While the company Xfinity in and of itself is a mess, this Xfinity store proved to be amazing in terms of customer service! I actually felt like something was getting done and the assistance I needed was actually being given. No wait when I walked in on a Sunday afternoon. The sales associate who I worked with was super nice, super helpful, and more importantly super KNOWLEDGEABLE so she could navigate the system to find the issue where I was being charged more than needed. While Xfinity as a company needs to do some major work, I will continue to drive out of my way to visit this location as opposed to any others in the metro area. Oh, my gosh, I canceled my account in February and received a collection notice from an agency for charges AFTER September. It is ironic that I canceled for bad service on my internet as well as awful customer service. They charged me for unused services. They did not keep records of all the outages and issues I had that caused me to disconnect. They did not even have the correct disconnect date. They blackmailed me into paying them. It was a pittance, but I did not owe it! If you use them, keep meticulous records because they don't! I have had the XB10 Modem for a week. My ethernet connection is horrible on all ports. I was wait listed and got a next day appointment.  I standing outside and watched the technician drive by my home 3 times. The last time I made eye contact as he drove right by me. I immediately received a text stating that my tech has arrived and to greet him outside. While responding to this message,  I received another text that said that I missed my technician? This was so unprofessional. When I called to complain I was told someone else would be out. An hour later I called back only to be told "s8nce it is past 3pm there is nothing thar can be done." What kind of answer is that? This was the worst experience I've ever had with xfinity. The tech drove up and down my block until his GPS noticed he was there. What a LIAR. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! To be clear up front - I'm not rating Xfinity mobile service yet but just the actual store. I had the most amazing rep helping out today. I have to give a shout out to Danny who very patiently helped us out for over 2 hours while Verizon gave us the run around. I'm so glad we're leaving Verizon - whose customer service reps are only allowed to make up excuses and give out bogus information. We walked into this clean, bright, fully staffed Xfinity store and were immediately greeted by Danny. We were early for our appointment but there were no other customers (until noon - when it started to get busy). We came fully prepared with our account number and transfer pin, after insuring that our phone numbers were unlocked and able to be ported. Somehow Verizon managed to block the transfer anyway. But Danny very patiently tried to work around the problems and even spent time on the phone with Verizon for us. Meanwhile I watched as the other reps in the store happily and promptly helped other customers. Not once, in over 2 hours, did Danny ever seem frustrated or annoyed. He maintained a professional and matter of fact demeanor and it was clear he wasn't going to stop trying to help until we were all set on all three phones. Finally, we were all set - thanks to Danny! The store is roomy and has plenty of seating and lots of products to look at, and there's lots of parking around the store. read more

Today I went in to upgrade some of my equipment. I was met by Allen Hamilton at the door and within a few seconds he had me being taken care of by Allie Narro. Allie listened to my needs and immediately had the equipment I needed and desired in my hands. Both Allie and Allen are professional and personal and getting you taken care of is first on their to do list. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give then each a 20. I cannot say enough about how pleasant my experience was today. If you ate in the market for a great television content experience, then I highly recommend Xfinity and Allie and Allen. Despite many promises we have spent over 8 hours talking with Xfinity customer service including corporate escalation and we still are awaiting our refund. Now promised a mailed check in another 10 to12 day. Worst customer service ever. By going with Tmobile for phone and internet and You Tune TV, we are saving about $150 a month. To start, we were given the wrong equipment -it wasn't compatible with the services we ordered. For the plan we have, seems we are paying for a lot of garbage. When it's all said and done, we are paying $100/month to have access to sports. The real sore spot - the Wi-Fi service is a perpetual pain in the a**. They do offer fiber, but speed tests confirm that we see only a small fraction of that performance level, at best, 20% of what they claim. Not worth it based on the fact that one doesn't get what they paid for. But it gets worse. Service is unreliable, particularly any time "enhancement" work that has been completed in our area. We will go weeks with intermittent outages until several calls have been made and several hours spent online with offshore staff who just re-run you through their textbook protocol, to no avail. Not a good situation for someone who works from home. Now for the worst aspect of the experience. Service. It takes a great amount of fortitude to connect with a live human. The company has done literally everything possible to avoid direct human interactions absent walking in to one of their retail locations. The phone numbers provided make it all but impossible to get a person on the line, and the automated system just heightens the frustration level and has never resolved an issue. The chat feature is just as poor. I have wasted several hours with every service outage (and there have been many) attempting to get someone to acknowledge that there is a service outage, and even more time to get through their unhelpful diagnostic protocols. It takes an act of God to get a service tech out...and typically, that does not work either, as the root of the problem tends to emanate from "upgrade" work they do in the are and has nothing to do with our setup at home. One you do jump through the myriad hoops and they schedule a service appointment, the situation magically resolved itself with no explanation. When too naive to know better, I would then cancel the service appointment, only to wake up to another outage the next morning. I am convinced that only reason this organization has not gone bankrupt is because other service providers haven't offered services in many areas yet. I'm on the watch list for a number of providers who are expanding to our area with fiber. It will be a very happy day the moment I receive notification that one of them offer service where we live and we can have a chance at getting the service we pay for. If you want to know what the worst possible business model and customer service experience looks and feels like, try Xfinity/Comcast. The only thing impressive about it is it's sheer ineptitude. read more

