped us clear the venue of all our personable valuables and then the night was finally over. Some people say that your wedding day goes by so fast, for us it was a longgggggg day! Ultimately Kelsey is a consummate professional and we'd recommend her ten-fold especially at The Vibiana where we held our wedding reception. However, I was gently nudged by my friend to attend a NYE soirée planned by Nicole, the owner of Gianola Events. This was 2 years ago & I still to this day talk about how it was the absolute best NYE party I attended in all of my life. So, you check in & upon arrival, you are given gold & glittery snap bracelets. Yes! 1 star for creativity. You enter & are offered hors d'oeuvres right off the bat as you walk by a table of customized NYE headbands, hats, & boas!!! Another 3 stars for wow factor!!! As I proceed, there is a large complimentary bar of the good champagne!!! 5 stars for the good stuff!!! And, they make cocktails!!!! Ahhh, perfection! I continue to walk around and stumble upon the cheese & cracker & dessert table & to a beautiful patio lighted and strewn with warming lamps!!! I'm pretty impressed and am enjoying the ambiance. My mind has already been blown, but can't say no to freshly poured champagne poured by a lady who is hanging from a giant aerial ring!!! The night continues and an area is cleared on the dance floor, I kid you not... women in white feather outfits, the Vegas ladies... not even sure what they're called perform and it's amazing!!!
