Though big and with a pleasant enough décor, going to the Xfinity Store by Comcast was a downright awful experience. I went there to return an Xfinity modem that I had been renting. When I stepped into the store I was greeted, asked my name and told that my wait would be 30 minutes. Well, from the looks of the crowd and the fact that they only had one counter clerk working, I knew the wait time was going to be one heck of a lot longer than 30 minutes. Then, after a 25 minutes of waiting and the same customer was still with that one clerk plus the room full of those ahead of me, I left to try another day. So a few days later I did come back. Again there was only one customer clerk and I was again told I'd have a 30 minute wait. But because there were fewer people there I decided to wait. After 20 minutes they called me. Hooray! It seems the others were waiting for something else under the Comcast sign. Judith, my clerk was totally professional, speedy and polite. My return was quick and went off without a hitch. But I feel sorry for her. It's not her fault that this place is so severely understaffed and not her fault I'm only giving the place a one star. If I were rating her customer service it would be a five star. Going here, timing is everything. As a tip I would suggest being there right when they first open in the morning.

I have been out of internet service since Monday 03/18. Today is 03/21 - now day (4) that technicians we're supposed to show up between 1 PM - 3 PM to fix it with a no show. So I am on day (4) with no internet service and my work (laptop/printer depends on it) - as well as the rest of my home - including television, lights, security cameras and my doorbell. My apartment is basically a "smart home." So basically I am not a priority to Xfinity since it's not a neighborhood outage - just a small apartment building outage. I'm being told today that Saturday is the next available day, 03/23 between 8 AM - 10 AM - and now this affects my other job so my income with both of my professions. And I'm going to have to provide my second employer with some documentation as I will need a personal day off or have to call in sick because I have to be home at 8-10 AM on Saturday and I have to be at my 2nd job at 9 AM on Saturday. So if I could give Xfinity any rating it would be less than their choices. They deserve -5 stars! James Gillard

I called Brian and with a quick response, he came over to my house to see what I needed. I was looking to bring my Cablevision to an detached garage, along with wifi and to also bring my cable out to the back of my home for a TV, along with the installation of the wall brackets and TV's as well. This required outside trenching a conduit for the cable from the house to the garage and going under a cement and paver walkway. Brian came, checked it out, had me rest at ease knowing that it can be done no problem. His crew of 2 hard workers, Chris and his Ryan showed up and started the job with diligence. They started by surveying the site for the best route of running the wires, and got to work. These guys worked all day running cables (cat5 wire) and installing all that was needed. They needed to come back a second day to finish up. Chris and Ryan were amazing working really hard as a team and not stopping. My end product...I have my 2 TV'S installed and my wifi repeater in the garage as well. These guys are amazing!! I already discussed with Ryan now a security system and well be getting that done in the future. He gave me a great price on that too. He is coming this Friday to install an electric box on the roof of my garage room to hang a chandeli over a board table. These guys rock. They are professionals and get the job done!
