I talked to them about a month or two after he died to get the gift card and they basically said they can't help because I'm not on the account. So I decided to get a new internet carrier. Once I got the new internet, I called on April 7, 2025 and cancelled T-Mobile. My husband got an email stating that it was cancelled and a few days later, I got call from T-Mobile telling me how to proceed with returning the equipment. I returned the equipment on 4-12-25. Well, they still took money out of my bank for this month. I called them and they said the account is still open. They also said that we had to fill out forms because I was not on the account to be able to cancel it. Apparently, someone is supposed to get back to me but I'm not holding my breath. Fortunately, I got my bank involved and they're disputing the charge. I also cancelled the debit card that they used so now they can't charge me anymore.

About a month ago my internet stopped working and stayed that way for a week straight. I called daily and was given the run around that it is a "server issue and will be fixed soon" but they could never tell me exactly when. I eventually talked to a technician who told me Gigstreem is actively trying to lose NetBlazr customers who were grandfathered into a lower price. That and they just don't care enough to pay for technicians to fix issues so anything that goes wrong takes weeks to fix. After a week of back and forth and no internet I cancelled my service and signed up with another company. The outage started at the start of July and I had paid for a full month of internet so I demanded a refund as the internet didn't work at all after I paid. I was told I would receive one but it never came. I called a dozen times over three weeks and was told "the finance team is working on it". Eventually I gave up and had to file a charge back with my credit card company. This internet provider is completely broken and doesn't care about you in any way. I hate to say it but even comcast is better and I really hate them. Stay far far away from this company.

The woman who helped me was Stacy. I had some questions about my bill, that had increased astronomically, overnight. Stacy clearly explained that charge would come off of my final bill now that I had returned my equipment. Her demeanor was professional, explanations clear and service was quick and efficient. I would recommend Stacy (at the DC hq) to anyone using Astound services.

Throughout the entire process, Sean was incredibly patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. He took the time to pair our new iPhones with our other devices (including our Apple Watches) and made sure every setting was correct. What impressed me most was how meticulous he was in transferring all of our data and ensuring nothing was missed. Switching devices can be stressful, but Sean made it seamless and easy. If you need someone who truly cares about getting things right, ask for Sean--he's awesome!

I called earlier this week to find out how long they would be keeping the package before returning it. They said Saturday. I said OK, I'll be there Friday night, is that OK? Sure, they responded. You can probably imagine where this is going. I got there on Friday evening and told them I had a package waiting for me. They went in the back and said there is no package for me. I recounted my earlier conversation. They said, well, we probably returned it today. I asked them to check again. They refused to look again, just reiterated that there is No package. I asked to speak to the manager. No manager was there. I asked for the manager's contact information. The clerk refused to give it to me. I asked when the manager would be there next. The clerk said Monday. I asked what the manager's name was. Julio, the clerk responded. What's his last name? I asked. The clerk refused to give me that information. OK, what's your name? The clerk paused. Sauntee, he said. And what's your last name? I asked. The clerk refused to tell me. So if your package is rerouted here, my only advice to you is go get it immediately because they will Lie to you about how long they will keep it, and then send it back. Also, by the way, while I was there I heard the clerk giving extremely bad information to another customer - the clerk said that the customer's modern Samsung phone did not have working Bluetooth. The customer was incredulous, rightfully so. As I was leaving I told the customer that the clerk doesn't know what he's talking about, that all modern phones have Bluetooth, and that the clerk is trying to make you think that this function just isn't supposed to work even though it should. I had one of the worst customer experiences ever with Asurion. My phone was only a couple of months…read moreold with a small crack on the front screen but was otherwise in perfect working order. I filed a claim under my Asurion insurance and scheduled a repair. The technician took my phone to his van and returned 15 minutes later with the same cracked screen -- but now the display was completely green and glitching. He apologized, gave me a number to call, and assured me they would replace the device. From there, everything became a nightmare. I had to make multiple calls to get the ticket closed, re-explaining my situation every time. Two supervisors were unhelpful -- one even hung up on me. Another told me that "before and after photos" showed the phone was the same, which was impossible. The phone I handed over was fully functional, and the one I got back was unusable with a bigger crack. It felt like they were trying to push me into paying the full $99 replacement deductible by framing this as "additional damage." Only after I escalated multiple times did they agree to replace the phone -- but refused to expedite shipping even though same-day was available, despite me explaining that my work depends on my phone. In my opinion, this process seems designed to frustrate customers and extract more money from them. The entire experience was stressful, time-consuming, and unprofessional. Today is the second day without my phone, meaning I cannot do my work, accept important calls, or communicate effectively -- and I still have not been provided with a tracking number. It is completely unknown when I will receive the replacement phone.
