I felt like they wanted me to get one so they could kidnap me or something. I had a weird vibe. Thank God I came here during the daytime. What they say about Asian massage places are true. This place is a front. It's definitely a place for prostitution and most definitely human trafficking. I felt so disturbed by my experience that I did some extra research on the location. The lady at the front desk was very nice and had a wonderful explanation of where to go and what to expect. Gregory did my massage and he was absolutely fantastic at making sure any problem areas I had were worked out. He was very polite throughout the massage checking in with me to make sure I felt okay. Great experience! Cons: During my massage , I heard nothing but people talking throughout the hallway. Not sure what their protocol is in regards to keeping the hallway quiet where there are massage rooms on each side , but it was a bit uncomfortable and hard to get into the relaxing stage due to the noise. The water was held at the end of the hallway , not in the lounge with the tea, which I found to be super inconvenient. Other in the lounge had to seek workers out to ask where water could be as well, just didn't make any sense. The cost for non members was $125 for a 60 minute massage which is kind of absurd . The massage was good but it wasn't worth $125. I understand their tactic is to get you to be a member so the cost is lower , but I think they're missing out on a whole new business opportunity for those who want to just pop in for a massage and not be a member where they are tied down to a monthly contract. For $125 you can get a 90 minute massage at a ton of other spots . Not 60 minutes. Due to the cost, I probably won't come back. But overall it was a nice experience and I always appreciate a very clean business.

I admit, with the affordable prices and strip mall location I was skeptical about what type of service I would receive. However, when I entered the massage studio I knew I would have a great experience. The reception area is small but inviting and the receptionist was friendly but not overbearing. The massage therapist (Hope) took the time to ask me what my concerns and pains were and based her massage on those areas and concerns. It was refreshing to have a personalized experience rather than a standard massage. She kept asking whether the level of pressure was OK (I was getting deep tissue) and kept other chatter to a minimum. I left the studio feeling refreshed and free of pain. It would have been worth $100 but Melody's has incredibly affordable prices and I only paid $40.

I have trigger points and very tense muscles in my upper back and shoulders. Though I generally enjoy a more therapeutic massage using deep tissue and myofascial release techniques, this was the most relaxing massage I've ever had - to where I actually fell asleep. Cici was very receptive to my requests for more pressure where it was needed. I do, in retrospect, wish she'd placed a bit more focus on my trigger points, but that was my fault for not specifying. Again, she is very receptive and easy to talk to - I'm sure that if I'd asked, she would have elbowed tf out of my stubborn knots. The building is small, right next to the nail salon in the Unity Shopping Center - small but clean. The room was lit dimly and relaxing instrumental music played. Cici used unscented oil, and then used a hot towel to remove it so my shirt would not be stained. I was provided with a bottle of water at the end of the session, and left feeling like I had some blood flow in my shoulder blades again. For a massage that's not specifically marketed towards pain relief, I'd give it a 6/10 for relieving pain. For relaxing and winding down, I'd give an 11/10. TLDR: if you need to relax a bit, this is the place. If you have mild or moderate muscle tension and pain, this is the place. If your back is a minefield, you'll get relief but perhaps not as much as a chiropractor with a massage gun.
