This restaurant used to be good, but has recently changed hands. This used to be our go to place for Chinese food in the area, but it just has gone downhill. They still serve the same food that the old management did, but there is definitely a change and not for the better. I've always said that if you're going to have a small selection of food, everything has to be great. And it was with the old management, but not anymore. Don't get me wrong the new management are very nice, but the food just is not as good as it was. Trust me when I say it's a very sad day for me and my tummy.

We were greeted in a friendly manner and our server was very attentive. However, the dining experience itself left a sour... no, cardboard taste in our mouths. Many of the serving stations were empty when we first came in and, unfortunately, several of the items I chose on my first trip to the buffet were stale-ish. It's a holiday weekend so maybe the timing was just off for the visit. A few fresh items were brought out but the green beans tasted canned and nothing really stood out to us. When both of us struggle to find a silver lining in something, things are amiss. Fortunately, dessert was good but shortly afterward, we got the check and felt nauseated at the price of what seemed to us like reheated pre-heated food. Hopefully this visit wasn't representative of what the restaurant has to offer; otherwise, somebody needs to put the Farmhouse out to pasture.

There were probably 8 to 10 spots out front in their parking lot as well as street parking. Upon entering I was immediately greeted, seated, and handed a menu.(pictures included). There was a large selection of sushi, however I decided upon the salmon teriyaki. I chose a diet cola as my beverage, not being in the mood for hot or sweet tea, etc. My order arrived on a sizzling platter within 10 minutes. On the table was soy sauce and low sodium soy sauce which was what I used on my white rice. The salmon was accompanied with onions, sliced carrots, and broccoli, and everything was delicious (Photo included in my accompanying pics). The restaurant was clean, reasonably quiet, not excessively busy during my time there, and with an active take out service in action. The photo of my tab is includes.
