My husband and I went there to pick up a new box for a new tv. We already have an account so expected to be in and out quickly. We waited 40 minutes for someone to talk to us and then to finalize our purchase they both texted and emailed me but neither way worked so we said you have our verbal consent and we acknowledge the new price . We were left to just stand there waiting for the go ahead to leave but the guy disappeared again and the manager who was to handle our purchase was nowhere to be found. After over an hour we just walked out. It was beyond ridiculous. Will not go back there. read more

This Comcast is a train wreck similar to all the other locations. There are some employees that are good but most are hiding in the back while the lobby is full of angry people. I noted some employees were just texting instead of helping customers while other customers got annoyed and cut in front of other people going straight to the reps that were already done. Check in guy asked us our name three times within 10 minutes and also kept calling the same names out of people that had already been helped. Ugh maybe try to come as soon as they open. I have been to the Xfinity store at 5300 Donald Ross Rd Palm Beach Gardens twice n the last few weeks. First time to pick up the newest Modem and again to switch my cell service to Verizon. . I had an appointment today at noon but...was some what apprehensive about walking in because of many negative reviews I had read. The unpleasant reviews were everything from it being extremely cold temperature wise to very long wait times even with an appointment to very nasty employees. I can tell you that none of the reviews could I find to he true. I was greeted with a smile, I checked in and waited less than 5 minutes. My customer service representative was Randal and he could not be more polite, pleasant, knowledgeable and quick. My issue was resolved in less than 10 minutes and I left Xfinity a happy customer. read more

i have been to the local store three times in three weeks to get help with my cell service trade in that they broke and denied me credit for and I cant even get management to call me. The store claims they have to escalate it up the chain and cant help me locally but nothing happens after I leave. I was a fan for tv but the first experience with cell service has been horrible read more

Hope I don't need to use XFinity / Comcast again. Overall the service was expensive and internet / cable was sketchy. But-- when returning equipment - be SURE you get and keep the receipt. This was the second time I've been charged for equipment that I either never had or had already returned. And note: they tell you that you don't need a receipt. But I was grateful to have mine when they charged my account again after returning equipment. Sam-- one of the local XFinity staff at the Alton store was arrogant; rude and genuinely disrespectful. While I was logging in to my account to show her the info-- Sam got on her phone and looked at social media. Sam said she could not help me and told me to call 1-800-Xfinity to get my issue resolved. (Really?) I've spent over 45 minutes on the phone and just got someone to put a note on the account that I never had their modem. (They can see that on my account anyway.) avoid this company if you can. Get your receipt and keep it for returned equipment. read more

SUPERVISOR SUCKED!! Woke up last Thursday & cable was out, well as Comcast customer, nothing new, unplugged for few minutes, replugged in & went about getting ready for work. It didn't take, which doesn't always 1st time, didn't think anything of it & had to leave for work. When got home that day, realized internet down too. Contacted customer service & after 5 minutes of awful automated service got through to a live person. I was assured that we were "preferred customers" & someone would be out that night. Shocking, lol, while waiting for call I got a text to confirm service appt for following day btwn 3-5, ok, was already after 2pm when called, wasn't going to bitch b/ woulda been nice if they had been honest with me when spoke to them. Get's better, didn't see couple clients so I could be home in time for appt, was about 5 minutes before end of out service window & decided to call because knew would take me at least that long to get through automated system. I was told I cancelled my appt? HUH?!? Rep could not see how, when or why, I asked to speak to supervisor. BERNIE came on & told me he saw why cancelled, the initial person I spoke to entered phone # incorrectly, BS!!!!! If he had just told me they Fd up, I would have been more understanding, it happens b/ to pass the buck?!? He informed me that the automated system had called the phone # that was inputted incorrectly & since there was no answer, they cancelled the appt? I asked, "how is that possible since I was texted confirmation, how did # get changed btwn automated text & phone call?"; he did not have answer, instead HE BLAMED ME!!! He said " I should have downloaded the xfinity app & I would have seen there was an issue w/ appt"?!? I mentioned, uhhh, we don't have internet & his response was "what you don't have a phone?" R U FREAKING KIDDING ME?!? Not once did he apologize, he offered a $20 credt, you kidding, me, we have been promised service for 2 days & 2 days blown off & service includes, computer, TVS, security cameras & you want to blame me & then offer $20?!? We under contract but be honest with you, this Bernie definitely makes me want to look into alternates, know they have a conglomerate b/ customer service should still mean something!! read more
