We recently purchased a home on Amelia Island and drove our 2016 MB GLE350 down from New York to…read morespend a few weeks. Since it was last serviced by My MB dealer, I put a total of 3,600 miles on the car. Since I have been working from home, I have not been doing a lot of driving. Several days after arrival, I noticed an irregular vibration coming from the engine while at a red light and the check engine light went on. When speaking with friends and neighbors, they all indicated that if I wanted to get the car serviced on the island I should go see the Corbin's. Corbin's specialty is European built cars and they will get to the bottom of whatever is wrong and fix it. I went down on Monday morning and arrived just before 8:00 am, the listed time the business opened. Needles to say, upon arrival it appeared as if they had been open for hours and the mechanics seemed to be elbow deep in their work. So much for hoping to get the car looked at before the action started! I went into the office and detailed for Mrs. Corbin what I saw as the issue. I was advised that their business was primarily by appointment and at the present time they were down one service technician. I was offered an appointment for Wednesday morning at 8:00. When I brought the car in, I also requested that they order a replacement rear windshield wiper which had gone missing. In talking to one of the mechanics, he noticed the car was indicating the key fob battery needed to be replaced and said he would take care of that as well. When I returned later, I was told the engine was fine, it only required an adjustment of a setting. They replaced the battery in the key fob as indicated. I was told the wiper parts had not come, but they would have it in a day or two. When I had asked for a bill, I was told not to worry about it, it was nothing! Besides, they knew I was coming back for the wiper and I could pay for the wiper at that time. Sure enough, I went back two days later, late in the afternoon and the part was available and installed in 15 minutes! I have always had my cars serviced by the dealer, so this was a new experience. The Corbin's did a great job and solved my problem. More import, I was left feeling confident everything was back in good order. As I am intending to relocate permanently to Amelia Island within the next 12 months; it is great to know I will have access to a knowledgeable & professional group of mechanics. Besides, I like the idea of supporting a local family owned business. So if you are in need of a mechanic on Amelia Island for your Audi, BMW or Mercedes; look no further than Corbin's Automotive.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! Last month I called this place…read moreand talked to Brett to advise I have a small coolant leak, told him it was not overheating just a gradual small leak and front windshield wiper not working. He asked me to drop it off so I did on a Saturday, left keys in drop box. So I did not hear from him until the following Wednesday so when we talked he said most likely the water pump and thermostat so told him that he replaced it less than 3 years ago and after several conversations he said I had to provide proof he did work since he says to me that he has never did work on my Audi there, told him I had it there when he was buying the place from his uncle but again he says he's never touched my vehicle. So finally after a week he was able to find the receipt in his system that he did indeed do the work but says has not been able to even look at the car. So I said you are just telling me it's the water pump and thermostat without even opening the hood. So I called Audi headquarters and they told me that if those were replaced less than 3 years ago no way they could be bad so I called Brett back he said it wasn't those parts after all.Grant it now this going on the 2nd week he has had my car and hasn't even lifted the hood to diagnose it but wanted to authorize a new pump and thermostat. So then he finally calls me back to say that it's 2 hoses and waiting for Audi to send him the diagram so can order the correct hoses which are about 200.00 each so total to fix would be about 1200.00 so myself and Dan whom is my boyfriend who Brett did not like me conferencing him in the call each time we spoke so we told him to replace the hoses but Brett insisted that we put a new water pump in and new thermostat because he said he didn't like to put old parts back in BUT WE TOLD HIM VERY CLEARLY TO PUT THOSE PARTS BACK IN, IF NOT BROKEN THEN NO REASON TO REPLACE so he tells Dan he had bigger jobs he had to do first which told us that he was getting more money from those cars since would only be getting 1200.00 from us. Then Brett calls us after 3 weeks of having my car and now it would be 3700.00 that he found more issues which we knew at this point was not true so we told him to just put it back together and not do anything to it. He told us it would be 700 to put back for labor which we said fine. So when he called me back it was over 900.00 and this was on a Friday and they are closed on Saturdays so he would leave key hidden for me to pick up so I paid it over the phone. So when I went to pick it up we saw the invoice that almost 140.00 of coolant in it which we didn't authorize and the car doesn't even hold that much coolant and said no issue with windshield wiper So he got another 140.00 for overcharging for coolant and the windshield wiper still wasn't working. This guy jerked us around for 3 weeks ! Don't waste your time, I would take a car to a dealer before taking the car there!!!

Laura, Mike, John and crew have got it together!…read more Having automotive experience most all of my life, 15 of it as a professional, A.S.E. certified technician and working for the Goodyear Tire company (a company store vs independent) for 10 years during the '80s/90's in Jacksonville, I know all about the products and how a service center is supposed to run. While I may still have all of my tools, there are some things I just don't feel like doing myself, can't do myself (mounting tires) or have the time to do.....this is my "go to" place. We are always greeted when we walk in and even though we're not in there a lot, they almost know us by name (this tells me they WANT your business). They perform the maintenance requested and unless there is a serious issue that's safety related or could actually save us money performing it now instead of later, they don't call us trying to add additional sales. The waiting area is always clean and the shop area tends to be the same. If I'm not around, I have no issues with my wife or kids taking their automotive needs here.

They replaced my engine with a two year warranty. I trust them and I haven't had any more engine problems after the replacement.

Can I tell you how uncomfortable a feeling it is to be driving in a strange city when your car…read morebegins to behave in manner that is clearly illustrative of it having a very bad day? Not to worry....several hours later after attempting to get some local WOM -we landed at All Pro Automotive. They are consummate professionals dedicated to accurate diagnostics of your vehicle problem. Mike, the owner, and David, the mechanic joined forces to render our vehicle in good condition to allow our safe drive home. Frankly, we has been told we needed a very expensive repair ($500 plus) and after a prolonged and very thorough exam of our car-They did not concur. I think that it would be my best compliment to say that in these days of economic difficulty for small businesses, it is heartening and unusual- indicative of strong ethical roots not to take advantage of an opportunity to make 500 big ones. Based on this ethical behavior as well as their very professional and thorough investigation of our uncooperative vehicle if we lived in Amelia Is. (Fernandina Beach)- It is a certainty that Mike and Dave @ All Pro Automotive would be our "go to" place. Perhaps, they should be yours too!

If you have a vehicle at All-Pro Automotive you must move it now! Mike is a conman and a liar!…read more I wish I never encountered All-Pro Automotive. They have made my life nothing but HELL! The shop kept my vehicle for approximately 14 months, and when it was returned, it was almost in worse condition than when I brought it in. Among the issues I discovered were a broken headlight, incomplete repairs, and parts left inside the vehicle for me to install myself. The vehicle was returned with several serious safety concerns, including a hood that was not functioning properly and a battery that was unsecured and moving freely under the hood. In my opinion, this created a potential safety hazard. In addition, the air conditioning system was not properly serviced, as no refrigerant had been added. Work that should have been completed was either left unfinished or performed improperly. They actually used wood screws, glue instead of brackets and bolts. As a result, I am now facing thousands of dollars in additional repair costs to correct problems that were not fixed and to address issues caused by the condition in which the vehicle was returned. Based on my experience, I can only recommend All-Pro Automotive being permanently shut down.
