As…read morea constant traveler and having Cameras, security system and air conditioning/Heating/and Humidifier working on WiFi it is not comforting to have it all go away after a lightning storm. Particularly if you are 3,000 miles away for a month. When I get home all I have had to do was turn it on. (Another company used to do this from their service desk). Plus, I paid 1/3 more than I am paying now for a better service. In trying to cancel my subscription, I have to take the equipment back to their store. (They have no store in Tampa)! I am satisfied if I was to stay home and be at the mercy of my WiFi.

On Jan 26th I took my equipment back to UPS(who told me to hold the paperwork for a year since they are notorious for charging people hundreds of dollars claiming they never received the equipment back). I then continue calling to close my account and they said it was done and it never was. I got a bill in March thinking my account has been closed. I called and they said the 88.00 was for the month of March and i told them I closed the account in Jan. I have a bill that they have charged me for Jan, Feb and March...$88.31 a month. The first time I called in Jan to cancel the person I spoke to said that i was under the 30 day guarantee and there would be no charge since i canceled after 2 weeks. Well i just got a letter from a debt collection agency...well they will not get a cent from me. This company has no scruples and i believe they are stealing from people intentionally. This is hilarious that Mary responded with same message she uses for everyone.. do you see you reviews? after dealing with Frontier for a month I can see your as ignorant as the people in customer service and it's also hilarious that you think i would ever try to call there again to try to fix anything! good riddance and you won't see a cent from me, don't give a rats ass about your debt collection!!! They bait and switch, so you find yourself having to contact them at least once a year when they jack up their prices. The cherry on the icing was the email I got from them saying as a ten year loyalty member I was being given a diamond membership for free. I thought Great! I can get Premium again at no extra cost. No such luck. After a whole morning and almost missing a dental appointment, and speaking with three different live people following mazes of bot promps, I got absolutely NOWHERE. We paid off our phone with them 2 months ago ( something AT&T will reimburse us for.).They have refused to give us our statement which shows this payment. My husband and I have attended the store on 2 occasions to have me put on the account that was in his name. Both times we were assured that this had been done. I went to the store and was 'greeted by a very surly man asking me what I wanted . I told him I need a copy of a statement as I was told by a rep on the phone that I had to go to the store for this. He then asked me if I was on the account and I said not as when we spoke to a rep on the phone my husband had to identify himself and tell them that they could speak to me!!! I told the man at the store that my husband was waiting by the phone to verify me and he said very nastily that no they would not do that. My husband has congestive heart failure and very seldom is able to leave the house. He then told me to get a power of attorney if that was the case. He then smirking told me to have a nice day! I totally lost it at that point and told him to f;:$ off and left. All we are asking for is a copy of a statement to show that we paid them for the phone. The reason I believe the staff is so rude is there is absolutely no one in charge that you can talk to.

    I pay $235 per month for the triple play package and have done so for the past 6 years. They sent a…read moreguy out to bury my cable and he claimed he had to fix a wiring problem that he found from the previous technician. Though I didn't really think that we had a problem since everything seemed to be working fine, he claimed he replaced the existing cable with a new one. He buried the cable and left. Our tv service was out soon after he was. Several hours on the phone with Verizon until they finally promised to send a tech that day. At first, they wanted to schedule us out a couple of days- which I adamantly refused. Really, the last supervisor just told me he was sending someone just to get off the phone. So, I waited around the rest of the day. No one showed up. I called back at approximately 6:30 and spoke to another operator who told us that our appointment was for the next day anytime up until 8:00pm. He did not see any notes that we were promised a return visit to fix the problem that their guy caused. They lied and I feel stupid for believing that they would send somebody back to correct the problem that they caused. Moral of the story: " If you can tolerate overpriced services with no expectations of any customer service, then Verizon is your telecommunications company."

They claim that we are outside that window because they go by a specific date of when service was scheduled to begin and not when equipment is received meaning we were getting charged for service that we couldn't possibly use. Twice today I have been hung up on, once by customer service rep and once by the so-called manager. Not once did I raise my voice because I don't feel there is any point in that. How rude?!!! Would I recommend Verizon to anyone? Based on their customer service alone HELL NO!!!!

I moved into a newer apartment complex in New Tampa and chose Frontier as my internet service provider. The customer service, setup, technician service, and service in general were good. No issues. I recently tried to cancel my Frontier internet service because I'm moving out of state after 18 months. First, I checked their website to see if I could transfer service, but it wasn't available. Then I tried to cancel online, only to find out you can't--you have to call an agent. After working a 12‑hour overnight shift, I called customer service, exhausted but determined to cancel by the end of the month. When I finally reached an agent, I explained my situation and asked to cancel. Instead of helping me, he stalled and kept pushing questions and sales pitches. He asked things like how I knew Frontier couldn't cover my new apartment, who was moving into my old place, and whether they'd want Frontier service. I told him repeatedly that I didn't have that information and that I just needed my service canceled. No matter how many times I asked, he ignored me, kept putting me on hold, and followed what felt like a script designed to keep me as a customer rather than listening to me. I was frustrated, exhausted, and felt completely unheard. All I wanted was a straightforward cancellation, but instead, I was met with resistance and pressure. Finally, I was not getting satisfaction and ended the call. I called back, luckily got another agent, and got my services cancelled. However, as a consolation prize, Frontier is charging me a $50 restocking fee after 18 months of use. What? So, if you want consistent, good internet service, do not mind the runaround when you wish to cancel your services, and are okay with being penalized a $50 fee for returning the equipment, this is the company for you!     I highly advise you avoid this company…read more After using their service for 4 years, they shut down our service based on the request of the new customers who were purchasing our home from us. I use wireless for my work so I was in a very unpleasant situation the last two weeks of living in our home. This is the only utility company I have ever heard of that shuts down services without speaking to the homeowner first to verify. Then, to top things off, they had the audacity to send us a $58.00 bill, with threat of collection, for a disconnect fee, two months after we left the property. Yes, you read that right - they charged us $58.00 as a final con job and then told us they do this to everyone when they end their service with them.