I would not recommend this company to anyone in or with family in the military. They refuse to wave the early termination of "the contract". A contract I've never seen or signed. My father got military orders to move and our house has finally sold. Therefore I had to cancel the internet services. Upon my first call they tried setting me up with a new plan and disregarded the fact that I needed it canceled. Once I spoke to the supervisor though yes she was not rude she stated that because of "the contract" there was nothing she could do. Even though I had no choice but to cancel the plan due to moving orders. They are not understanding nor accommodating. I will never use or recommend this company to anyone but specifically those in the military. With other internet services we have never had this issue. These other services have always been very understanding with the unknowing way of the military. Xfinity is quite the opposite. I can not reiterate enough how much I do not recommend this company. Even for the sake of those who help fight for our country they won't break their ridiculous never seen before sacred contract. Already had xfinity internet and security set up at my place and needed to change my name & billing information. They insisted they had to send out a technician to set up my system. I told them I already had my system and just needed to change my name and billing information on the account. But they said they had to send out a technician and that it would cost $100 but they might not even charge me since my system is already set up. So I agreed to the tech coming out and he said xfinity requires him to change out the Home Screen with the same Home Screen. Not even an updated one. I just received my bill and they're charging me $200 for the tech to come out!! I called to ask if they could wave the $200 fee since my system was already set up and I basically got a big fat "NO". So beware anytime you have to change any information on your account you're going to get a big fat bill!!! Sounds like a scam to me!! Next time I have to change any information on my account again I'll just cancel and find a different service!!! read more

Pretty okay service I guess considering it's them or CenturyLink because that's how capitalism works. They don't give you a heads up about outages or maintenance, which happens at night, when I work sometimes, so that kinda sucks. Easily the worst company that I am forced to patronize, aside from Xcel. No other internet provider has the same coverage in my area so I am stuck with Xfinity. Aside from their laborious customer service portals, they also enjoy disrespecting their customers by performing random "service updates" that shut off the internet for hours. Upon checking the myXfinity app during each outage, the app always says such outages are due to updates that "improve service" to the customers. The most recent one, however, made my router cease to work. Xfinity refuses to admit any wrongdoing and now I have to buy a new router. Lick my balls, Xfinity. Lick 'em both. read more

We will be switching cell phone providers due to the absolute rudeness of the employees, who apparently were either annoyed at having to work Christmas Eve or because my College son couldn't afford to upgrade to more than he can afford. First of all we made an appointment. We did not receive any assistance for 30 minutes from our appointment. At check in we did say we wanted an IPhone 11. Instead of saying, we don't have any in stock, we waited 30 minutes to find out the store doesn't have any. We could drive 30 minutes out of our way to get one at their busiest store. And, no, they wouldn't call ahead to hold it. Ludicrous. My son took offense to being treated so rudely because they offered him a IPhone 12 and have an attitude because he can't afford it. Once again my son is embarrassed and agitated because he doesn't make enough money, yet.... Be sure when he graduates and does have money, he will remember this experience and NOT be going to Xfinity.
