BJ got the Deep Tissue Massage and I got the Chinese Foot Reflexology. Both treatments were one hour long. We both thought that the location was very quiet, clean and relaxing. My foot treatment started out with a nice warm soak and foot wash. After my feet and legs were dried off, the timer was started and the treatment began. The place can not be considered a 'spa' by any means but the therapist more than made up for the facility. While it was clean yet unadorned, the location was convenient and they made good use of available space. The attendant spoke little to no English and used her phone as a translation device and even that was a bit bumpy. "Midi o Straw" was what I heard and quickly realized she was asking if I wanted a Medium or Strong massage. I never figured a massage was to tickle so I said "Straw". I am used to Swedish and Deep Tissue massages and this, while different did not dissapoint. I will not go into details but suffice to say that this therapist took her work seriously as she beat out the knots in my back, arms and legs. The 'Asian' approach to massage was different but appreciated. I normally enjoy a little commentary or conversation during a session but here we had mostly silence although I could make out "straw"..."straw" while she was working on some impressive knots in my upper back. I guess she figured I would pass out from the pain but I saw it through to the end, looking forward to the relief when the pain ended. Would I go back? Certainly. Was the price fair? Yes, she worked her ass off. A substantial tip was gladly handed over at the end. Looking forward to next visit.
