I gave 3 stars to Independent Alarm to be fair to the company as I have not used their Alarm…read moreservices. From my recent experience I would give 0 star to the sale rep "Joe". We had an appointment at 3:00pm on 6/20/2017. Joe called at 2:40 asking if we could meet early and I returned the call 5 minutes later at 2:45. The number that he called from was their office number in NJ and they had to communicate to him that I was fine with an early meeting. Then he called again, left a message that he was not able to find a parking space (NOT a fact at this time of the day in my neighborhood). I contacted him again at 2:50pm and he was on his way to the next appointment. I checked where he was, he said at 67th street.... In 5 minutes he was at 67th street from Center City???? At 2:55pm I called Tony at the office to report the lack of service (note that 2:55pm was before the time of my scheduled appointment with Joe). Tony had been very helpful a few days prior, to get all the information and organize the field inspection with the salesman Joe. However, when the incident was reported, he was polite but non-committal, like he could not do anything about it but knew about the problem with sales...? I am not sure what has happened. Philadelphia is to far? Too complicated for a NJ organization? They have a communication problem? I will never know but I cannot trust this company with the safety of my family and will use someone else.

There's no tech repair or service business I would recommend more than Keystone Computer Advising…read more The service I received was exceptional -- unlike anything I've experienced from Geek Squad or other mainstream tech services. Ricardo is not only an expert who will gladly help and repair your PC, but he's also fair, communicative, and exceptionally skilled. In addition, my PC was repaired and ready to be picked up within a day of leaving it in Ricardo's hands. When my PC wouldn't turn on -- which I believed to be a power supply issue -- I first took it to Best Buy for a diagnosis. However, they could not have been less helpful; they wouldn't even attempt to identify the problem. In contrast, when I reached out to Ricardo, he very nobly offered free advice on the safest and most cost-effective steps to diagnose and fix my PC in an effort to save me money. At the same time, he reassured me that he'd be happy to handle the repair himself if that was my preference. I can confidently say there's nowhere else I'd rather go for my computer services and repairs. I would be remiss not to mention the care and thoroughness he brings to every step of the process. Not only did Ricardo repair my PC -- the service I received truly went the extra mile. It's now running like brand new. In addition to replacing the power supply, he completely cleaned out the dust, replaced the thermal paste on the CPU, and checked for viruses and malware. Throughout the process, Ricardo maintained clear communication regarding the services he was performing, and he never charged me for anything I didn't request.

My laptop would no longer charge. After calling several places and going to the geek squad I was devastated with the grim prognosis and expensive solutions offered until my husband found Keystone on another site. The reviews spoke so highly of Ricardo, that I quickly called him despite it being closing time. To my surprise he picked up the phone and then offered to stay and wait for me. He was amazing, told me he'd run a diagnostic to check my hard drive first to be sure there was no damage from the drop- why repair if hard drive damages (wow! We agreed that he would proceed with the repair if all was well. He spelled out the terms of our agreement and gave me a 5 day turn around. You can imagine how happy I was to get a call the following day from him saying my laptop was ready. This is my kind of establishment, honest, fair, customer-friendly and fast! He clearly is passionate about what he does and it shows.

We started with a consultation where I was able to ask questions and figure out what worked for me. Cost was an issue and Jesse talked through all the options and made a recommendation but did not pressure me or try to upsell me to engage in services he didn't think I needed. We talked about safety and what other people in the neighborhood have installed. It was great that he knew the area and had many long term clients around me. After picking the best package, Jesse followed up quickly and installment was very smooth. He discussed where I wanted the devices so that nothing was too obvious or ruined the aesthetics of the room. It was all carried out quickly and cleanly and with minimal interference in my day. I have since recommended Red Brick to everyone in my development and to other friends in Philadelphia.

I was concerned because it was a very small family company. Since then I have been 100% satisfied. If there is a problem they are on top of it. I got a call back from the owner within the hour (a service you don't get often). I couldn't take the call and I decided to wait till Monday as it was not an emergency situation.
