Plus, he's more interested in good business practices than getting all he can get from the customer. The girl who checked my computer in left some information out about the cost of service, so I was charged more than I had planned on paying. I came her with a friend to get her screen fixed on her iPhone. The guys were nice enough to find out she still has a warranty on her phone which would have ensuring that they would loose the money. However because of their amazing service she chose to spend the extra money and have it done here. These guys will get our business from now on. 10 Stars for UberMac. Love that I did not have to go to the mall. And, absolutely love that the technician really knows his stuff! I took my son to Jason for an iPhone problem. Jason explained, in detail, the possible scenario's that could go right or wrong if we proceeded. His explanation gave us the information we needed to make an educated decision on whether or not to proceed and we were so glad to have that information. We did proceed and it all worked out great and for a fraction of the cost it would have cost to take it to the Apple Store. I am now a lifetime customer. read more

A fantastic new business with exceptional customer service. I did the worst thing ever to my new MacBook Pro- spilled coffee on it, and Jason (owner) talked to me over the phone and I decided to bring it in vs. go the the Apple store. In fact, the LAST place I wanted to go was the Apple store. Although my computer was dead, the amiable nature of Jason and Courtney made me feel like I was getting the best service and not just the runaround. I have a Macbook Air , was getting messages saying I had 3 virus's and a trojan needed to download this app for removal. Took it too UberMac in The Shoppes of Jupiter, Was greeted as soon as I entered. Told the young Lady my problems, She said normaly this is a $49.00 service charge and a $99.00 charge if a virus was found. Got a call 3 hours later good to go. Great folks. My iPhone abruptly stopped charging today, even when I tried different chargers so I took it to the closest place and this was it. She told me it has to be the charging port on the phone and that was $79. I was okay with that so I asked how long to fix it. I was expecting a few days because "we have to order the part" or something like that but she said "30 minutes" and half a hour later it was ready. Bingo! read more

I took my computer here to get looked at because it's been very slow! The guy at the counter was very honest with me and told me what he would recommend. The hard drive crashed on my mac. The apple store considered it a "vintage" machine and would not fix it. I brought it to Cobalt and they had it fixed within a couple of days. New hard drive with the most recent iOS software on it. Computer been working good ever since. read more

Alex was able to professionally help with my new I Phone 7 plus when other techs were confused and gave me the wrong advice. Beth who assists at Cobalt is always friendly and flexible with work schedules. Jason is a very professional and stand-up small business owner. I brought my daughter's phone into him because it was not working properly at all. I was told that it would be $39.99 if he had to take it apart to fix it. When I picked it up the next day he informed me that he was not able to fix it, that it was beyond repair. He explained all issues to us in depth. When I asked what I owed him he simply said "nothing"! He felt badly that he could not help my daughter and I and would not except any payment. My computer in Ft Myers is a Mac and I sent the resume to my self and had a jump drive with the resume and other documents for a job interview. I just had cobalt fix my macbook pro. My hard drive broke and had the folder icon on it. They had it fixed with a new hard drive and all my stuff back in 1 day. A friend told me they did good work and they do, but Apple computers are expensive to fix and although it's not cobalt's fault, im a little unhappy about prices, but they did a great job, and i will be back hopefully when Apple prices come down. read more
